"Great!"
Arnav stood up, searching his pockets for something. He pulled out some sort of card.
"Here," He handed the card to Khushi as he explained with a smirk, "This is just some extra benefits."
Khushi looked down to see a credit card and then looked back up at Arnav with a smile.
"Okay, I have to go to a meeting right now. Um, why don't you do some shopping until then? We have a business dinner to attend tonight." Arnav said as he pulled out his phone and started walking out.
Khushi immediately shot up from the sofa, "Wait! When are you going to talk to Mr. Bal?"
"I have already spoken to Mohit Bal and your meeting has already been fixed." Arnav turned back to look at her with a smirk.
"So... This means you knew I was going to say yes then?" Khushi glared at him.
"Hmm, I wasn't going to let you go without getting a yes out of you." He winked at her, shocking her.
"You're very lucky." Khushi said sticking her chin up as Arnav silently questioned her, "If you were even a tiny bit bad then I would have never agreed."
Arnav smiled as she laughed freely, "Thank god, at least you didn't call me stone-hearted this time!"
And with that Arnav walked out without looking back, but if he would have he would have seen an overexcited Khushi doing a celebratory bhangra as she mentally screamed 'Yes!'
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Khushi trudged her way back into the presidential suite, dropping all her bags she plopped onto the couch with a huge sigh.
She closed her eyes, hoping to get in a short nap when her phone buzzed all of a sudden.
"Payal?!" She shrieked happily before answering the call.
"Hey! Where have you been?" Payal asked from the other side.
"Heavennn" Khushi sighed contently as she fell back into the sofa.
"Aye! No time for fun and jokes!" Payal complained.
"I'm not kidding! Payal, I seriously feel like I'm heaven!" Khushi sat up once again, "You won't believe what happened with me!"
"At first I thought I got myself stuck into the worst situation! But my Devi Maiyya made it all right! You know, I met this guy, Arnav..."
And with that Khushi told her best friend, Payal, in keen detailed everything that happened since she came to Mumbai.
Payal's smiled suddenly dropped when something occurred to her, "But Khush, what will I say to everyone here?"
"Arey! Say that things got delayed at the shoot. Please Payal! Just manage for the next few days! Please!" Khushi begged, "You're my best friend, na?"
"Okay! Okay, I'll see what I can do. Just take care of yourself okay?" Payal agreed while also extracting her own promise.
"Promise! But I have to go get ready now! Okay, bye!"

Arnav entered the hotel just like he left, on his phone.
"Good evening, Mr. Raizada." The manager greeted him.
"Good evening."
"How was your day, sir?"
"Good."
"Miss Khushi is waiting for you in the lounge sir."
"Okay, thank you." And with that Arnav walked off towards the lounge, his eyes searching for Khushi.
He spotted a pianist, who kept looking back over his shoulders frequently.
He followed his gaze to find Khushi staring back dreamily, completely lost in the song.
She looked beautiful in the elegant teal Grecian drape dress.
Breathtaking, was the only thought that went through his mind.
He walked over to her, and she immediately stood up noticing him.
"You're late." She said looking away.
"Sorry. Mumbai traffic."
"Hmm, alright." She smiled, "So how do I look?"
"Simply gorgeous." He said with a wink causing Khushi to giggling pleasantly. "Really, Khushi, I didn't know that you were this beautiful."
"Thank you! Now tell me, where are we going?"
"Mirza restaurant. Mumbai's best restaurant." He answered watching Khushi whose eyes brightened up. "So shall we?"
And with that they made their way to the car, which drove them to the restaurant.
"Wow!" Khushi whispered, "Such a beautiful restaurant."
Arnav smiled agreement as he held the door open for her, always a gentleman.
"Sir? Mr. Singhania is waiting for you." The waiter said, directing them towards a table.
Two men who were engrossed in conversation suddenly stood up.
"Hello, Mr. Raizada!" Mr. Singhania greeted him.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Singhania" Arnav said as they shook hands.
"This," Mr. Singhania pointed to the man next to him. "Is my brother, Dev Singhania."
"Nice to meet you Dev." Arnav as well gestured to Khushi, "This is friend, Khushi Gupta.
"Hello." Khushi sweetly said as she shook hands with each of them in turn. "Hi."
Mr. Singhania gestured for everyone to take their seats. "Mr. Raizada, there's a special menu for you, hope you like it."
"We'll see." Arnav smiled in response. A few moments later their dinner was served, the Singhania brothers and Arnav picked up their forks and began, but Khushi's fork hovered over her plate as she stared down at the foreign food in front of her, "What's the matter? Is everything okay Khushi?" Arnav asked when he noticed her hesitation.
"So let's get to the point, Mr. Raizada." Mr. Singhania said, setting his fork down. "It has come to my attention that you wish to take over my company."
Arnav set down his drink before answering in very business-like tone, "Yes, that is exactly what I wish to do."
