After dat dreadful day'arnav could not get himself to talk to khushi bou it again'bt somewhere he stil was nt sure of having a baby'risking khushiz life'.

On the other hand..khushi was beaming wid joy'

She ve started taking gud care of herslf'dat wud nt give arnav any chance to even think about d abortion...

6 MONTHS LATER

raizadaz n guptaz were waiting outside d labour room

a tensed filled atmosphere'

anrav was pacing up n down d corrider'scared out of his wits..

he was thrown out of d labour room as he kept screaming at d staff for answers on khushiz evry scream'he was restless'.those few mins when he was inside were haunting him'.her images kept running throw his mind'she was going through hell'he kept blaming himself'n regretting every minute to let her do dis'.he js wanted to go inside bt damn these docs'.

arnav heard her loudest scream n dashed into d room'found khushi 'their eyes met for a tiny second'n she closed her eyes'her body relaxed 'd beeping sound of d machine died'some were wrapping towel on something dat looked like a baby'n some docs n nurses rushed towards her lump body'his vision blurred..he cud nt see anything anymore'he walked out in a daze'he heard everyone else rush in followed by screams n cries'.

He dint respond to anything'

He simply kept to himself'

He walking around wid a blank xpresseion'.lost in deep thoughts'.

"chotte'.baat kariye humse'.plz'" she cried'

"plz u need to talk to me'." She took his face in her hands n tried to turn him her way bt he dint budge'kept staring into space''.

Arnav ve nt reacted to anything dat happened few weeks back'

D entire family was worried bou him'it ws nt good for his health'

He dint even participate in d final rituals'.

He had locked himself in his room'.refusing to come out'.

Anjali made up her mind to confront her brother..itz been few weeks now n he stil ve nt seen his own child'.he has to come out of it she thought'n reached his room'

D door was open'wat she saw made her relax 'she was relieved to see some emotion out of his brother'

The bedroom was a mess'.khushiz clothes were all over d room'.arnav held on to one of khushi's kurti n sat at d foot of d bed'.

She sat beside her'rested her head on his shoulder'

der was silence for a while before she heard him say "that is not my child"

tear rolled down her cheeks "plz don't say dat chotte '"

after a while he said "THAT THING TOOK AWAY KHUSHI FROM ME"

anjali dint say another word'she cried on his shoulder'she felt so helpless'.wat could she possibly say to make him understand everything when he is blaming his own child for his loss'

she realized he needed time'some more time'she ll help him come out of it'she will'.she ll ve to deal wid him patiently'.

FEW WEEKS LATER

Arnav made up his routine to keep himself busy..bt he dint talk much'reminding anjali of d days when dey had lost their parents'

Khushiji had changed him so much over d last few years dat she almost forgot d arnav she knew before'.

But now things ve changed n gone back to those days'..

He was coming out of it though..slowly'

Anjali never spoke to him bou his child again'

He stil ve nt seen his baby'

Anjali ws scared'she cud nt help thinking wt if he never did??

One afternoon'

Arnav jolted up when he heard anjali screaming frantically

He ran downstairs to find anjali hysterical "WHERE IS D BABY??" she kept screaming'

He ran to her..

"di'relax'wats wrong?"

"chotte'd baby is missing'I had just gone to d kitchen to get some milk'n I 'I swear d baby was right here" she pointed towards d sofa "n now'" she started crying'

"di 'll u plz'"

"chotte'I m sorry'I'" she stopped midway'saw his face'calm n composed'.he dint seem to feel anything'he dint even react on d fact dt his child is missing'he simply stood der trying to calm her down'

it is HIS child missing

he dint feel for his child at all'

her temper rose n she thought of bashing him for being a terrible father when "di'" payal came inside d house holding d baby wid her "kya hua?"

anjali closed her eyes n calmed herslf when she saw her holding d baby'

arnav saw payal holding something'it ws nt hard to guess wat it was'he turned arnd to go back to his room bt js den he saw a glimpse'

a glimpse of a familiar face'

he snapped arnd n his eyes bored into those exact same doe shaped eyes'perfectly carved sharp nose'pink rosy lips'but d face somewhere along the sides looked like his own'.wrapped in pink cloth'playing wid something'hands trying to catch something in d air'.he took a step forward n those doe shaped eyes met his eyes'he took a sharp breath'those same eyes'wid d same spark'd exact same glowing face..smiling n giggling away'

he walked forward'

payal on d other hand was nt sure if it wud b safe to give d baby to him'hez been acting like a lunatic lately'n also blamed his own child 4 d remise of his wife'wat if he harmed d baby?

anjali sensed her fears'she signaled her to stay stil'.

Arnav walked towards payal'nt moving his eyes away from d baby'

He took d baby wid trembling hands'.his heart swelled'he felt a sense of completion'.he held it close to him'.

"KHUSHI" he cried
