Chapter 7

Khushi stood by the window gazing at the dark sky. Still it was raining heavily. The thoughts of Arnav was was not letting her sleep. His questions, his dares. Dares! Now she is afraid at the thought of dares!

*Flashback*

"Its you!" Arnav said cheerfully. Even he couldn't believe he was actually loving this game. "Truth". Khushi said. Arnav looked at her wickedly. "You can't take truth twice. Dare is left!" Khushi hesitated to answer but didn't want to let him know she is nervous. "No! Where did you read about that rule?"

"You afraid of my dares?"

"Me and afraid? No never!"

"Then why don't you prove it?"

"I don't need to prove anything!"

"That's not an excuse! Admit that you are afraid!"

"Fine! I'll take dare!"

*End of flashback*

Khushi kept her hand on her chest and she could feel her rapid heart beat. "He doesn't treat me like an employee. And neither I feel like he is my boss. Why is that?" A sweet smile appeared on her face. He makes her feel special. She knew it.

*Flashback*

"Okay so I dare you to hug me". Wait! What did he just say? Khushi gasped. "What?". Khushi asked. "Umm.. Don't take me wrong okay.. I just said it for fun. I know you can't do that. Wait let me think some other dare for you". Arnav knew she wouldn't like him saying that about her. "No! I can do that! Not afraid at all!" Arnav couldn't help but chuckled. He loved her innocence. But why was he doing this? Dared her to hug him! Whats wrong with him? He thought.

Khushi slowly got up and came near Arnav. She looked into his eyes and blushed. He gulped seeing her blush. He stood up. She slowly threw her arms around him and hugged him.

*End of flashback*

"Ma'am. Here is your dinner". The waiter came and placed the tray on the table and went.

Arnav sat on the bed holding his laptop. He couldn't stop thinking about Khushi. What was happening to him. And what happened a few minutes before was bothering him so much. Why was it? He thought. It started thundering. Loud!

*Flashback*

Khushi wrapped her arms around his neck. Arnav hesitated to touch her. It wasn't right. He shouldn't have dared her to do this. Just then they heard a loud thunder. Khushi tightened her hug. She hid her face in the side of his neck. Arnav didn't know when his hands travelled to her waist and hugged her more tightly. He started stroking her back lightly. They both were completely lost. Lost.

They were brought back to senses when they heard a knock at the door. Khushi opened her eyes and realized her position. She quickly went back. Arnav looked at her flushed face. Both felt awkward.

*End of flashback*

"Damn it! What have I done!" Arnav knew Khushi didn't like it. Arnav ran his hands through his hair. He hoped if Khushi would behave the same with him like she did before. But how can she? Its hell awkward for an employee to hug her boss like that! Dammit! "And that bloody song made it more awkward!"

Khushi sat on the couch and turned on the TV. She switched to a music channel. The song #JaaneKyun was being played. She loved that song! Amir and Preity looked fabulous in it! Dil Chahta Hai is one of Khushi's favorite film and this song is from that movie. She gave a yawn when the song ended. And then the next song made her blush.

*Flashback*

Arnav went to open the door. Khushi started fixing her hair which was messed. She remembered how Arnav's hands went through it. She heard Arnav close the door. And to reduce the awkwardness she thought she will turn on the TV so that they both will probably forget about what just happened. She turned on the TV. "Zara zara touch me touch me.. Zara zara kiss me kiss me". Khushi's mouth dropped wide opened. Arnav tried to hold back his chuckle.

Khushi changed the channel. Star Plus. Gosh! Arnav and Khushi kiss scene! Khushi was about to change the channel when Arnav spoke. "Don't worry they won't kiss. Its always incomplete". Khushi was about to change when she saw Laxmi come in ArShi's room. "Laxmi too?" Khushi felt angry. "Told ya". Arnav chuckled.

"I can't believe we have same names!" Khushi laughed. "Exactly! Our hug was compl.." Dammit! Did he have to say that? Remind her of that? Damn! "Umm.. Arnav I am feeling a little bit sleepy. See you later. Bye."

*End of Flashback*

Khushi opened her eyes as the sunlight hit her face. She got up and yawned. "Wow! Thank God the weather is okay!" She said looking at the sky through the window. She got up and went to the bathroom.

Both Arnav and Khushi arrived at Mumbai. "Khushi I'll drop you at your house. It's a bit late so you don't have to come to office". Khushi nodded and then they both drove to Khushi's house. Arnav parked his car near her house.

They both got out from the car. Khushi turned to say good bye to Arnav but was stopped by a person who hugged her suddenly. Khushi pushed him away and was surprised to see him. "Nehal! You scared me!" Khushi said hitting his chest. "Nehal?" Arnav couldn't stop himself from asking her who was he. And the way he hugged her. It made him a little annoyed. "Arnav this is Nehal my friend and Nehal this is Arnav. My..Bb" Khushi was stopped by Arnav. "Her boss and friend too". He smiled at her. Khushi smiled back.

"So Arnav! How are you?" Nehal asked shaking hands with him. "I'm good". Arnav smiled. "Okay Khushi I have to go. Bye." Khushi smiled. "Bye". He said looking at Nehal. Khushi looked him as got in the car and drove off. Nehal turned back at Khushi. "I have a huge surprise for you".

Arnav entered his house hoping his Di and jeeju won't be there. Because he knew if they were there they won't leave a chance to tease him. He breathed in relief when he saw no one in home. He quickly started to climb the stairs. "Oh so you have finally arrived!" He shut his eyes as he heard his Di's voice. "I'm dead!" He muttered. He turned back and saw his jeeju and Di, both smiling or probably laughing at him.

"Chote! I was so scared! You know". She said giggling. "Di please!" Arnav didn't come down instead stood where he was. "What please? Whole night her chote was missing and that too with a girl and you expect her to be calm?" Rohit chuckled. "Okay! I'm going! You two keep on dreaming!" Arnav went straight to his room.

"He won't accept it so soon!" Anjali said to her husband. He nodded. "But we will make him accept it".

Okay I know there are a lot of flashbacks in this chapter. I don't mind if you name this chapter "flashback chapter"😆

I know that hug scene sucks. I really don't know how to describe a romantic scene😛
