Taarey OS: Jealousy
"Rey and I can't be a couple because I already have a boyfriend." Taani said surprising everyone. Rey looked at her in shock. He couldn't put his finger on it but something was bothering him about what she said.
"What?" Rey asked along with all the other students gathered.
"What's his name?" One of the students asked, "Or are you just making this up to save yourself?"
"Look it's my personal life and I don't think as an AGS ya'll need to know about my personal life but I needed to clarify that there is nothing going on between Rey and I because there is someone else in my life." Taani said leaving the stage. Rey stood there shocked and surprised. He wanted to stop Taani at that moment and demand to know what his name was and that is what shocked him the most. Why was he reacting like this now? Why was she affecting him so much?
Taani looked back at Rey's confused face and bit her lip, "Sorry but I had to." she whispered to herself before leaving. She saw Swayam standing at the back of the crowd in anger and she knew that once she got home she was going to have to explain things to him.
She went to the fire escape like she always did when she wanted to be alone. A few minutes later her friend Shivam appeared.
"Taani do you know what people are saying now?" Shivam asked as he closed the door behind him.
"I know but it was the only way." Taani justified herself.
"They are still going to think you and Rey." Shivam started saying.
"What else can I do?" Taani asked him believing that she can confide in him.
"Until you give them a name they won't back off." Shivam said.
"Shivam, about that, I don't really have someone else in my life." Taani said truthfully, "I just wanted people to get off my back."
"Oh no what will you do Taani they ware going to need a name and you don't have one." Shivam said knowing she would ask for his help.
"Shivam I need your help will you pretend to be my boyfriend please?" Taani asked him.
Shivam smiled and said, "Sure Taani I'm your friend I'll do it." and he smiled to himself knowing he was going to get to both Swayam and Rey.
"My sister is being targeted in front of the entire school!" Swayam yelled in rehearsal hall angry at what had happened.
"I don't understand why didn't she tell anyone about her boyfriend?" Rey asked still not being able to digest that Taani had someone in her life.
"She's a girl she's not going to want to advertise it." Sharon said.
"But she's my sister she should have told me." Swayam said wanting to know.
"As GS I should have known," Rey started to say before he was cut off by his phone going off along with Swayam and Sharon's phones. They looked at their phone and gasped at what they saw.
"Taani and" Sharon started to say.
"Shivam." Both Rey and Swayam said in anger. They went to walk out the door but Sharon stopped them.
"Guys stop I hate Shivam as much as you do but this is not the right time. Swayam if you stop her now she will never tell you anything again. She'll hate you for breaking up her relationship." Sharon explained.
"Come on let's just go." Swayam said calming down.
Rey walked out to see Taani and Shivam walk hand in hand and his fist clenched. He saw shivam smile widely and he couldn't help but want to punch that smile off of his face. He looked at Taani and noticed something was off, she was smiling but it wasn't her real smile and for some reason that made him feel better.
Rey saw Shivam whisper something into Taani's ear and he saw Taani laugh and all he could think about is how he wanted to be the one to make her laugh. Rey looked at Taani and she looked back at him.
Taani saw Rey looking at her and she sent a small smile to him and continued to walk on with Shivam, Sorry Rey I have to, she said to herself.
Rey was angrier then he was before and couldn't realize what that feeling was inside of him that was burning him as he walked to rehearsal hall. Turning up the music he tried to calm himself down. Every time Taani talked to Shivam he wanted to rip Shivam apart, he wanted to be the one Taani talked to. Just seeing them together did something to him.
"Ugh!" Rey groaned. "What is happening to me why is Taani affecting me so much. Why do I get angry when she's with Shivam? Why am I getting irritated that Shivam knows her better than I do? Why am I annoyed that she didn't tell me about this sooner. Am I jealous?" Rey stopped dancing and stared at himself through the mirror looking into himself.
"Jealous?" Rey asked himself realizing the feeling of anger and annoyance and irritation was all effect of one cause, jealousy.
