Khushi wearing the birthday gift given by Arnav is ready and waiting for him. The door bell rings, and Khushi opens the door to find Arnav.

Arnav: (looks at Khushi from top to toe, smirks, thinks "So she liked the saree" and huskily says) Hi... So... Ready?

Khushi: (Thinks) Look at him smiling. Why did I wear this saree? I am an idiot. I did not even once think about what he would think when he sees me in this saree after I refused to accept it and then brought it along with me when I left Shantivan. Stupid, stupid Khushi.

Khushi nods. They both get into the car and silently drive to their destination. After some time they reach the airport and Khushi is confused.

Khushi: Arnavji, what are we doing at the airport? Where are we going?

Arnav: We are taking a plane to Lucknow. We'll be back by morning.

Khushi: (shouting) WHAT!? I thought I had to be with you only this evening and not the entire night? Are you crazy? I told Buaji I'll be home by ten. I am not coming with you.

Arnav: (angrily) First of all, in our deal I only said you have to come with me and I'll drop you back at Buaji's. I didn't mention how long we would be gone. Secondly, I don't know if I have gone crazy but I am certainly beginning to. (calmly now) And thirdly, I've already informed Buaji beforehand that you'll be with me the entire night and I'll be dropping you off late in the morning. I asked her not to tell you because I knew you might not come. So, now lets go. You made a deal, remember?

They boarded Arnav's private jet to Lucknow. While on the plane...

Arnav: (Thinks) I'm sorry Khushi, that I had to trick you. You are too self-sacrificial for your own good. I know what your hearts wants. It's convinced. Now it's time your minds is convinced that its not wrong for you to have your hearts desire. And I know exactly the way... Oh, I almost forgot... (To Khushi) What will you have for dinner?

Khushi: What?

Arnav: When we reach Lucknow, we will be having dinner first. Tell me what you want to have and I'll arrange for it.

Khushi: I don't want to have dinner.

Arnav: (sighs and patiently asks) Why?

Khushi: I'm not hungry.

Arnav: Don't lie to me. I know you're hungry. You were worried about coming with me and you didn't have lunch. You also didn't have your evening tea. You are very hungry right now.

Khushi: How do you...

Arnav: (cuts her off) I know everything. Now tell me what you want to eat.

Khushi: (Thinks) Well, I might as well order the Laad Governor to get me food that I want before he goes and orders it for me. (To Arnav) Okay. Just give me some time to think.

Arnav: Fine.

Khushi thinks hard and finally gives Arnav a list of 20 dishes to be ordered which are very difficult find in Lucknow. Arnav is at first flabbergasted at such a long list but then decides that it must be her way of getting back at him for being forced on this journey. He has to use every ounce of his limited reserve of patience today to put up with Khushi's antics and not burst out at her. After all, his entire life depended on it.
