HI I'M BACK WITH MY UPDATES FOR YOU ALL, HOPE I U GUYS ARE STILL WAITING N I HAVEN'T MADE U GUYS GO AWAY FOR TAKING SO LONG...😛

OKIES FIRSTLY EID MUBARAK TO U ALL!!!!! 🤗

Hope your ramadan went well, and your fasts weren't too hard on you.

And now as promised I am back with my updates on the 2nd day of Eid, hope you enjoy them!!

o but before that, a lil recap for u all to refresh ur memories from where i left off:

Arnav doesn't believe Khushi, and thinks she is playing him and ruining his di's life and so flips into ASR mode and yells at khushi n tells her that he wont divorce after the six months but will make her his wife for the rest of their lives in order to torcher her. Khushi is broken for she thinks that after he took her side against shyam in front of the family that he finaly believed her but he didn't. the next morning anjali barges into their room n v discover she has gone into denial, where she doesn't remember anything from the day before (where arnav kicked shyam out) and she is hysterical and Arnav is horrified that he has to relive his Di's hysteria again (he had gone through this at the time of their mother's suicide). he pacifies Anjali and tells her a lie that shyam is fine n will be home soon. Khushi is confused by this turn of events.

at the breakfast table NK jokes around with Khushi, thinking all is well, when he unintentionally hurts her by mentioning Arnav's love for her. And he is confused for he doesn't understand why what has happened n why Khushi is so upset, n Khushi is unwilling to tell anyone that Arnav still thinks her to be an adulterous. Just then Arnav enters, n behind him Shyam. NK lunges for Shyam, but Arnav stops him. A fight ensues btwn Arnav n NK when NK realises that Arnav is the one who has bought Shyam back. the Family come n try to get Arnav to explain this decision of his, but he implies that he will explain all, once Anjali is out of ear shot.

we are left with Shyam's thought on how Arnav has made the biggest mistake of his life by bringing him back into the house.

'Chotey...what is the meaning of all this?' Nani voiced the baffled thoughts of the rest of the family members. But before she or any of them could question him further he shot them a poignant look, silencing them. Stating that he would explain everything after Di was out of ear-shot.

'Exactly Rani Sahiba...give me a chance to breathe. Firstly sorry, Rani Sahiba that I got you so rattled, but I got blind-sighted yesterday and was forced to leave...to Pune but today is a new day, and things will go my way and besides I'm home now Rani Sahiba, just for you and khushi...our little khushi' he added the latter tauntingly to Arnav, enjoying every bit of the moment. He had Arnav on a tight-leash and was happily toying around with it, ensuring maximum torture for Arnav. After all, he was Shyam Manohar Jha and he wasn't going to live down the humiliation he had received at the hands of Arnav Singh Raizada so easily. He was going to make sure Arnav suffered. And Arnav had as good as handed over the reigns to him for his own torture by bringing him back to Shantivan. Granted he had 'conditions' to follow but Arnav Singh Raizada had paved the way to his destruction by giving into his Di's demands and knocking on his door this morning. No doubt Arnav Singh Raizada had something brewing in his mind, probably thought he could control him, Shyam Manohar Jha. But unlike Arnav, Shyam was under no illusion and knew both of Arnav's weaknesses while Arnav assumed wrongly about his. Arnav Singh Raizada was in for the most brutal ride of his life and he had willingly gotten into the car...not a smart move by the ruthless, self-made business tycoon.

Chapter Seven

'Bhai...'

'Arnav Bitwa...'

'Chotey explain...'

After Anjali and Shyam had left the breakfast table and were in their room, the family circled Arnav, demanding an answer to his incomprehensible manoeuvre.

He looked at all their faces staring at him accusingly for letting that scoundrel enter Anjali's life again, and heaved a deep sigh. He looked directly at Nani, when he spoke as he knew only she would understand the depth of the desperation behind his decision and spoke the words that had brought his, Arnav Singh Raizada's defeat:

'Di is in denial again Nani.' The responsive gasp from her, and the rest of the family members said it all. The fear of Anjali, their beloved daughter, slipping away into the depths of insanity was a fear that gripped the core of every member in the Raizada house. The memory of her episodes after the death of Arnav and Anjali's mother had never left their minds, and hearing the words of her being in denial again raked up all those memories, making them as fresh as if they had lived (or more liked died) through that horror just yesterday.

