They reached their home and settled in their daily routine .. initially it was very weird for Kria .. she found nothing new in her .. she was expecting some drastic change in her .. but she was just like before .. even Reyaansh was the same .. only their marital status had changed .. she herself didn't know what change she was expecting .. maybe she thought she would become more serious or sober ..but no .. nothing of that sort happened ..

She sometimes found it really lucky that Reyaansh was her best friend before her hubby .. she enjoyed the fun element in their relationship .. she always wanted to keep that .. she loved it when they put some silly bets or argued over something idiotic and made up .. she even loved to anticipate what unique thing he would do for her ..

After a month ..

They both were sitting and filling out the joining details on their respective company websites and uploading their documents …

Rey had finished filling his details .. so he put his head on her shoulder and was leaning on her .. Kria was busy filling her details .. He fed her a chocolate bar but she was so engrossed that she had forgotten to eat and was just holding it between her teeth and a little part stuck out .. she looked so cute .. he just put his arms around her and was looking at what she was filling ..

He read what she was filling .. suddenly .. "Kria .. you are making a mistake here .. " he pointed on the form ..

Kria didn't notice .. "No .. everything is correct .. I checked it .. " .. she kept the chocolate bar aside .. frowned and went ahead on the form ..

"Kria .. you are not listening to me .. see this .. you need to check this box "

"Uff … Reyaansh , please don't disturb me .. I know what I have to fill .. these are my details " she said it a bit harshly ..

He got angry .. he just turned his back to her .. and started working on his laptop .. "Do whatever you want " he mumbled ..

Kria was surprised… what's wrong with him .. she shook her head .. she finished filling her details .. went over everything again .. she went to the point where he was saying she made a mistake ..

She hit her forehead .. she had totally forgotten .. she was married now .. she had checked the box where "single " was written ..

Oh no .. I have annoyed him .. She closed all her forms .. sent it .. then she came behind Reyaansh ..

She hugged him from behind "Angry ?"

He didn't reply .. "sorry " she said like a small kid ..

He still didn't look at her .. "I forgot .. I know I shouldn't have .. but it just slipped out of my mind .. sorry "

She caught her ears and apologised .. generally by this time she would have got irritated .. she apologised so many times and Reyaansh didn't heed to her .. but this time her ego didn't come in between .. this surprised her a lot .. even thought he was ignoring her .. she was bent upon persuading him .. and moreover she was loving it ..

She thought for a moment .. and smiled ..

"Do you want to eat this chocolate ?" she asked with a wide smile ..

Without even looking at her "No .. leave me alone " he spoke after a long time gruffly..

She snatched his laptop from him .. "Kria .. please give it back " .. he was really angry ..

"No .. just 2 mins .. you eat this chocolate and then I will give it back "

His back was still to her .. she turned him to face her ..but he had turned his head away .. she cupped his face .. "Please .. you love chocolates ..rite ?"

He looked in her eyes .. he could sense something different .. the twinkle in her indicated that she was upto something ..

"Waiting for you " she sang .. and gave a pout .. He saw her lips .. they were brown .. He couldn't help but smile at her way to cajole him ... she had applied chocolate on her lips like a lipstick ..

He took her in his arms .. "Don't you ever forget now , you are married to me " he said with a smile .. She nodded her head like a small kid ..

"I love you " he closed his eyes and said ..

"Before I am tempted to lick my own lips .. finish it off .. then I will love you "

He laughed loudly and then licked the chocolate off her lips .. and kissed her earnestly ..

After they completed their MS .. Reyaansh had to join his office immediately .. but Kria's joining was after a month ..

She had a lot of time at her hand .. Everyday she would go on some site .. search for a recipe and make that dish ..

Every evening when Reyaansh would come .. he would be served with her genuine attempt .. sometimes good .. sometimes ..well … he couldn't say anything to her .. lets say not so good ..

This was because whenever he came home .. he would find the brightest smile on her face … initial one or two days he wondered what's wrong with her ..

Later he realised what she has been upto .. the house would be decorated either with flowers or candles .. the dinner table would be set with cutlery and some new dish which she had tried ..

