ArHi OS: Is she interested?

"How will you know if she is interested in you?" curious akash asked his best buddy n hunk of the college Arnav.

"It's simple, just wait n watch" arnav said n started moving towards the two girls who were standing in the corridor chatting.

Arnav likes khushi from the day one but doesn't know if he should ask her out or not. He has heard that khushi slapped a guy a week ago when he tried to flirt with her n to avoid that situation he had to first know if she is interested or not.

Khushi n arnav are classmates n have been good friends from initial days, her best friend lavanya always tried to flirt with him n that's the advantage he will take n find if khushi is jealous of him ignoring her n giving importance to lavanya.

Arnav walked towards the two friends who were smilingly chatting n gossiping about something when arnav came.

"Hey arnav, what's up?" lavanya asked as soon as she saw arnav there.

"I am gr8 la, how are you?" arnav said giving half hug to lavanya, at which lavanya was shocked.

Arnav has never hugged her or called her la, he has always maintained distance while she always wanted to get close.

Khushi saw arnav hugging lavanya, her heart stooped down at this, her smile fainted while she also noticed arnav's proximity with la.

"Arnav, you have never called me La?" lavanya said, surprisingly n stood blushing.

"There is always a first time la" arnav said, now totally ignoring khushi who stood there aside as if she was completely invisible.

Everyone said that arnav was a big flirt, he couldn't stick to one girl, but khushi always ignored the warnings n got up close with arnav. She never knew that he will be so rude to ignore her completely. He liked him but never thought of him as anything more than friends but then again she couldn't understand the pain n something burning in her chest seeing arnav so close with lavanya, her best friend.

"What is wrong with me?" khushi said it loudly without thinking.

"Nothing dear, you n your makeup seems fine. There is nothing wrong." Lavanya said, clearly misunderstanding her statement.

Arnav saw the flushed face of khushi n how she was so restless seeing him with lavanya n he really had a big smile when he heard khushi actually murmuring her thoughts loud.

Arnav saw akash, sitting n watching the whole scenario from a distance. Akash smiled n shaked his head in agreement regarding how the whole thing was going.

"Arnav, have you completed the practical of sociology?" khushi finally asked, not bearing the smirks n touches he was giving lavanya.

"Hmmm, did you say something?" arnav said totally showing his disinterest in khushi's talk.

"I said'." Khushi was interrupted before she could complete her sentence by shimon, another bimbo, who was desperate to do anything for the attention of arnav.

"Hey arnav, baby, will you have a coffee with me?" shimon asked while khushi was fuming with anger at how she was totally cut off for talking with him.

"No, he is going with me." Lavanya said cutting shimon off n giving her a dirty stare.

"It's ok girls, actually, I am busy today, have football match with akash so, I will have coffee with you all, some other time." Arnav said n left the girls giving half hug to lavanya as well as shimon, totally ignoring khushi n leaving her confused, jealous n fuming.

"So, what do you think, is she interested?" arnav said with a smirk n winking towards akash.

Akash n arnav hugged each other n now arnav was pretty sure that khushi will come to a coffee date if he asks her.
