a very nice story but i really cried after each update...such an emotional one 😭

hello darling...SORRY SORRY SORRY...for making u guyz wait for so long...i knw itz hell late...but i cud nt hlp it..srsly...prbly most of u must ve forgotten d story by now...so i suggest read up d previous chapz...to get into d feel ...d story...js 4 parts anyway...bt if u stil remb den cool...read on...

CHAPTER 5

*FLASHBACK*

ONE NIGHT :-

Arnav was sleeping'cuddled arnd by khushi

He had kept his protective arm around khushi

His face buried in her hair

His favourite place in the world

He felt a nudge...n den again..he ws startled n got up..."khushi'r u ok??"

"hmm" came her reply

she seemed perfectly fine...then what did he feel??it surely ws from her...he came near her to observe her closely n felt it again...omg...its her stomach..."khushi..i m taking u to d hospital...get up!"

he got of d bed

"sune dijiye arnavji"

he ws surprised to see her so relaxed..."khushi r u out of ur mind?? Get up this second!"

she pulled d pillow over her head n mumbled something

he snatched d pillow away 'she slowly opened her eyes " is this is how u treat ur PREGNANT WIFE?? I bet no husband is as cruel as u r'"

"yes no husband is as caring as me...cant u feel it?? I m sure evn if u do u r planely ignoring it...how careless can u be" he said while changing his clothes... "now get up ll u "

khushi gave him a confused look "feel what?"

"oh no ...I m not falling for that...khushi ...I felt it too ther is differently something wrong...ur ..ur stomach..it ws ..it gave a nudge...I mean..I dnt knw something is dfntly not right" n he saw her a smile erupting on her face which turned into a horrifying laugh...he saw her laughing her head off...n he stood ther like an idiot "whats so funny??...what I m missing??

She finally caught some breath..."this would not ve happened if..if u heard me last night...bt hey...NO COMPLAINS...I would nt ve got to see ur face a reaction otherwise " n she was on it again...

"stop it!"

"oh god..i cant "

"stop it..n tell me whats making u laugh at me ..like a maniac.."

"that is d baby kicking arnavji"

"what??no..it cant b "

"wat do u mean it cant be..itz...y not??n u dint listed to me at all last night did u? d baby started kicking n I ws asking to come over n feel it'bt sigh..since u r married to ur laptop..y ll u evr think of me n d baby.."

"shut up khushi" he said feeling stupid

she extended her hand n made him sit beside her

"can i..I want to feel it ?" he asked..wondering y ws he hesitating''.d answer came right away..he ve never shown any interest before...

he moved his hand towards her belly..khushi snapped n pushed it away..

"what??" he asked

"arnavji ..d baby is it on d "active mode" all d time..when it does I ll let u knw"

"hmm..I thnk should change"

"hahaha..ya ya u do.." his glare made her stop laughing..

"khushi'" he walking around' "u r gona drive me crazy u knw??"

"is dt something new arnavji??" she asked as if shez proud of it "I m tired now'can v talk later'actly'v dnt need to'"

it was arnavz turn to laugh now'"yes v already knw dt u r PAGAL"'.she only smiled.. "bt tel me one thng khushi'"

"arnavji..come here'jaldi"

he rushed towards her'n saw her placing her hand on her stomach'.bt d time he reached'"u missed it arnavji'" bt arnav dint miss d smile 'he dint miss d glow on her face..dt occurred when she placed her hand longingly on dt same spot'she looked so beautiful'so at peace'n instantly his face fell..he felt as if he ve gone way to far away from his khushi'.

"what happened arnavji??aww arnavji'u better stand close to me n nxt time I promise I wont let u miss it"

he lifted his eyes'n met hers'there was something else'he looked sad'dejected bt not cuz he missed to feel d kick'"what happened 'r u ok??what is it plz tell me" she bombarded him with questions'she cud nt read him'

"plz come close to me anravji'what is it tel me.."

he placehis head on her lap'he felt her fingers on his forehead brushing away few strands of his hair'.