No one spoke for what seemed like a long while. Each trying to pave their way out of the horror from the past. Finally Nani voiced a question that was beginning to etch its way into everyone's mind and had been eating at NK's for a while.

'But Chotey are you sure this is the only way...I mean after everything that has happened do you really want that man in this house, around Anjali, around Khushi...'

'Nani I'm not thrilled at having that man in this house but this was the only way...Di would have started questioning once he didn't show up and then what would we have done...she needs to be eased into the truth...and for that if I have to tolerate that sick man in this house I will do so...but I'm not going to risk Di's health or her child's Nani...I can't...once Di is stable and in the clear I will make her see the truth and kick that man out of her life once and for all...but until then we will just have to tolerate the scoundrel...and please everyone act as normally as possible around Di...don't let her suspect anything...'

'I understand all that Chotey but are sure this was the only way I mean do you really think it's safe to have that man in this house Chotey, not just for Anjali but for you too Chotey, I mean he's not exactly happy with what you did with him...and then what about Khushi bitya Chotey...she can't be safe with that man inches away from her...'

'Exactly Nannav...by bringing that man here you have put khushi ji in grave danger...did you even think once about her before you bought him here?'

At the mentioning of Khushi's safety Arnav's head snapped up and he turned around to look at her. She sat there, next to Payal still ghostly pale, clutching Payal's hand. And he gave an involuntary laugh.

' Safety?! Khushi's safety?!! Are seriously asking me that question?!!'

He said mockingly at NK and his Nani but seeing the concern and seriousness on their faces realised that they were still under the phantom, Khushi Kumari Gupta's spell.

'You don't have to worry about her safety Nani, because he would never hurt her, not his love!!' spat out Arnav disgustedly at Khushi. 'Would he Khushi? I bet you're really happy right now, now that your lover is back in the house. You're probably already thinking of rendezvousing with him on your beloved terrace!!! But you know what Khushi Kumari Gupta, your wrong!! He may be here but you two won't get your way. Either of you step out of line and try and break Di's illusion of her happy marriage and I swear I will break you Khushi. Don't forget he may be your lover but i'm still your husband and you answer to me. I told your good-for-nothing lover this and I'm telling you too, you put one step out of line and I will make you sorry for ever crossing me!!' growled Arnav at Khushi.

Khushi who had been sitting quietly through Arnav's second round of threats (after last night), digging her nails into Payal's palms finally released Payal's hands after Arnav had reached his crescendo and got up to look at him full in the face. Her face was blank. Impassive. There were tear marks on her cheeks from earlier but other than that it was completely empty, no emotion flickered across it. She replied to his banter in a dead, soft spoken voice.

'You already have broken me, what more do you plan to break Arnav ji?' She turned to leave, but stopped to add, 'And about me being sorry to have ever crossed you, well Arnav ji, I am sorry everyday that our paths crossed, no point in you trying to make me regret what I already do.'

And with that Khushi left Arnav and the rest of the Raizada's in a cloud of dead air. Speechless. Her voice had been low, but it wrung loud and clear in their heads. Something about her tone, or the lack there of left them unsettled.

After a long pause Nani again broke the silence and snapped Arnav out of his thoughts. Thoughts that had begun to debate Khushi's innocence again and the pain that he had and was causing her. The brother inside him argued vicsiouisly of her guilt, holding her words against her. While the lover inside him countered violently stating her innocence through her actions, actions that had ensured his life today. He was standing, alive in the Raizada lounge because she had risked her life for him. Yet the brother in him was unwillingly to let go of her suggestion to Shyam to leave his Di, and the fact that Mami ji herself had heard her ask Shyam to give Di a divorce and she herself had admitted to getting him to sign the papers. But her eyes and her heart and her behaviour all suggested otherwise...ugh what was the truth and why was it so hard to find...

