After my initial read those three words were all I could muster. I am back and have pulled myself together. What a superb job you have done here with this chapter. Yes, Khushi is not the bad guy (gal) anymore. She finally realized her wrongs, which I was never in favor of by the way, and is trying to right them. I won't discuss what she does and doesn't deserve, but I feel for her pain when she realized the tremendous and grave error she made. I still feel Arnav provoked all of this, but she let herself be manipulated and proceeded with this even though she knew Arnav was a good father. Our choices do come back to haunt us no matter how we wish they wouldn't. Khushi is paying such a price for her poor choices early on. Its a shame her former fiance and family are not suffering the same. I hope you will continue to make her stronger from here on. The irony being she finally understood what it means to put your child first, as she walked away from him for the second time. The first time she put everyone else first; this time it was finally Aryan who was her priority. That's what being a mother is all about.
Arnav, you gotta love that man don't you? He knows she's a mess, she caused so much grief, she's a disaster waiting to happen and he loves her anyway. And best of all, he wouldn't let her go. His need overrides his better judgment. Don't know how smart that makes him, but it seems together they will make some kind of pair. And the way he handled everything with Aryan was so mature and just as a good father would handle matters. But in the end he could not escape his feelings for his son's mother (if I may call her that). I can't wait to see how you bring this all forward. Even though her moment was brief, also loved Priya, as she is still in Khushi's corner.
Shyam is despicable and not worth discussing here at all.
Can't wait for the next chapter. Thanks for interrupting your busy schedule for the surprise update last week and for this one today.

True & Life is just full of such ironies!
And where Khushi is concerned, she has much to learn still. She has to become stronger, stop letting the past drag her down. And of course there is her correlation with Aryan. I am very excited to write how she will pick herself up.
& Arnav, well said. But i wanted to give the poor guy just one moment...he is constantly fighting with himself over her. And sometimes we have to just stop thinking about all the consequences...and just breathe. And that truly him breathing. For the first time - he could come terms with khushi's pain. But even for him, despite making a decision so firmly...he had much to think about.

Well i am glad you like this story :) Thank you for always being honest with your thoughts and opinions. I love that about you!

well the case came to the right conclusion and at least she knows what it really meant to do this to aryan
i can understand why it was difficult to write considering if you got even one thing wrong the whole chapter could go to peices
but of course that didnt happen
they way you protrayed all their emotions and thoughts in this was beyond my imagination and so in sync with the previous updates
so he did indulge in under hand tricks to make arnav loose huh
shyam you are lucky that aryan wasnt in the car with him or he wouldnt have spared ya
so what next for these two and aryan
cheers for pm

I was really curious to know how you would proceed given Arnav's conflict between priorities; and I must say the way you handled it as well as the effort taken in showing the proceedings of a case is highly commendable.

Arnav took a wise decision of bringing Aryan along. When he entered he did so as a father whose main focus is his child, which explains the face of cold indifference that he held towards Khushi. I loved the way he tried to make Aryan comfortable during his visit to the court, an illustration of the special bond they share. During the proceedings he did observe Khushi to see if she could realise and cope up with the truth.
'' It is not that i cannot.Rather, i will not'' He softly breathed against, offering comfort and solace. Anything except for, distance. This is what I liked about him; instead of judging her and leaving her to lick her wounds he followed his heart.
In the previous update when Khushi got to hear errors committed by both she realised she is no one to judge or question Arnav. At that moment she probably had considered withdrawing the case. The part where Aryan speaks about his mother was heartening but necessary for Khushi. She may have had dreams of Aryan running up to her and acknowledging her as a mother but she needed to realise her stance in his life. Her priority is Aryan no doubt, but the methods chosen to execute was biased towards soothing her own wounds. In the end she couldn't help blaming herself and running away, till Arnav showed her the way to handle her pain after presenting the mirror of reality. Beautiful chapter that I enjoyed re-reading.😊

[Do you have a preferred name?] It sounds odd to call you svj2...The case proceedings were i think easier to write than keeping Khushi is the BG throughout the whole update. Seriously its like she was the shadow from afar, when she was only few away from them! It was incredibly hard to write out. You read perfectly into Arnav's cold behavior - his focus was entirely on Aryan only. And it was not until Aryan left that he started to pay attention to her.

I am glad Khushi is finally seeking the right, because that takes a lot of courage. It doesn't take much to say - She is bad mother. she is selfish. But when you walk in her shoes, you realize the burden she carries is not a light one. Not that i support her ways - but i felt it was true to who she was. She was filled with guilt and guilt - trust me that it can lead one to some pretty petty places! It is very strong emotion. But now i am looking forward to writing about how she picks up the pieces.

Thank you for so much for your wonderful comment. And you re - read it? 😳 [I have a huge grin on my face]
