THE HIDDEN PAIN A Short Story...

(RTMC FF)

Part 1

Every morning she was seen jogging on the busy streets of Delhi...as usual she looked mesmerizing with the morning sun...strong and bold, committed towards her work...her only passion was her job...

She entered a big bungalow on a silent street...her Mother died few years back...she lived with her Father, a retired army officer who previously wasn't happy with his daughter working outside but today he is a proud Father and supports her in every way...

"Dad...i am getting late...i have an important meeting...will catch you in the evening..." she quickly kept her bag in the car...and drove towards the busy roads... soon she reached a building in a central city...

she wasn't late for the meeting...she wanted to be part of this enormous project...she was always waiting for this opportunity...

As she entered the main door she saw her senior Mr Shiv Kumar, a middle age man who always appreciated her work "morning Sir..."

Shiv nodded and both went towards the meeting...

"As we all know this is important case discussion...and everyone needs results...we have to face media...and now we have to really work hard...it is shocking for us to hear what's happening every day... I think we have to hand over this case to CBI"

After some time

Mr Desai gave the files to Shiv... "these are all the files related to the case"

Shiv happily greeted him "i am not handling this case..."

Mr Desai looked confused.. "Then??"

Shiv saw her while she came out from the meeting '.. "Sir...you called me..."

"Yes '.this is Mr Desai, inspector Delhi police who was handling this case before and..."

Shiv was about to complete when she took the files and shook hands with Mr Desai "Priya Khanna, CBI Officer..."
