Devil in Disguise

PRECAP CHAPTER 9

Once Kushi had settled into her new room, she'd gotten quite uncomfortable. Of course, she'd been nervous living under the same roof with that Laad Governor - sleeping and living in another house with strangers beyond the home she'd ever known.

It wasn't until Anjali came around that she'd started to feel at home. She'd have to get comfortable with a new place all over again.

Early morning'.

Arnav woke up early around 7am the following morning, although he hadn't any sleep during the night. He got up, washed and dressed. He ended up lying down for a few minutes. He was more tired than he wanted to admit to anyone, even himself. He heard the sounds of light running footsteps going down the stairs and the smell of breakfast wafting up the stairs.

It was sunday ... Sunday's the raizada family always wake up around 10 to have breakfast together !

"I'm sorry, were we too loud?" HP asked

"No, just woke up ... going to the office " He replied

Anjali walked in five minutes later with yash - her 4 years old son - on her hip.

"You're up early ... too" he commented.

"Yeah, guess we had a good rest" Anjali said. "Let's have breakfast together before you leave ... the whole family is waiting for you ! Shall we ? "

" What do you mean by the whole family ? All of them ?"

" All of them !! " She replied .

"Okay Di ' Breakfast is ready." a soft voice came from the dining room.

" Kushiii !!!! " Arnav exclaimed.

Kushi sometimes enjoyed cooking. It gave her the chance to not think and that was the best. Sometimes it was good to not think, just act, just do something.
