Thanks to those who commented and praised my work 😃 It encourages me to write more 😃

CHAPTER 3

Arnav moved closer to Khushi. "You know why asked that, right? You are very cold" He couldn't help saying that. He didn't want her to have any wrong impression on him. Why do I care about what she wil think about me? And why the heck I am too worried about her? I just met her! And look at me now! I am behaving as if I am her husband. Arnav gulped at that thought. He shook his head.

"Yeah I know" He felt a little change in her tone.Guess she was a little bit shy. He wrapped his arms around her. He tighten his hold. She ran her hands on his back. He hid his face in her hair. Gosh! She smells so good! He thought. Khushi was completely lost at his touch. She felt so good. She felt safe. She wasn't afraid of the dark anymore.

In a moment Khushi realized her position and jerked back. Arnav who has his eyes closed, opened them in surprise. Both felt very embarrassed. What the heck were they doing? "Umm.. I was actually' Main .. Main tumhe garam karne ki koshish kar raha tha." Arnav didn't even know what he just said. "What" He said to himself. "Excuse me?" Khushi couldn't get what he just said. "Who.. I was saying that I was just trying to make you feel warm. You know na?" He asked with an innocent voice. Khushi smiled.

"Yeah I know" Khushi smiled. But she didn't! She doesn't know what just happened to her. How the hell was she behaving? Running her hands on his back. Touching him like that. She felt hell embarrassed. Suddenly it started lightening. And there came a loud thunder. A really loud one. Khushi screamed and hugged Arnav tightly. When the thundering stopped, she looked at him. "Its okay" He understood what she wanted to say. She straightened herself.

"So tell me about you" Arnav spoke. At first she looked at him and then said. "My name is Khushi, Khushi Gupta. I'm 23 and you?" She came back to her bubbly mood again. He liked it. "My name you know obviously" He smirked at her. She blushed. "And I am 27" He smiled. "You know I used to think very bad about you. I thought you are very arrogant and ruthless!" She said. "And now what do you think?" He was eager to know what she think about him now.

"You are very good human being. You could have escaped yourself but you saved me from them. I mean there were other people too. You could have saved one of them too." She spoke with a smile on her face. "Even I am wondering that" He muttered under his breath. "Did you say something?" She asked. "No.. I mean yeah! What do you think? I am super hero?" He raised his eyebrow. She giggled. "No I didn't meant that. But you are not less than a super hero for me" She said.

"Now I know whats the problem in your office!" She said. "What?" He asked. "Your personal secretary! Yes! She is the problem! She doesn't even let me enter you cabin. Sir is busy " she mimicked her tone. Pagal! He muttered. "So do you think I should fire her?" He asked holding back a chuckle. "Yes!" She said seriously. "Okay then.. Why don't you become my personal secretary?" He gave her an offer. "Not bad!" She said.

The ray of sunlight woke him up. The first thing he noticed was Khushi lying beside him. She was almost on top of him. He hands were clutching the collar of his shirt. He head buried in his neck. She felt her open her eyes. "Good morning" He said. She yawned at first and then quickly got up. "Its morning! Finally!" She smiled at him.

She froze. Her eyes wide opened. She was looking as if she is gonna explode any moment. "Khushi what happened?" He asked. "Arnav.." Tears started rolling down her cheeks. Arnav went to her quickly. He extended his hand to hold her. "Stay away! Don't touch me! "She almost screamed at him. Arnav looked at her. "What?" He was really surprised at the quick change in her behavior.

I thought to post a long update but short update because I got less comments 🤔 buddy me for PMs! Hope to see more comments..