"And I have also heard that you are already a 15% shareholder in our company and that in the upcoming days you are going to formally bid for a majority of the shares?"
"Hmm, good. You seem to have the right information." Arnav smirked leaning back in his chair.
"Mr. Raizada, I have created M&D Singhania Industries with my own sweat and blood. I know the name of every employee by heart. And if you are thinking about taking my company and selling it off piece by piece in the market then think again because there are no chances of me letting that happen."
Before Arnav could respond, his cell phone buzzed in his pocket. "Excuse me' Aman I'm busy, I'll call you back later."
Waiters came and replaced their dishes with the second course; once again Khushi stared at the dish in front of her doubtfully earning her another questioning from Arnav, which she put off politely.
Arnav turned back to Mr. Singhania, his lips set in a frown, "What do you want Mr. Singhania?"
"I want to buy back my company's shares from you. State your price." Said Mr. Singhania returning Arnav's frown.
Arnav smirked again, "Well I'm in no mood to resell your shares back to you, but if you wish to my mood then' double the price of what I bought your shares for. My question is, does your company have any money in the first place?"
"Don't worry about money, Mr. Raizada, but forget about getting double the price you bought the shares for. We'll give you 10% profit in return for our shares. And we will'"
"Mr. Singhania, I've come here to buy not sell." Arnav interrupted.
"Hmm, you seem to have a lot of courage."
"No, not courage. Power, Mr. Singhania, money power."
"I know all about your power, Mr. Raizada. Whatever company you buy vanishes in a few days' times. And its employees become jobless, leaving their families scrambling to make ends meet. That's what you're all about Mr. Raizada." Mr. Singhania shot back.
"Whatever I do, Mr. Singhania, I do it within the limits of law. It's business and it's all legal."
"It's not about legal or illegal, Mr. Raizada. It's about how your nasty mind! You take advantages of people's helplessness and then you ruin them and I will NOT let you do that to me."
"Mr. Singhania, this company is no longer yours. It is in the hands of the government and currently going through financial problems. I've already spent enough time on this company and I will claim it no matter what. So, don't try and fight a fight you can't win, Mr. Singhania." Arnav had had enough of this cat and dog fight.
"That's it! This meeting is over. Excuse me, Ms. Gupta. Let's go Dev." Mr. Singhania got up, and just stormed out.
Arnav smiled to himself as he looked over at Khushi, "And that, is how you play the game."
Khushi, who had been sitting quietly and just looking back and forth between the two, was too shocked to even move for a second. She had never seen this ruthless side of Arnav, but instead of scaring her it irked her.
Khushi refused to look at him a few second before meeting him eye for eye, "Taking one man's, entire life's earning and burying it in the dirt, what type of game is this?"
Arnav could hear the mocking sarcasm in her voice as he took in her words, and for the first time in his life, Arnav Singh Raizada gave a second thought to his actions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back at the hotel in his presidential suite, Arnav sat on the barstool swirling the drinking in his hand and staring into it, seeing nothing.
Khushi walked over to him sensing his distress, "What's on your mind?"
"Khushi, I want to take over Elite no matter what."
Khushi sighed in response, "Why are you always thinking about profit and loss? There are more important things in life other than money."
"Khushi, if I thought like that then I wouldn't be where I am today." Arnav said finally looking up at her.
"But Mr. Singhania and his brother are both nice people!"
"It's not about nice or not nice, Khushi. It's about business and you should never allow your emotions into business." Arnav turned back to his drink, gulping it down in one go.
Khushi's soft laugh retrieved his attention, "Emotions will always be in business because in business there are humans beings, not just profit, loss, and companies. And where there are humans there will be emotions."
"I don't have time to think about all these useless things, Khushi."
"No! You don't have time for anything Arnav. You're so busy that you don't have time to even think about what others are feeling, what they're thinking."
And not for the first time Arnav was left speechless, "It's impossible to win against you Khushi."
Khushi just shrugged in response, "Anyways, enough of this business-business. I'm hungry!"
"Didn't you eat at the restaurant?" Arnav asked, concerned.
"No. The food there was too fancy for me, not my kind of food." Khushi made a face, indicating her dislike for the tasteless food.
Arnav chuckled before holding out the hotel phone for her, "Here, order room service."
"You order for me! If they hear your voice they'll bring the food extra fast!" Khushi exclaimed, earning another chuckle from Arnav.
"Okay, okay." Arnav agreed. "What will you like?"
"Yay!" Khushi cried before listing off an assortment of dishes. Arnav stared at her amused and when she finished her order he asked with a smirk, "Are you sure that's enough?"
"No, but it'll have to do for now!" Khushi said with a pout causing Arnav to laugh out loud. "Okay, so I'll change and just be back."
And with that Khushi walked off as Arnav stared back at her, a fond smile gracing his lips.