'Chotey? Chotey I asked you a question.' Nani's authoritative voice cut through Arnav's plaguing thoughts.

'Hunh...what?'

'Chotey I asked you what was all of this? What you just said to Khushi bitya? Have you lost your mind?!! How can you even suggest that she is happy to have that man in this house, she is your wife! Do you not know her at all?!'

'Hunh...Nani what are you saying? Are saying that you think Khushi is innocent, that she had nothing to do with the whole Shaym fiasco?'

'Far from it...she is not innocent. But she isn't guilty either.'

'What?!'

'Chotey I don't know what is going through your head and why you said all those harsh things to Khushi bitya. All I know is that you have accused her wrongly. You cannot blame her for Shyam's lust and his irreparable actions.'

'Wait are you saying that you believe Khushi to be innocent?'

'Of any crime, yes.'

'If that is so then why have you been treating her so indifferently?'

'Because she may be innocent of the crime but she is guilty of betraying my trust. I trusted her to tell me the truth but she lied and kept this dirty secret. I understand why, it was to protect Anjali bitya. But that still doesn't justify her keeping the truth from me, or you for that matter.'

'So wait you don't think that she loves Shyam?'

'NO! I could never think that, I know Khushi bitya very well Chotey. She would never have an affair with a married man, and she would never even think of hurting Anjali bitya not only because she loves Anjali bitya so much, but because she loves you Chotey! She could never hurt you. Now I don't know what is going on in your head but if you don't watch out you may just end up losing both Anjali bitya and Khushi bitya, by bringing that man into this house. I hope you have thought things through.

'Now Manorama, will you please help me to my room, I think I have seen enough drama for today.'

As Nani Left with Manorama. NK approached Arnav.

'You're doing wrong Nannav. Very wrong for not trusting Khushi ji. And I'm sorry to say it but you will regret it Nannav. Severely regret it.'

As the family left the lounging area, Arnav was left in the middle, with Khushi, Nani ji and NK's words echoing in his head.

You already have broken me... She would never have an affair with a married man, and she would never even think of hurting Anjali bitya... because she loves you Chotey! She could never hurt you... You're doing wrong Nannav. Very wrong for not trusting Khushi ji... I am sorry everyday that our paths crossed... if you don't watch out you may just end up losing both Anjali bitya and Khushi bitya... you will regret it Nannav. Severely regret it.

Chapter Eight

Arnav sat in his sanctuary trying to work, and escape from the chaos that was swelling his mind, but he fooled no one, not his plants, himself or the mosquitoes that were buzzing around in the pool area. Their buzz seemed to be echoing the riotous state of his mind. Where the lover Arnav had taken full swing and was sending one blow after another towards the brother Arnav. Everything that had happen downstairs, the past month, the past year really was replaying inside his head and for the first time he truly began scrutinising each memory to try and find an answer to his questions. He replayed each memory from the day he met Khushi at Sheesh-Mahal in Lucknow. He had misunderstood her that night, even though she had continuously told him that she was innocent. He had misunderstood her when she had come to work for him. He had misunderstood her when she had come to empathise with him on his parents' death-anniversary. He had misunderstood her when she came to help Lavanya. He had misunderstood her when she gate-crashed his (lets-face-it boring) party. He had misunderstood her every single time. So had he misunderstood her that fateful night too on the terrace...

Khushi's words on the road echoed in his head... You only saw what you wanted to see, heard what you wanted to hear...why didn't you ask me?!!! Why hadn't he?!! He should have confronted her, like he had confronted Shyam, but why hadn't he? Was it because confirmation from Shyam was enough...or was it because he was too afraid of her answer...

