CHAPTER 9
The meeting went along swimmingly and the deal was made of course that annoying man akshay had tried to hug khushi with the excuse in mind that it was ' only a celebratory hug ' but of course khushi being absolutely disgusted , side stepped him and banged into a rock hard figure , her hands went immediately to rest on his shoulders and his arms around her waist.
She felt tingles on her skin and knew that only one person could cause that affect on her : arnav . She looked up and her honey colored eyes met with his molten brown ones , his eyes seemed to reflect the affection he held for her ,pure and untainted , they looked into each others eyes for what seemed like centuries but in reality was only seconds , they were brought out of their reverie by akshay who said
"so khushi i think we should go for a celebratory dinner now , what do you think "
Arnavs fists clenched in anger and his jaw clenched at the thought of his khushi being out with another man, khushi rolled her eyes , utterly annoyed and replied coldly saying
"im sorry but i already have plans"
Akshay turned around dejected and left the room , arnav smiled and held his arm out for khushi and said in a sexy voice
"Shall we ?"
she looped her arm around his and they left the building arm in arm toward the restaurant
They reached the restaurant and sat at a table , they talked while they browsed through the menu , arnav asked khushi
"so um , how was your first day at work ??"
Khushi replied saying
" well it was fine , except akshay kind of pissed me off by constantly flirting with me "
Arnav smiled inwardly at the fact that khushi didn't like it when akshay flirted her because he himself didn't like it when people flirted with her , he was thhe only one who could , he replied saying
"yeah i get akshay is a flirt , i noticed it too and i didn't like it at all "
khushi said
" well aren't we protective ? i think its really cute when your protective "
and she blushed a pretty hue of crimson as arnav grinned a husge grin
The two were so busy talking to each other that they did not notice arnav's sister anjali and her husband shyam walk into the restaurant , but they noticed arnav and khushi. They sat down on the table and anjali said
"look at that !! who's arnav with ?? she's pretty , i wonder if he likes her , lets go talk to them"
shyam quickly trapped his wife's arm and prevented her from going there he said
" please rani sahiba , leave them alone , they look like they are having a good time , even arnav is laughing he hasn't laughed in years "
anjali pouted and said
"ohh fine , but we are going to talk to them when they are leaving "
Anjali and shyam were both shocked out of their wits when they saw arnav take the 'mystery girl's' hand in his and look deep into her eyes with love and say something serious , ohh how they wish they knew , shyam had to coax anjali not to jump up and run there when that happened
As shyam convinced his wife not to go there arnav decided to express his feelings to khushi and make their relationship exclusive , he had never felt so right about anything before , he took her hand in his and said
"khushi , i know this is really soon and this is only our second date , but i feel this connection between us and i really like you , i think that this could really go somewhere , so would you do me the honors of being my girlfriend ?"
He shut his eyes in anticipation , but he felt his breath hitch when khushis hand left his , but he soon felt it on his have face followed by a pair of soft lips kissing his cheek he opened his eyes to look at khushi while she said
"i really like you too arnav and i would love to be your girlfriend"
she blushed while arnavs face broke out into a huge smile
His heart began doing backflips in joy , he had just got the reply he wanted she agreed to be his girlfriend : ha !! in your face akshay now she's mine , she was just amazing , beautiful , smart , funny original , sexy and now she was his girlfriend , she was perfect all that he could here ask for
Khushi thought wow !! he actually asked me to be his girlfriend , he's like to most amazing guy ever , handsome , loving , chivalrous , protecting , sexy and sooo much more , he was like the full package , and she loved everything about him and now she was his girlfriend , could her life get any better she thought ; NO , she was on top of the world and little did she know that he was ecstatic as well
Anjali and shyam looked on shocked , anjali turned towards shyam and said
"did you see that ?? she kissed him and he smiled !!! WOW !! who is she ?? i wonder how he met her ? do you think she's a colleague ?? i hope he really likes her "
shyam looked at her still chewing his chicken , he swallowed and and said
"My god rani sahiba , one question at a time , breathe , and don't you think arnav is too old to have you meddling in his personal life ?"
Anjali looked at her husband shocked and said
"NO !! He's my little brother , my chotte , how can i not ?"
shyam gave her an exasperated look and said
"well alright then , but it looks like they're leaving "
Anjali turned and saw arnav and khushi leaving their table and said to shyam
" i have to know who she is !"
and got up and began to walk toward khushi and arnav a billion questions in her head
Shyam looked on at his wife's retreating back, he was sure that she was insane , her brother did not need help in his love life , but who could convince her once she had made up her mind , he watched as she walked towards them : his wife : GOD HE LOVED HER
