The things that we do!!!

"aap sahi kehrahe hain nani" Anjali nodded in agreement.
"Aree khushi what are you doing. Eat slowly or you'll choke on the food" Anjali nudged her while Nani just gasped.
Khushi has gobbled down six pieces of samosas in one minute.
"Khushi are you okay?" An jali asked a little concerned. Khushi didn't look much like herself at the moment.

Flash back 10 minutes ago
"Anjali bitiya don't be so udhas... sab thik ho jayega"
"I'm scared for her nani"
"Di, Nani you guys are here and I've been searching the whole house for you guys"
Khushi stopped short seeing the crestfallen face of Nani and Anjali.
"What happened Di"
"nothing Khushi, you know Sarita Anuty's Reya?"
"yes you mentioned her lots of times what happened?"
"Well she is in ICU. She tried... tried to commit suicide . She used to live together with her bf in a separate flat without informing her parents. Even I didn't know that. After living together for two years when Reya wanted to get married her bf dumped her and left. She couldn't tolerate this and she tried taking her life. She loved him so much."

10 hours ago at five in the morning
"Uff, Arnav!!!! Get off me"
"Did you just kick me Khushi Kumari Gupta????"
"yes I did!! So what!! What will you do???" She said folding her arms.
"Is that a challenge Gupta?? I'll show you what I can do" he said with a smirk .
Khushi understanding his intention didn't get a chance to even protest before he straddled her and pinned her hands over her head.
"I don't like it when you do that" she said in mock anger
"Do what??" he asked although he knew what she was saying.
"Arnav you know very well I can't sleep" she pouted
"But baby I can't sleep if I don't touch you" he fought back
Like all the other things in their life here also Arnav Khushi took different stands. Khushi was a extreme light sleeper. Even if anyone touched her ever so lightly she'd wake up with a jerk. On the other hand our Raizada boy here loved hugging, cuddling and touching her in sleep. First first Khushi conceded but now she found it annoying. Sometimes she didn't say anything and let him cuddle [which he ever so often did in his sleep subconsciously ] and other times she kicked him to let him know she was awake and annoyed. Sometimes he let her go, turned around and went back to sleep other times he hugged her even more tightly to annoy her more such as today morning.
But if our boy is not good at seducing our girl then he is good at nothing. In less then five minutes her annoyance turned into light moans and he was in her pants well in this case nightie.

This incident was what Khushi was remembering while she gobbled down one samosa after another while listening to Nani and Anjali's words.
Arnav made an appearance downstairs and sat in the opposite chair to Khushi. Looking at Khushi eating he understood something drastic has happened and made a mental note to steer clear of her way today.
That is when she glared angrily at him and stomped away.
"what the hell did I do??" he was left wondering.

12 O'clock at night
Arnav tip-toed to Nani and Di's rooms making sure they are asleep. After he was totally sure he tip-toed to Khushi's room with a wide smile in his face. Khushi might be mad for god knows what reason but he can seduce her in minutes and to tell the truth he loved seducing the angry khusi. He actually without any reason angered her sometimes because seducing her then was so much fun.
Thinking up ways he turned the handle of Khushi's room.
It didn't budge
Wait what!!! Khushi never closed her door no matter how angry she is. She knew he'd make an entrance now.
Maybe she made a mistake he thought. He knocked the door lightly whispering "Khushi... honey... open the door"
No reply
"Khushi I know you are not sleeping... open the door"
"Khushi!!!!!"
"okay are you mad about today morning??? I swear I'll not touch you when you sleep... now open the bloody door"
He tried the next ten minutes but when she didn't open he left for his room.

The next morning
Khushi had left for uni before he went downstairs and dodged him somehow when he searched for her in Uni.
This continued for the next two days.
He only saw her in front of the family members and there also she point blank refused to look at him.

Arnav had had enough

Today there was a party at Raizada house. Amma and Babuji has returned from Lucknow for two days to see Khushi and Payal and was also staying at raizada house.
"Kushi"
"ji amma"
"wear this red anarkali dress"
"But why?? my skirt is nice"
"I feel like seeing my daughter in salwar kameez thats why"
"okay fine"
...
"Khushi bitiwa, come here. Meet Mr and Mrs. Mehta and their son Rajesh. Rajesh also studied in your university you know but he is three years your senior"
Instantly her light jal gayi and she understood what was happening. She was being set up although in a very subtle way
She was thinking of ways to fled the place when she saw Arnav. Her batti fir se jal gayi.
"Come Rajesh ji I'll show you the house" she said shocking everyone.
"ok lets go" Rajesh answered.
As soon as Arnav saw Khushi smiling and it did look like flirting!!! with a good looking guy she couldn't control his anger.
He asked nani "who's that guy with Khushi?""
"He's Rajesh Mehta's son. They saw khushi at a party and love her. Khushi k liye rishta le ke aya hain"
HEaring nothing else Arnav marched forward, took hold of her hand and pulled her away infront of everyone to his room and closed it.
"What the hell Arnav"
"what the hell Khushi" he said grabbing her shoulders
"So this is the reason you were avoiding me... you want to marry someone else!!!"
"No!! I avoided you because you don't want to marry me"
"what??" he asked totally puzzled. This girl is mad!!!!!
"you don't want to marry me!!"
"did I tell you that??"
"no... you don't have to. Reya tried to commit suicide you know. she's in ICU"
"how does that fit in??"
"she lived with a guy for two years and he left her."
"so you think I'll also leave you" he said genuinely hurt
"we are going out for a year now Arnav. My family is looking to set me up and you are yet to propose"
"that is because you didn't want to marry until you completed your graduation"
"well..." yeah he is actually right she thought and was really feeling guilty now
"If you want to marry okay good... tomorrow I'll announce to everyone. Your parents are also here now"
"sach" she jumped throwing her arms around his neck.
"ye..." khushi didn't let him finish as she kissed him fully.
...
20 minutes later
"god khushi, I missed you so much this last two days"
"i missed you too"
As Arnav was going to gather his clothes Khushi held his hand.
"arnav"
"haan"
"I think we should wait to get married till we graduate in July"
"What!!! After doing all this you are now saying this" The vein in his head was near bursting.
Khushi gave him the most beautiful smile ever and said "sorry" holding her ears.
All is forgiven now.
"What will you tell everyone downstairs. You literally dragged me here"
"They'll assume we are fighting as usual"
They both hugged each other, dressed and appeared downstairs making an excuse while no one doubted them.
All is good in Arhiland for now.
