**Part 36**

It was after Kriya received her badge with the scholarship certificate in her hands, she was standing as Lisa pulled out her car from the driving area.

Lisa : Kriya, get in. How much will you stand here waiting??

Kriya : He must be on his way. I messaged him.

Kriya said calmly. Lisa nodded her head in negation annoyed enough for being waiting there since a long time.

Lisa : If really he had any intentions of turning up, he would have come by now Kriya..

Kriya : Don't mistake me Lisa. I know he would be coming so please you may go.

Lisa : No way that Im going to leave you alone here n leave.

Lisa complained and Kriya argued on a non-ending clause.

Kriya : Just give me 5 mins..

She called him up again and got to hear a similar message, "The subscriber you are calling isn't lifting your call. Please hold on the line or try again later". She tried again a lot of times and ended up messaging him.

Kriya *:Should I go with 'LISA'??

She wrote her name in Bold Capital letters purposefully and it worked out after few mins as she hoped.

Rey*:No!!

She smiled knowingly. She knew Lisa is one among the names which exasperated him alot.

Kriya* :Then??

Rey*: Catch a cab n come straight to house.

Kriya* : NO VEHICLES AT LATE NIGHT!

Rey* after some gap *:Ok...Im coming.

He is coming, she announced cheerfully. Lisa gave her a You-win-again look. Lisa too got out of her car, switching off the engine and stood infront of her.

Lisa : But this time I don't think your fight will end that soon..

Kriya : It will!

Lisa challenged her back through a glance. This was a great deal between the two friends. Kriya n Lisa were the best of friends in the college. Lisa would knew everything happening from Kriya and she would herself share a quite amount of matter in return.Lisa was aware of their relationship after a lot many days and that too she got to know from Rey. She had a long time crush on Rey from the very first day he came to her college to pick up Kriya. She doubted the relationship that day and when she asked Kriya, she simply shoved it off saying they were friends.Kriya didn't feel much glad to open up her life to the new accustomed friend and when Lisa proposed him. Rey shrugged off with a clear answer that he n Kriya were in a committed relationship.Kriya herself admitted later. Lisa quite ignored Kriya for many days, and she was back on her cheerful mood yet again often challenging, "If Rey loves me then you should leave him to me". "Whatever", was the only word Kriya would say since she knew Rey loved her a lot and there was no scope for Lisa to even think. She would get jealous and annoyed when Lisa sticked to him purposefully but her frown would change immediately into a wide grin when his actions made clear that he wasn't interested in her in any aspects.That was one of the thing which made Kriya feel like meeting Lisa only in college and she couldn't deny so easily when Lisa would come to her home without informing.There was one more unanswered question since a while which Rey would ignore franctically to answer.Rey would demand Kriya to stay away from Lisa and visiting her house or family was strictly not allowed. She didn't want to fuss on that nor was she welcoming the unwanted argument on something which was meant was for her goodness.

Rey * : Where are you?!

Kriya*: Down road, parking area 17 to 25 and where are you?!

Lisa : I think he has come..

Kriya nodded in acceptance and then they could the lingering of shadow down their way in the dark night as moon glittered its cast pleasantly. He reached them in no seconds, his angelic face wearing an elegant smile which Kriya surely know it was fake.

Rey : Shall we??

Kriya : Hmm...bye Lisa.

Lisa : He is smiling..

She whispered slowly to Kriya, her face emoted the startled expression. Probably, she wasn't expecting the fight to end soon.

Kriya : Yeah..bye.

Kriya told in a glistened tone as she bid adieu to her friend and walked behind Rey. She was aware of Lisa's eyes as she strodded down the path and then she heard her car take off.

"This fight has to end very soon!", Kriya thought to herself. Kriya : Rey...I need to talk to you..

Rey : Not now..

She walked to the driver side and blocked him from opening the door by standing against it.

Kriya : Im sorry Rey...I didn't really intend to hurt you...now please end the cold war and be normal.

He awaited until she completed soothing her words to his ear.

Rey : If you are finished speaking..shal we go??

He sounded firm and she pouted in annoyance. Was he really unaffected of her little explaination?? She could possibly trace the way he apologized her when he was wrong but...but.."No, let me atleast try!", she said to herself. She moved a bit closer to cup his face, actually to kiss him to apologize which he usually did, she just wanted to give a try to chill him like he does. She smiled to herself when he didn't protest her closeness. Rey glanced at herself and their proximity and folded his hands across his chest giving a cold shrug. "Urghhh", Kriya groaned frustrated. She was annoyed when he was stern and cold, she let the ankle hit the car and moved to the other side door and sat in her place mumbling all the while in low audible tone. She glared from the corner of her eyes when Rey made himself comfortable in the driver seat. A silent drive she hissed in her inner breath. She couldn't bear even the thought of sitting without talking looking at the dark where she can see nothing. She spoke out.

Kriya : Rey...let me drive.