The dilemma that had plagued him ever since the day he had revealed to Khushi the truth behind their marriage and had heard her side of the story was eating at him again. Had he mistaken Khushi again for the second time. While kidnapped he had began to believe he had wronged Khushi and that her side of the story was indeed the truth. He had seen her love for him and it was all clear in the solitude of that derelict basement where the kidnappers had kept him, that his Khushi was his only and that she was innocent. But then yesterday in the lounge, Khushi's lack of evidence, Shyam's manipulation of words, and Mami Ji's account had persuaded him against Khushi...but now Nani ji's blind trust, khushi's empty voice and NK's resigned admission to Arnav's nearing doom all knawed at his insides. Had he misunderstood Khushi and her intentions yet again...

'Yes! You have done it again!' Snapped a voice at Arnav, as a hand slammed the laptop shut in front of him.

'Khushi...' Arnav started, but stopped as Payal came into view. Payal had disappeared after Khushi, after she had spoken her last words to Arnav in the living room. And now was standing with a livid face staring at the man who had killed her sister.

'Don't you dare say her precious name from your lips! You are not worthy of uttering her pure name. You the man who has dragged it through so much mud!!'

'Payal wha...'

'O please...don't even start with me. Not after you have killed my sister!!'

'Killed Khu...Khu...' Arnav could not even complete that sentence the pain of completing that sentence was excruciating. The image of khushi on the roof top in laxmi-nagar trying to commit suicide circled in his head...had she...had she attempted su...suicide again...

'I said don't say her name with that filthy mouth of yours.'

'Payal what happened to her...where is she?!' begged Arnav. In that moment it was all clear he had been wrong and he had let Khushi walk the plank because he was so damn ignorant and stubborn, not listening to his heart that had screamed the truth to him. And now, now he had lost his chance to ever be able to earn her forgiveness. He was swooning, falling into that black pit that he had taken so much pain to steer away from...

'No where I will ever let you come close to her...not after you have left her in that state!'

Payal's last words brought a flicker of hope, 'wait...she is alive?'

'She is breathing if that is what you mean by being alive...but otherwise dead!!

'You have killed her soul Arnav Singh Raizada!! Finally driven her to her breaking point! That is what you have always wanted to do wasn't it, ever since you employed her at AR. To break her!! Well congratulations Mr Arnav Singh Raizada you have accomplished that today. Khushi is broken!! My sister, my baby sister is sitting downstairs in the mandir lifeless all thanks to you!!!'

Payal was now on the floor weeping. The sight of her sister sitting on the mandir steps, lifeless, with all hope lost had set her every nerve on fire. She wasn't going to let Arnav off the hook, but shouting at this slab of marble, called Arnav Singh Raizada, about Khushi's condition had made her waver for a moment as khushi's expressionless face flashed before her eyes she couldn't help but break down. She had kept herself together in the mandir when she had tried to get a response out of Khushi in vain, but now in front of Arnav Singh Raizada she couldn't help it anymore, the anger she felt towards him was unmatchable towards the love she harboured for her sister and remembering her expressionless face had reduced her to tears.

Seeing Payal's state Arnav advanced towards her trying to console her, 'Payal...I...she...I..w..'

But before he could even put his hand on her shoulder Payal slapped it away and wiped her tears. 'Don't...don't even think about it. Don't mistake my tears for weakness or fear...I'm not afraid of you...you made very sure of that when you hurt Khushi. I'm not going to let you off so easily Mr Arnav Singh Raizada, you will pay for your crimes against my sister...I will make sure of it.'

She wasn't going to be weak in front of this man, he preyed on weak people. And she had to be strong for her sister. Her Khushi. She looked up at man who had ruined her sister's life and asked:

'Tell me one thing if you never loved her, or trusted her then why? Why did you marry her? If you never intended to take care of her then why did you take those vows? She never wanted you, she never asked for you, then why did you pursue her? What did she do to you that hurt you so bad that you had to make her life a living hell from the day you met her. What was her mistake?! That she loved you. That she loved your family? That she tolerated that sick man's advances only and only to keep your Di's belief of a perfect husband intact. What? What was her mistake?! Answer me damn it!!'

