Contrary to Sharon's set in concrete belief that Swayam would do some soul searching,Swayam didn't want to do it.He was a perfect gentleman not a perfect human!He didn't want to badger himself with uncomfortable questions and come to even more uncomfortable conclusions.So deciding it was just another of their fights and that they would get over it and begin their cycle of flirting(Swayam's side),denial(Sharon's side) jealousy(both the sides) and generally feeling irritated and fustrated till their next fight or till Sharon expressed her feelings.Swayam personally thought Sharon would confess under the influence of alcohol.But discarding all thoughts of Sharon and fights,Swayam went to take a shower.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It wasn't until Swayam had finished showering,watching tv,eating,surfing the net,playing some video game,sleeping and finally sitting down to study for his Chem test that Swayam actually start thinking about the fight.But he supressed it telling himself that he was just finding an excuse to get out of studying,but gave up after a rather feeble fight and sat down on his couch to think.

When Swayam had been in the ninth standard his father had hired a private tutor for him.The tutor had been a small man with a booming voice and a deep interest in history and philosophy.Oneday after rapping Swayam's knuckles with a scale for doodling plaits on Plato,he had launched into advice giving mode.Swayam still remembered his words.The tutor had said,"Now Swayam you are growing up and I want to give you some advice.Remember there are a lot of people in this world who will stuff your head with pretty candy floss thoughts to either get their way or to ruin you.You have to be stern and unforgiving with yourself.Ask yourself questions and get answers too,that is the only way you'll ever know who you are and what you are capable of.Or else you will end up before God after a miserable life full off missed opportunities and dissapointments."Swayam had nodded and had remembered the advice knowing that it was important.

And the tutors advice had been completely right.No matter what Rey and Kriya told him and no matter how many "hang on their' looks he got from his friends regarding his love he knew that nothing was going to happen unless Sharon stopped denying and fighting.And his self respect took a repeated beating from her.Swayam loved and respected her,but he wanted a relationship based on equality and understanding.The moment he thought this he wondered if all his attempts at wooing and making her realize her love was futile.He realised he wanted to woo her and not make her jealous by talking to a stuffed toy or cherish her by maintaing a scrapbook or dancing with her cutout.He wanted to be her lover not her admirer or just a boy having a crush on her.

Heart and mind cleared Swayam went to his desk,sat down and began studying for his Chem test seriously without any other thought disturbing him.

The next day Sharon sent a message to Swayam asking him to meet him in abandoned corridor.Rey who had been with her when she had typed out the message immediately sent out a message to Kriya asking her to meet him their since Swaron were having a confrontation.

Rey and Kriya watched with bated breath as Sharon came in and stood infront of Swayam."I'm sorry for all the horrible things I said yesterday"she said without preamble."I'm sorry too Sharon,I forgive you,hope you forgive me too."'I do" Sharon said.Both of them looked at each other for a moment and then walked out.

Rey was the first to recover and banged his head against the wall in fustration and then hissed immediately at the pain."Are you okay?",Kriya asked worriedly rubbing his forehead."Yeah,I'm all right.That was the lamest confrontation ever."he said."Yeah,but we'll do something",Kriya said and they both got lost in each others eyes.

I rolled my eyes at Rey and Kriya's behaviour and then flew out of the corridor to watch Swayam and Sharon.They were walking away in the opposite direction,each already lost in their own world.To Rey and Kriya this would be alarming but like all humans they failed to understand that this was the turning point of Sharon and Swayam's relationship.Theirs hearts were free of all prejudices,doubts and grudges.Even if they were in denial their hearts knew the truth.Even though they were walking away from each other now,their hearts, free of all baggage were moving together towards a common destination of love.They were going to begin a new cycle of wooing,dates,confessions and love which would end with them living happily together.So in a sense they were moving into a new plane of their relationship.And they were moving on together.
