It was late almost midnight when the Vadhera's headed over to the guest house for the night. Manvi and the rest of the Chaudhry's where escorting all of them towards the gate from where they would cross the road to the guest house.

The grown ups where standing by the gate, making plans for tomorrow, when the wedding preps would begin in full swing starting with decorating the houses. Manvi was standing with Jeevika Di and Khushi Bhabhi about 10 feet away from the grown ups, Bhaiya, Viren Jiju and Virat, where standing discussing business a few away from them towards her right, Di was explaining the details on her dress to Bhabhi, when a quick movement on the ground near the guys caught Manvi's attention. Her eyes widened seeing that it indeed was a cockroach, a hugeee one at that, she unknowingly shivered, just then she watched it head towards the guys, nd she looked up at Bhaiya, who kept looking from her to the cockroach and back.

Virat was trying to figure out what Arnav was looking at back and forth, looking at the ground he spotted the cockroach, and looking towards Arnav again he saw him look back and forth at the insect and then at Manvi, who had a horrified expression on her face, Virat chuckled seeing her so scared of a small insect, her expression was soo adorable. He heard Manvi whine just then..

"Noooh" Manvi let out a small whine, knowing her brother very well..and just then Bhaiya gave her a smirk, reached into his pocket to grab his handkerchief.

"Bhaiyaaa Nooo, please" Manvii whined to him, scared of what her brother would do with the insect in his devil hands, right then he reached down and grabbed the cockroach into the handkerchief..! :/

"Mannu, meri pyari behna, kaise hain tu..?? Bhaiya koh hug nahin karegii..?", Bhaiya said to her, with a wide grin on his face and holding out the handkerchief with the cockroach in it up towards her and started moving towards her.

"Bhaiiiyaaa, nahinnn naaa", Manvi whined as she began stepping backwards away from her evil brother, now all the grown ups had turned towards them to see what the commotion was about.

"Haan na Maanuu..", he said as she made a dash towards her.

Virat chuckled and smiled as he saw her make a run towards Shashank Uncle who stood by the gates with all the other grown ups, screaming at the top of her lungs and Arnav chasing her from behind. He couldn't help but take in her beauty and childish cuteness as she kept dodging behind all the grown ups and screamed for each to save her.

Manvi was lost, where to go now..?? None of the grown ups where helping her, all just kept laughing as Bhaiya torchered her with the stupid cockroach! Knowing Di wouldn't be of any help or Bhabhi, she made a run for Virat who was standing watching them with his hands on his hips, as she stepped behind him, she automatically placed her hands against his back, and a current went through her body. He looked over his shoulder at her, locking her eyes with his, and she felt herself go warm and tingly all over and she couldn't help but blush, seeing that he smirked and she tore her eyes away from him, still blushing. Looking up she saw Arnav Bhaiya still heading towards her, slowly this time with the cockroach in hand. Shivering in fear, she clutched Virats shirt in both hands as she molded her whole body to his and buried her forehead into his back, her eyes closed shut in fear.

Virat stifled a hiss, as she molded herself to him in fear, she didn't realize what she was doing, but it didn't make it any easier for him to stop himself from turning around and pulling her into his arms. Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath and opened them again, Arnav was almost close to them now. Just then he heard small muffles from behind him repeatedly saying "Do something, pleaseee, don't let Bhaiya come near me with that thing, pleaseee" as her warm breath blew on his back, making his heart race. Hearing and seeing her fear towards the insect, even if it only was just an insect, he couldn't let Arnav get close to her with that thing, he didn't want to lose her trust, which she was giving him right now…looking around for a distraction for Arnav, his eyes fell on his little sister Khushi, who was playing around with her bandage that she had tied after hitting her arm on the door and scraping it with a nail, and an idea popped in his head.

"Khushiii, teri choot abb kaise hain..?? Daard tho nahin ho raha na..??", he called.

"Nahin Bhaiya, teek hain, bas subah koh thora hua tha, abb teek hain.." Khushi answered, a little confused why he asked right then, as it had been a while since morning when she had hit it.

Virat watched Arnav's expression change from playful to worried in seconds after hearing their exchange, and dropping the handkerchief in worry, he practically ran to Khushi and demanded to know the what, why, how, and where of her wound as he examined her arm. Even the grownups and Bhaiya Bhabhi hurried to her Khushi's side, moving their attention from him and Manvi to Khushi.

Seeing that she was still holding herself molded to him, Virat realized she probably didn't know that Arnav had stopped messing with her and was busy worrying over Khushi. "Manvii..??", he called behind him.

"Manvii…?? Arnav dropped his handkerchief and is busy worrying over Khushi right now…no need to be scared now..", he called to her softly as she still hadn't loosened her hold on him.

"Saach..?", she asked, letting his shirt fall out of her fists but kept her hands and body molded to him.

"Saachhh", he replied calmly, turning to face her now, and taking a hold of her hands in his.

(Shruti was confused seeing Kadhambhari, staring off across and behind Arnav and smiling to herself. Decideing to look over and see what Kadhambhari was smiling about, Shruti tipped her head, and saw her daughter..with Virat and that to so openly and comfortably, she quickly nudged Pinky Bhabhi who was next to her and nodded her head towards Virat and Manvi, so she could also access the situation..Pinky gave her a head nod, indicating they would discuss this later, and they turned their attention back to Khushi and the others for now..)

Manvi opened her eyes slowly, which where still closed tightly when he had taken a hold of her hands, the first thing she looked for was the white handkerchief, and indeed it lay on the ground a few feet away, forgotten, looking to the side she saw Bhaiya caught up in worrying over Bhabhi's wound.