He shot her a glance as she picked the keys in his hands. No!! was all she heard for him. She was agitated, frustarted and annoyed not on him but on herself this time. If only she could've tried her tongue in the morning then this wouldn't have been happening. He diverted his gaze as he started the engine with the keys. Kriya leaned over him, resting her left hand on the upper front of the car where cd's r kept...she bent over his body, switched off the engine and took the keys for herself. She kept the keys into the pouch of her car door and blocked the way by sticking to the door. She stared at the dark night like nothing actually happened.

Rey : Kriya, don't be a kid...give me the keys.

Kriya : Let me drive then...

She said as she met up with his gaze. He nodded in negation as he moved towards her door. He had to support himself, he clutched the seat and bent over...the pouch was empty and Kriya was holding the keys in her hand tightly. He looked at her, they were really damn close and it did make an impact...he glimpsed into her eyes for a franctic second and holded her wrist pulling it to him. She was pale and was feeling pathetic at the way he was behaving...exactly like a stubborn! He sat back on his seat but his grip tightened more on her wrist making her whimper in pain n hurt. He loosened the hold but not completely...he struggled to open her digging fingers on the palm...she fighted with all her strength but at a point it was more hard to protest against his strength...she was losing the hold of the keys...she felt bad when he was doing that...when he was still so firm on him driving and her sitting silent. She felt low as the tears welled up in her eyes when she saw him only concentrated in getting the keys. It was actually because the fight seemed not to be ending soon. She opened up her palm for him...when she returned back her glance...she gave the keys and looked out shifting her gaze to the anonymous things around. Kriya, she heard him call her by name but she didn't peek back. She obviously didn't want to be a kid crying for nothing and especially infront of him. Kriya, listen...he said patting her arm with his hand, she choose to ignore it too. He yanked her by the arm and leaned closer and gave a peck on her cheek saying,

Rey : You can drive the car today...

He told her excitedly with an shrilling tone like he was granting her big wish. She laughed through her choked tears like a baby.

Rey : You are such a baby Kriya...

He mocked at her childish laughter. She broke her silence and turned facing him evidently and as demanding a reason for his mockery.

Rey: My baby ok...

Her smile widened into a grin and vanished slowly bringing on a pink hue on her cheeks. She narrowed her gaze lowering her head a faint smile over-ruling her lips again but his gaze was fixed on only her, the beauty beside him. He was sitting sidely. His eyes seemed to caress her blushing cheeks and she shuddered when his fingers stroked over them affectionately. He cupped her face with a hand and turned her to face him. The longing desire in his eyes made him feel him out of the world. He leaned in and crushed his lips on her already shivering lips. He took her lips in between and kissed her passionately which lasted only for a short time. He broke the kiss and held her face in his hands and crushed her head to his chest. Though that was an uncomfortable position, they enjoyed being closer. He kissed her hair gripping her tighter and she her smilened more. After sometime, he loosened the grip on her and she sat back normally and cosily on her seat.

The drive was silent and for a change, he was driving stealing her glances often by the front view mirror. When they reached the home, Kriya went to the room, freshened up slightly after getting of the dress, she came out wearing a loose top and shorts, her hair neatly held up with a hair clutcher. When she came back to the room, she found him sitting on the bed watching her gloomily as she came near him. She raked her fingers through his hair standing near. He looked up meeting her glances, he holded her by the waist and made her sit on his lap facing him. He pecked her cheek pulling the hair pin off, he brushed his fingers into her thick curls and he kissed her passionately biting her lips. They parted for a breath and he lowered her acrossed and positioned himself upon her and crushed his lips on her once more. She closed her eyes tasting beyond his lips. He brushed her face with his fingers and his lips lingered on the jawline and he went down planting kisses on her neck. She felt the goosebumps pass through her when he kissed her exploring her sensitive skin, he pulled the strap down the shoulder and kissed her smooth skin, his hand slid inside her top caressing her waist by the fingers, he kissed her neck and bit it moving his hand more up. He placed a sensual kiss and licked her throat, his hand fondled her curve and squeezed it, she moaned his name. His hands felt each and every bit of her curves, he nudged them with the fingers with his lips entertaining in her a deep breathtaking kiss. He pecked her forehead after the kiss and swifted down, he gave a short kiss on her lips and then along the cheek to the shoulder line. He moved down more and kissed her revealing skin on the chest his hands squeezed her curves again, shewhimpered in pleasure breathing hard. He lifted the top, she clutched his arm digging her nails into it. He leaned down and kissed her navel, he kissed all over the waist and his tongue rythmically swayed on her navel. She pulled him up and kissed him with all her strength. She bit his lips fiercefully while kissing him but he made a calm approach and slowed down the kiss and they kissed for a longer time and held back for a breath. He lied down on the body glaring at her and she too was looking at him. She dozed off after sometime safely in his arms, with her head rested on his chest.