He wanted to tell her immediately what he felt'but he was scared dt it might her further away from him'is dt possible??or will she understand him..as she heard his thoughts'. "arnavji 'u knw u can tell me anything"

He was weighing up his options'whether or not it is good to talk bou this'bt finally spoke out his feelings'

"khushi..i think'u r more concerned bou d baby now..u look more happy with it'll u forget bou me completely after itz birth???

I knw I sound stupid'.n insecure too bt I feel u r moving away from me'

Khushi hugged his face'n kissed on his forehead'

She knew dis way going to come'

The day he spoke bou d abortion she knew how imp she was to him n dt she means world to him'n since then she has been trying hard to make him feel like a father'less like a husband'n now that its out in d open she can n should make him understand'how things work when they ve a new member in their family'

"hey devi mayya'I ve to take care of two babies now'" she smiled down to him'"arnavji'u r such a baby urslf'dnt tel me u r jealous r u??"

he looked away'

"arnavji look at u'kaun yakeen karega u r gona b a father in few days'"

"khushi plz"

"arnav ji'" said in a serious tone' "what makes u think I m going away from u or distancing myslf from u..??this child is gona get us closer arnavji'ok first of all.." he made him sit on d bed n rest his back on d headboard "u need to knw that NOTHING is going to happen to me'so u ll ve to stop behaving like this'don't blame our baby our love for anything'promise me u r gona take good care of our baby...plz promise me arnavji..." he simply nodded..."n now lets come to d other thing that is bothering u for so long...arnavji...u knw it is because of u wt i m today... a girl can b everythng...she comes with a package when is born...she is born as a daughter,sister later on she becomes a wife...bt u ve helped me achieve my fullfillment by giving me this baby...U VE COMPLETED ME!!
n so when u ve given me everythng i cud ask for..how on earth or rather y ll i ever forget bou u...n leave u alone...that too for somethng v r making together...this is OUR baby arnavji..."

arnav wiped his tears...n looked at his angel...she was just as beautiful as her mother...he dint realize when he drifted of to this memory...he had promised khushi to take care of their child...this memory had been haunting him since her death but he js could not get himslf to do anythng...but now...things ve changed...now he understood everythng more clearly...so now...he ll all his life live upto his promise

anjali understood what Raj said she realized when arnav started hallucinating khushi it was she who made him connect with his own child'it was khushi who helped him through his difficult journey without her n to take care of their child

as long as he is happy she need not worry..

"khushiji" she smiled'looking at d sky'

"u r watching all this r nt u?

look what u ve done 'even after u left'chotte has kept u alive'"

a lone star... brightest in d sky twinkled...as if responding to anjali's talk or may be evn smiling back at her

"arshi" arnav dashed into his room..

"ARSHI!!" He screamed again'

No sign of her

He looked at the pool side'

Khushi sat there clad in a white saree her hair kept loose'playing wid the water'

"your daughther is driving me crazy"

"she is js nt my daughter'she is OUR DAUGHTER arnavji"

"I highly doubt that khushi.."

"what do u mean?" she pouted at him

"all she wants to do is eat jalebis dance around the house 'n her love for those annoying noises of bangles n anklets'uff'she is JUST YOUR DAUGHTER!!!"

"she also has a temper like you n shez stubborn like u'" khushi snapped

arnav took a deep breath n sat on d recliner beside d pool'

"I m tired khushi '" he said looking at her defeated

"close ur eyes arnavji'u need to relax" n he did as said

"its not easy to bring up a child khushi"

"hmm"

"n definetly not possible without ur guidance"

"hmm"

"khushi?"

"hmm??"

"will u stay with me"

"ALWAYS"

Loved the update hun... This one really was a sad story and i'm really touched.. I'm not jus saying this .. Each one of your updates left me with a heavy heart.. Makes me want to cry.. Loved this update.. The flashback was cute and stil sad... Kushi will stay with him and help him always.. The star twinkling part was nice.. Loved the ending... But next time write a happy story.. Cn't bear to see them apart!