She would let him wash and change .. she would make him sit on the chair .. she would perch on his lap and ask him with the cutest smile he had ever seen .. "I have made something for you .. would you like to try "

He would always chuckle in his mind .. If I say no .. won't you fry me and eat ..

Then he would give his sweetest smile .. "What have you made today ?"

She would feed him .. sometimes the dish really turned out to be delicious .. sometimes it was ok .. but he really appreciated her efforts for doing all this for him ..

He hardly got time in office to even call her .. he was undergoing rigorous training .. and at the same time he was put on a project. . so he had loads of work .. But, whenever he came home .. her smile would just take his mind off everything ..and he would be transferred in just another world ..

It was Friday .. he had made up his mind to leave office early to be with her .. because from Monday she would start her job ..

He left the office building and was walking towards the train station .. When he was at the crossing waiting for the signal , his cell rang .. he saw the caller id and smiled .."Hi Wifey .. what's for dinner today ?"

"Nothing .. I am bored "

"Oh .. so what's the plan ?"

"Will you be late today ?"

"No .. in fact I am on my way to the train station .. I wanted to come home early for you "

"Are you alone ?"

"Yes .. why do you ask ?"

"No .. I heard someone "

"No .. I am alone, wifey "

"Who is that skimpily dressed female behind you then ?"

He was so shocked .. that he abruptly stopped and turned behind .. he bumped into a girl .. as Kria had described .. yes she was in a revealing outfit .. she was one of the secretaries of his Manager .. Rey had seen her once or twice at his floor .. "Sorry .. " he was embarrassed … She was also stunned when he had turned .. her hands were on his shoulders "My pleasure " . .she gave a s*xy smile .. "Any plans for tonight ,Baby ?" she asked in a s*xy voice ..

"Excuse me, I am in a hurry" he hurriedly said and turned to walk ahead .. Again he stopped abruptly .. the girl again bumped into him " W*F do you want ?" she yelled .. "Oops " he could only utter .. He stepped aside to let her walk by .. then he moved ahead " I should have guessed that this little prankster devil is around " he hit slightly on Kria's head who was giggling ..

"The way you are laughing , I am sure I have given you the innermost pleasure rite ?"

In between her giggles "It was so much fun to see you get embarrassed"

He rolled his eyes ..

"But, don't you think she is hot ?" he asked her with his eyebrows raised ..looking behind at the girl ..

Kria's smile vanished .. "She is .. umm .. fine .. not as in .. hot .. she is ok " she managed to say ..

Rey kept looking at the girl "No .. I really think she has a 10 on 10 figure .. " he glanced at Kria from the corner of his eye ..Kria was getting uneasy .. "I said .. she is average types "..

"You are jealous of her "

"Ha .. what's there to be jealous of her "

"Look at your face .. its shows it .. "

Kria was bubbling with anger .. she felt like slapping herself for starting this stupid prank .. she wanted to have some fun .. now she herself had made a fool of herself ..

She tried to keep a straight face .. "I have a neutral face "

Reyaansh burst out laughing when she said that .. "That was a good one .. lets go some place " .. he said ..still laughing ..

They walked into a bar ..

"But whatever it is .. I think she was hot .. " he knew he was irritating her to no end .. but he was not going to back off if she started anything .. will he ?

Kria lost her cool .. "Ok then go and burn your fingers "

He burst out laughing aloud again .. "I can't do that .. "

She raised her eyebrows .. "Why?"

"Because of the smoking hot gal sitting in front of me .. they are already charred" he grinned ..

Kria rolled her eyes .. she tried to stop the smile which was forming on her lips .. but she failed .. she hit him with the menu card on the head .. and started laughing ..

Both Rey and Kria started off with their respective jobs .. They had loads of work on their heads .. since they had excellent academic records .. they were put on high risk projects with lots of responsibilities .. but they took out time for each other .. for their romance ..

Even though now they worked for different companies .. on different areas .. but one thing they always made sure .. they kept each other on toes ..

There was always healthy competition between them as to who will climb the career ladder faster than the other .. the healthy spirit with which they worked hard .. their determination to be the best in whatever they do .. was making them grow very well in their professional life … trying to outdo the other was their way of motivating the other to work and put in more than their 100% ..
