You slay me.
After my initial read those three words were all I could muster. I am back and have pulled myself together. What a superb job you have done here with this chapter. Yes, Khushi is not the bad guy (gal) anymore. She finally realized her wrongs, which I was never in favor of by the way, and is trying to right them. I won't discuss what she does and doesn't deserve, but I feel for her pain when she realized the tremendous and grave error she made. I still feel Arnav provoked all of this, but she let herself be manipulated and proceeded with this even though she knew Arnav was a good father. Our choices do come back to haunt us no matter how we wish they wouldn't. Khushi is paying such a price for her poor choices early on. Its a shame her former fiance and family are not suffering the same. I hope you will continue to make her stronger from here on. The irony being she finally understood what it means to put your child first, as she walked away from him for the second time. The first time she put everyone else first; this time it was finally Aryan who was her priority. That's what being a mother is all about.Arnav, you gotta love that man don't you? He knows she's a mess, she caused so much grief, she's a disaster waiting to happen and he loves her anyway. And best of all, he wouldn't let her go. His need overrides his better judgment. Don't know how smart that makes him, but it seems together they will make some kind of pair. And the way he handled everything with Aryan was so mature and just as a good father would handle matters. But in the end he could not escape his feelings for his son's mother (if I may call her that). I can't wait to see how you bring this all forward. Even though her moment was brief, also loved Priya, as she is still in Khushi's corner.Shyam is despicable and not worth discussing here at all. Can't wait for the next chapter. Thanks for interrupting your busy schedule for the surprise update last week and for this one today.
True & Life is just full of such ironies!
And where Khushi is concerned, she has much to learn still. She has to become stronger, stop letting the past drag her down. And of course there is her correlation with Aryan. I am very excited to write how she will pick herself up.
& Arnav, well said. But i wanted to give the poor guy just one moment...he is constantly fighting with himself over her. And sometimes we have to just stop thinking about all the consequences...and just breathe. And that truly him breathing. For the first time - he could come terms with khushi's pain. But even for him, despite making a decision so firmly...he had much to think about.
Well i am glad you like this story :) Thank you for always being honest with your thoughts and opinions. I love that about you!
