SS: You're My Rajkumar
Khushi tapped her foot angrily as she watched Akash enter the cafe and leisurely take his seat across from her.
"So, why'd you call me here?" He asked as if he could care less.
"WHY!?" Khushi shrieked, attracting unwanted attention.
Akash just stared back as Khushi composed herself, taking a few deep breaths.
"Why? I should be the one asking YOU that. What in the world made you think that I would...would...I'm not one of those girls. And that leech, Shyam Jha! Did what does he think? That I would..."
Khushi even bring herself to say it, disgust and anger leaked from her with every word. Looking away, Khushi shut her eyes trying to forget that man.
"Listen, Khushi, this isn't your Lucknow, it's Mumbai. And here can't do anything without money so your going have to do something for money aren't you?"
Khushi stared at Akash unbelievingly when he looked at her and just shrugged as if what he was asking her to do was no be deal.
Unable to hold it any longer, Khushi burst, "I came her to be a model! Not some call girl or something!"
But just then again Akash was right, this was Mumbai and she would need money if she wanted to make it here. Khushi took a deep breath before continuing,
"Okay. I know I need money, but that doesn't me I have to stoop so low. I'll get a job, but I'm not going to..."
Khushi trailed off as Akash sat across from her sniggering behind her palm. After he calmed down he gave Khushi an incredulous look, which she met with a confused one.
"Job? Finding a job in Mumbai is like finding a piece of hay in a needle stack. Next to impossible."
"What am I going to do then? I came here, lying to parents that I was in Delhi because you promised to make me a model...I trusted you! You have to help me!"
Khushi was desperate, she couldn't go back, not now.
"Okay, okay. Let me think...Hmm, well I have a friend coming in from America to do some business here." Khushi just stared in confusion and Akash went on to explain, "He's going to be here for a couple of days. All you have to do is spend some think with him."
"But--" Khushi began to protest.
"Look, that's the most I can do" Akash cut her off, reaching into his pocket his pulled out a pen and wrote something on a napkin, handing it to her.
"Be at the Trident by 7 tonight and just meet him. I want the 2,000 I spent to get you that portfolio photo shoot back, one way or another and soon." Akash said to her before turning around and leaving the cafe, not even sparing her a backwards glance.
She watched as he pulled out his phone and began chatting with someone enthusiastically after practically telling her it was do or die situation with her dreams of becoming a model.

"We have safely landed, Sir." The pilot came over the intercom, but he didn't move an inch and continued going through the file in his hands.
The incessant ringing of his phone was finally getting to him, making him finally put down his file and answer the call.
"Arnav Singh Raizada speaking." His deep voice laced with confidence despite his annoyance.
"Arnav! What's up man?" Came Akash's too loud voice from the other end.
"Never been better" Arnav muttered in response, holding the phone away from his ear this time.
"Had a fight with Lavanya again before coming here, huh?"
"I don't even know why I tolerate her, let alone why I'm with her."
"Hey! Forget her man! I have a surprise waiting for you at your hotel." Akash's words hinted more than enough to Arnav.
"Akash." His tone warning, "I don't want--"
Arnav was cut off, any other time he would have been pissed to no ends, but this was his childhood friend and he had to control himself.
"Come on, man! Live a little!" Akash whined and Arnav grunted in response.
"Okay, she'll be there by 7. Her name's Khushi and she's a beauty." And with that Akash hung up before Arnav could even open his mouth.

Two people sighed simultaneously around the world.
One in defeat.
One in accpetance.