Arnav had no answer to that question. He himself had been plagued with that question many times. Why? Why could he not trust her? Why did he always hurt her? What was her mistake? He didn't know, all he knew was that somehow he always ended up misjudging Khushi and thereby causing her severe pain.

Payal turned to leave, seeing that there was no point in wasting her breath on this stone statue. There was no point in expecting an answer from him. He was cruel, plain and simple and that's why he hurt people. But she stopped at the door turning around to look at Arnav with the look of utmost disgust.

'And about what you said to Khushi downstairs...that you will make her regret ever meeting you...what are you going to make her regret...I regret that cursed moment when I opened my mouth and voiced my fears about the dowry and Abhishek ji to Khushi, if I had never said anything to her that day Khushi would never have motored half across town to meet the groom and would never have met you...and if that had happened she would never have had to see this day. So what are you going to make Khushi or me or anyone of us regret that day Mr Raizada...we already do...it is you who will regret now...regret messing with Khushi, regret hurting Khushi, regret breaking her!' And with that she left Arnav, staring speechless after another Gupta for the second time that day.

Okies that's it for today. I hope Arnav and his actions now make a little more sense to you all, as I had many of you question why he was doing what he was in my story so I hope this explains it, if u still have questions do ask n i will try n clear ur confusion.

N I shall be back 2morro at some point with the nxt chaps...n o yeah good news to u all, I am done writing the whole story, so will be providing u all with daily updates. n if ur wondering y im being evil n not updating the whole thing together, well one i haven't finished editing the last few chapters...n then well i am a writer so yes am evil, as i want to leave u waiting a little btwn each chapts to hear each of ur thoughts on the chaps n to know what u think will happen nxt b4 i update the nxt bit so...sorry but hey u win some u loose some right 😉 (u win by getting daily updates and i by u daily thoughts on my updates 😊)

chapter 1 she had so much hope on a new future with him all the loved she was denied all the pains she went through to save him putting her dignity and honor at stake just to hear that hope full words i will not divorce you

chapter 2 when she thought he would stick with her forever and he loved her he told her he never believed her and her lover and everything he did was for his sier and she will have to stay with him forever because she has to paying for every tear that fell out of his di eyes he really is a bas***d not sure if there is s difference between asr and snake

chapter 3 poor khushi her heart that she gave him he ripped it apart and stomped on it she build dreams that according to asr she cold not afford and asr again his ego and his so called honor protecting his di and him self from hurt heart breaking they are both in so much pain created by a misunderstanding in asr heart and mind

chapter 4 ajali can't handle really life he has pampered her to the point she has to have a perfect world really instead of plying her and perfecting her world he need to get her help and a good shrink poor khushi she has know idea what is happening

chapter 5
nk realizing she was hurt by some one telling her he trust asr to go to him and tell him what has happen and who hurt her not knowing its asr the fool who has hurt her and the dam fool brought back snake nk is such a nice guy poor khushi she should have met him first

chapter 6 asr is a damn fool bring that snake it seriously he just put khushi and his precious di in danger and gave control of everything to snake poor khushi she has to live in a house wear she is not safe and she will be insulted all the time and asr thing he has snake under control because he have khushi in his grasp

chapter 7/8 asr is a jerk and a he does not deserve khushi his concern is his sister instead of getting her help the idiot decide to put everyone especially khushi in danger by bring that snake at back home way to go nani and payal he deserved some hard truth his ego makes him feel he is god poor khushi he has broken her completely she gave up she is in shock loved how payal spoke to him the jerk awesome update loved it well written loved how you describe the emotions and the feelings awesome every chapter perfectly done the anger the hate the despair well written perfect

OMG such an emotional roller coaster ride.. nani and NK believe kushi.. so happy for that and arnav he couldn't see what nani could see abt kushi.. glad that payal is the with kushi and standing for her...looking eagerly yo see what is gonna happen next and hope this shyam cannot do any harm to kushi ...

Wow, super intense, loved it, it's was so emotional and I just loved it, nani and Payal were great and Nk of course hate to see khushi so broken, want her to be strong and make arnav suffer till he breaks down. Thanks for the pm
