Hey guys, Precap for the last part is not valid anymore... I decided "Enough of Shyam's reptilianness..." ;P I thought of making him the eternal Cupid that he is, but felt that Arnav should manage without him... ;)

PART 12- ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA FEELS NERVOUS

When Khushi regained consciousness, only Arnav and Jiji were in the room. They explained the situation to Khushi, who was glad Di already knew. Anjali was outside, trying to 'console' Shyam. Meanwhile, it was also decided that Akash should be involved...Payal was relieved. She did not like keeping secrets from her husband; she excused herself, and went back to RM with Anjali, to explain things to Akash. Shyam excused himself, claiming to have to attend to some work.

(Arnav and Khushi now alone) Arnav stroked Khushi's hair. Khushi asked, "Arnavji, hum Shyamji ko rangey-haath kaise pakdenge...?" Arnav gave his famouse one-sided smirk. "Leave that to Di and me." Looking at her indignation, he added, "Once you are okay, you can help us too."

"Good, because I need to take revenge for what he did to Babuji!" She said through gritted teeth. Looking at Arnav's shocked expression, she explained everything. Just then, the Doctor walked in.

"Mr Raizada, you can take your wife home. Make sure she has these meds." He handed over a prescription to Arnav, who nodded in response.

At RM

"Anjali bitiya! Payal! Where were you both last night!!! "

Anjali cursed under her breath, and said, "Woh...Nani... sari dukaaney bandh thi, so... hum hotel mein khana khaake aa gaye... aur raastey mein..."

"They got a call that Khushi was hurt... so I joined them and went to GH and took Khushi to the hospital." Arnav had walked in, Khushi leaning on him for support. Nani rushed to them. "Khushi bitiya! Are you alright?!"

Khushi was pouting, leaning on Arnav for support; Arnav's had held her tightly around the waist. "Nani, don't worry! It was just a small fall at Buaji's house!"

Nani was not convinced. "Then what are so many meds for?"

"Woh...Nani... they are painkillers and..." WHAT THE HELL WAS HE SAYING! "Her fall made her lose a lot of blood, so there are supplements and-" ARNAV! STOP IT NOW! he told himself. He gave an exasperated sigh. "Ugh! Excuse us!" With that he tried to walk, but Khushi, feeling too weak, almost stumbled. He swept Khushi off her legs, and carried her back upstairs, not leaving her gaze for a second.

Anjali was highly amused. Chhotey had just given the lamest excuse. She noticed lack of conviction on Nani's face. She hurried towards Nani. "Relax Nani..."

Arnav's had held her tightly around the waist. "Nani, don't worry! It was just a small fall at Buaji's house!"

-In PaYash Room {Anjali, Akash, Payal}-

"Akashji? Do you remember what we had promised each other before our wedding?"

Akash nodded. "That we would never hide anything from each other."

Payal looked at him unsurely, and Anjali's hand on her shoulder encouraged her. "I have something to tell you...I am tired of hiding..."

Akash looked at Payal, worried now. "I'm listening..." Then he looked at Di... what was wrong?

Akash listened in sheer amazement to Payal's story. "Payal, is this some kind of prank?"

"No Akash. And we need your help." Anjali answered, before Payal could.

"What can I do?" Akash asked.

"We want to gather enough evidences...and here is what we need to do." After explaining, she added, "Chhotey said that we should start a few days later...Starting immediately would lead to suspicion." Anjali smiled inwardly... Chhotey had wanted to start right away, but Anjali had said that he needed to make it up to Khushi first.

-In ArShi Room-

Arnav lay Khushi on the bed very gently. He couldn't help but smile; she had fallen asleep on the way from down. Then he remembered why she was so tired... He clenched his fists. SHYAM MANOHAR JHA! I will have you life for what you did...! As he looked at her, sleeping angelically, he realized something... Even Arnav Singh Raizada could be decieved...

-Some TIME Later-

Then, he remembered something, and quietly went to Di's room. He knocked, "Di?"

"Haan Chhotey?" Anjali asked.

He looked at her, and asked hesitantly... "Di? Did you...uh...you said that you would..."

Anjali rolled her eyes. "No Chhotey. She is YOUR wife... I got few of them put separately, but YOU must choose the right one."

Arnav inhaled. "Yeah. Ok Di. You are right. But Di...come with me?"

"Accha baba, chalo." She closed the door behind her, and checked the time. 10 am...It had been more than 12 hours since they had found Khushiji...

"Chhotey, he will be back soon within an hour...we must be back by then..." Anjali warned. Arnav nodded.

Outside RM, at an XYZ {Secret} Shop...

Arnav and Anjali sat patiently, examining the pieces they were being shown. Finally, a small shine caught Arnav's eye. "Di? I think that would be perfect! Our favourite colors, and also the color that represents her the best!"

Anjali agreed, and before both of them left, the man at the counter asked, "Anjaliji, aapko woh waali pasand aayi, jo aapke pati ne picchli baar yahan se kharidi thi?"

Arnav's head shot up, and Anjali's memory became distinct. A simple design... she had found the other day... Khushiji's engagement...

"Ji, kaunsi?"

"Arey! Unhone ab tak aapko di nahi? He had purchased it nearly an year back... two infact!

That explained how he had given Anjali the same design... But where had he gotten the money for TWO from?

Anjali said, "Hum aapse baad mein baat mein baat karenge... hum thodi jaldi mein hain..." She pulled Arnav out, and explained the day she had first been suspicious... Arnav's angry face transformed to a victorious smirk. "What Chhotey?"

"Di, we have got the first piece of evidence."

Anjali nodded. "Per Chhotey, ab tum uss per dhyaan mat do... Khushiji ko manao!" She said, as the got into the car.

Arnav nodded, and fingered the packet in his hand. Anjali noticed, and smirked. Arnav Singh Raizada was feeling nervous!!!

Back at RM

Anjali and Arnav made their way upstairs quickly. This did not go unnoticed by Nani; she kept quiet.
Arnav noticed Khushi was still asleep. He decided not to disturb her, and tip-toed to his cupboard to make sure everything he needed was ready inside. Satisfied, he left for office. The day was normal at RM...

Shyam had gone away in the morning again, wondering why Khushiji had not spilled his beans yet... What was she upto! He was frustrated... And Saale Saab and Khushiji seemed to have even less misunderstanding than before, because Saale Saab would call frequently, and Khushiji would blush while talking on the phone, making it obvious that it SAALE Saab... ANd everyone was teasing them... It drove Shyam crazy!!!

Arnav drove back to RM, feeling nervous again...What if he failed miserably! He was happy at the prospect of seeing Khushi again though... He smiled to himself... When he reached RM, it was about 9 in the evening...

As soon as he entered, he looked around for Khushi... Anjali walked to him and whispered, "I insisted Khushiji to eat and go to bed... That way, you willhave, *ahem* more time...?"

Arnav nodded, not knowing whether to be grateful, or just say 'shit'.

He had his dinner, and walked upstairs, receiving a wink in form of Best of Luck from Anjali.

-ArShi Room-

After changing from his office clothes, Arnav slowly set to work... keeping as quiet as possible, and hoping Khushi would not wake up at the wrong moment...

Any guesses on what Arnav was buying? I think you would have guessed it by now!!!!

And People, I think you might be a little disappointed with this one cuz nothing much happened in this... but it was sortof necessary... the 'i-will-make-it-up-to-you' track will begin from next part... ie, PART 13...