"Wheewww, Thank you!", she said to Virat as she turned back towards him.

Her eyes locked with his, and she saw them go a little dark... only then did she rethink of what she had done, and relived how she had clung to him out of fear and had molded herself to him. Turning a crimson red, she looked away blushingly.

"Virattt chaalo!", they heard Jeevika Di call him, as everyone had finished fussing over Bhabhi and the Vadhera's where all heading out of the gate, the Chaudhry's watching them.

"Jii ayyaa", he called to them. Letting go of Manvi's hands which where still in his, he smiled and whispered a quick good night to her before tearing his eyes away from her and following the others out.

Manvi stood there, watching them all head out. Her heartbeat still racing due to the proximity she had unknowingly shared with Virat. Confused she mumbled a quick goodnight to everyone as they entered the hall again, and rushed to her room to think over things. Changing into a simple salwar suit for bed, she stepped onto her balcony, thinking back…'Maine aisa kaise kar liya..?? Main tho kissi ladkai kai pass jaane se bhi khatrathi hoon..or Virat kai seat, ek sakoon sa miltha hain, jaise Dil koh pata ho, uskai saat rehkai mujhe koyi pareshaani nahin hogi, or ajj bhi, ussi ne Bhaiya se mujhe bachaya…yeh kyun hain..?' Still confused over her own actions Manvi headed back inside and tucking herself into bed, fell asleep.

There Shruti and Pinky, both couldn't sleep, rethinking on what they had seen, could it be possible..Manvi and Virat..??

Next day..9am, Chaudhry Mansion, Kitchen

"Manvii, yeh le, or haan ek bar pir check kar lehna, kuch reg na gaiya ho..!", Ma said to her handing her a plate of paratas.

As Manvi set the plate down on the table, she double checked everything, as the Vadhera's would be joining them for breakfast, like every morning since Swamini Bua and Kadhambhari Chachi had come to do preps. Just then, she heard Di and Khushi speaking and giggling as they stepped in, the rest of the Vadhera's followed them in. As everyone greeted each other and took a seat at the table, Manvi couldn't help but notice that He wasn't there…trying not to think of it to much, she began serving the food with Di and Bhabhi's help. Once everyone was served, the three of them also took a seat and sat down to have breakfast.

Shruti watched her younger daughter heartlessly eat her breakfast, her daughter was usually the one who was happiest at family meals and especially with the Vadheras also joining them. But today her Manvi seemed aloof, as if her heart wasn't in it, and Shruti could only come up with one answer as to why this was so, the only person missing from breakfast…Virat.?! Deciding to ponder over this with Pinky Di later, Shruti turned towards the chit chat on the table currently and finished breakfast. After which the Vadheras went to monitor things at their place, while the decorators came over to get things done for the sangeet tomorrow.

Afternoon- 1pm

Manvi was helping Bhaiya, Jiju, Di, Ma, Badi Ma, Papa and Badai Papa monitor the house decoration that the decorators where doing. She was currently watching them put up yellow and orange flowers around the stairs, and pondering over why she was feeling so lost and empty today…what was it? She had been totally fine up until the moment she had realized that Virat wasn't joining them for breakfast, she had let it go thinking he might sleep till late, being tired from the previous days journey and all, but now it was past 1 in the afternoon, and he was still no where to be seen. This was something completely new to her, specially towards Virat, he was just a friend after all, then why this weird…beichainii..??

Shaking her head in frustration, she tried to block her mind from these thoughts and turned to monitor decor again. A few minutes later, she heard his screaming voice full of happiness and joy, screaming for Jiju, turning to face the door, Manvi couldn't help but smile, seeing the happiness in Virats eyes, on his face, and his actions as he ran, and hopped around the hall screaming for Jiju as he ran towards him where he stood by the stairs.

"Bhaiya..!!! I Got itt..!!! I Got it Bhaiya..!!", Virat screamed at his Bhaiya, standing in front of him, smiling like an idiot.

He watched Bhaiya's eyes widen with realization of what he was speaking about, and the next second his brother had enveloped him into the biggest of hugs.

"Virat, humko bhi tho batao..ithni khushi kis baat pe..? Aise kya milgaiya tumhe..?", Arnav chuckled at him.

"Sorry, I'm just sooo happy..!! I just bagged the biggest deal of my career with HP Limited, a company from UK, the project was my Dads dream..and now I'm going to fulfill it..i've been stuck in a online meeting with them since early morning..!", Virat told them, but although Arnav had asked him the question, it was Manvi, whom he was looking at and saying it to..

Shruti watched, as her daughters frown had turned into a smile at seeing Virat so happy, and then how her expression had changed to anger since he had been gayab all day so far, and as he revealed the reason why..she saw her daughters eyes fill with happiness..for him..she was so surprised at this change in her daughter…but any confusion she had had up until now, vanished…she knew what she had to do about it now.

"Ehh Bandhariyaa, smile hi karti raheingi ya mujhe kuch khaane koh bhi dai gi..?!? Subah se bhooka hoonn!", Virat whined to Manvi.

"Achaa..!? Or iss main meri kya gaalthi Chep..?!", She called back to him, annoyed.

"Tumhari gaalti...sabse baari gaalti tho yehi hain, kai you exist..!", he said to her with a wink.

Manvi glared at him in shock, and the next second began chasing him around the hall to beat him up. While the others laughed at their antics, again..
