Its from Rey's POV.

After putting up the jacket I kept my one arm around her and took her out for some fresh air. There was a long silence while we were walking on the deserted street of Mumbai. It was a dead grave silence. Her eyes were still moist with tears. I turned her to face towards me. She was looking down her eyes trying hard to not to meet my gaze. There was shyness in her eyes. I placed my finger on her chin and made her look at me. She was shy but the sadness was still there in her eyes. She looked at me with her doe eyes and a blunt smile. I hugged her tightly embracing her in my arms. She sobbed a little.
Kriya: " Rey I am really so sorr. . . " she was apologising again and I didn't wanted her to feel bad.
I jerked her away trying to give her a bit of relaxation with shock.
Rey: "I don't want your apology." I said with rudeness.
Rey: "I just want your love. My baatcutter." I said and hugged her and she started to sob.
Rey: "Ssshhh" I consoled her.
After a long walk we went to college again.
I walked up with kriya into her mom's cabin she was now the principal of our college.
Rey: "Ma'am I want to talk to you." I said and she stood up and came near me.
I was about to explain and apologise to her but before I could open up my mouth to speak she landed a huge and tight slap on my cheek. I left me stunned but what shocked me more was that kriya was giggling. I loved her with shocked eyes and she looked down and shyly looked away. What was going on?
Here I am getting slapped and this baatcutter is giggling? Is she again cheating. . . .? No, no something is really wrong.
Rey looked up for answers and Smiti giggled too.
Smiti: "when you loved kriya so much then why didn't you come to get her?" she said and her words stunned me so much.
It shocked me so much. Her words. What did she say? I shook my head in questioning.
Smiti: "keep her happy always." she said and hugged me. She hugged me? Which means she accepted me? The joy was rushing in my veins instead of blood. She accepted me. This was the thing I was waiting for from so long. My eyes couldn't stop from tearing. Soon there were big fat tears in my eyes.
Oh! My God this was the most emotional moment of my life.
Kriya: "and me?" she said pouting her lips.
Rey: "no you won't get it, now she is my mom." I teased her and she jumped into a hug on us.
We did a group hug together.
All these years I never got the love of mom dad. They always filled up my bank account but never came to see me. Today I got my mom who loves me and kriya both so much.
