Saying that, she quickly started cleaning, confusing Swayam. She whispered to him, "Understand dear, boyfriend. This will give them some more time together."

Swayam made an understanding 'OH' face and gave her an impressed look and he started washing the plates faster too.

Chapter 5

Kriya and Rey looked at Sharon wide eyed and neither of them wanted to work. It was after a long time that Sharon herself was doing the dishes. They wanted to take pleasure of seeing her work more. Thus, both of them started eating the food as fast as possible.

But Sharon was no less. She knew they'd do something like that. She herself picked up the pace of cleaning. Seeing that, Swayam understood what was going on and he too did his best to keep up with Sharon.

It was now a turned battle to see if Rey and Kriya would finish eating first or Sharon and Swayam would finish the cleaning first. A third person, if present, would have completely had gotten the thrill of a life-time seeing the intense competition. Rey and Kriya felt like laughing at themselves and the other for just stuffing food in their mouth and trying hard to swallow it raw instead of chewing at it.

They were least bothered about their fluffed mouths. They just continued putting one piece of food after another in their mouth. Swayam looked back once to look at Rey and he ended up stifling a laugh seeing his state.

A minute later, Rey and Kriya picked up their plates and rushed inside the kitchen to hand them their plates. But to their horror, Swayam and Sharon were standing at the doorway, hands crossed across their chests and blocking their way to enter. Their hands were completely dry indicating that they were done doing the dishes and so the left over would have to be done by them.

Kriya looked behind them and the cleaned stack on plates and vessels on the drying rack confirmed that Sharon and Swayam were indeed done.

"Oh no." she moaned, much to Sharon and Swayam's pleasure.

Sharon replied, "Oh yes my sister. I'm no fool." She looked at Rey and continued, "Now go on both of you and finish the rest. I'm going to go pick out a movie to watch."

At the same time, Swayam and Sharon moved to the either sides of the door to allow Rey and Kriya to enter the kitchen. Sulkily, both dragged themselves inside the kitchen. Grinning to themselves, Sharon and Swayam left to give them time alone with the excuse of 'picking out a movie to watch' even though all four of them knew what movie they were going to watch.

'Titanic'. Yup, that was the only movie they would ever watch on their get together's. The first time they had done this, they ended up watching Titanic and they had had so much fun! Girls were tearing their eyes away and the boys comforted them, not knowing the reason why the girls had become so emotional.

The second time, it was just a co-incidence as they were all learning about love and confused whether they were in love or not. Indirectly, they had all decided to watch Titanic. Ever since, it had just been like a custom of theirs' to watch Titanic each time they got together. It was a different matter that most of the time, they weren't even watching. They would just get busy talking sweet nothings' to their lovers. 😉

Kriya picked up the scrubber and added some liquid soap to it and started her part. Rey waited for her to get a head start and then started washing the plates. Unknown to them, Sharon and Swayam were back a second later to watch if their plan would succeed.

Sharon realized cleaning just two plates; some bowls and a couple of spoons won't buy enough time for them to spend some time together. Putting her mind at work, her eyes fell on the table where the leftover food was still sitting in the bowls. She elbowed Swayam and once he looked at her, she motioned towards the bowl through eye movements.

After a couple of nudges, Swayam got what she was trying to say without speaking. He nodded at her and went to pick them up. He transferred the left overs in the plastic containers and quietly snuck behind them in the kitchen with bowls in his hand and pushed between both of them seeing a good opportunity.

Both looked bewildered at him. He simply put the bowls inside the sink, under running water and said. "Enjoy!" He again left.

Rey and Kriya watched him go. They felt like strangling them for making their work more. But quietly, having no other choice, Kriya took one of the bowls and started scrubbing it. Rey paused to look at Kriya's angry face and got lost in the beauty for a second.

She looks even cuter and beautiful being mad. He thought to himself. In time, he pulled his thoughts back to line. He couldn't let them distract him from the current work; especially when she was standing just close to him. As he turned to focus his attention at the plate in his hand, his arm brushed her hand, making her conscious of the gaze that turned to her again.

As a result, the scrubber instantly dropped from her hand the second his arm touched hers. His one simple touch had created wonders in her body, sending shrills down her spine. She suddenly stiffened and did all she could to avoid looking back at him. But the dropping of the scrubber had given the fact away that she was trying to ignore the close space between them.

On the other hand, Rey was happy. Yes, he was happy to see the effect he had on her. He thought to himself. With just one touch of mine, her body goes numb. And still she says she needs time' He shook his head with pleasure. One small movement of hers had brought back all the confidence in him. He, then and there, pledged that he would gain her trust back no matter what. He wouldn't be doubtful at all and would do everything in his power to make her believe in him and his love.

Kriya shut her eyes to brush the feelings away and opened them again with strong determination. She sighed inwardly, not making it obvious on the outside and forwarded to pick up the scrub. At the same time, Rey moved his hand forward as well to pick it up for her. As she had moved first, her hand landed on the scrubbed and his ended up on top of hers.

Again, she shivered at the touch. It was so versatile that it seemed to touch her inner soul. She fought back hard and looked into his eyes. One thing she knew for sure; if she avoided him now, the rest of the night would be very heavy hearted for her. He looked back at her, searching for one hint that would tell him what he was waiting to hear for what seemed to be ages now!

Looking into his eyes, she felt as if he could see each and every thing she was going through. As always, she felt as if he could see her inner soul and hear the unspoken. She just expressed through her eyes knowing that he would catch it and understand.

On the other side of the house, Sharon and Swayam high-fived each other at success of part one. Next, Sharon pulled Swayam towards the back of the house and stopped when they reached the water line. Swayam was confused again and asked, "What are we doing here?"

"Ofo Swayam! Why are you being slow today?!"

"What?! It's a genuine question. What are we doing here, outside in the dark when we should be inside? Do you have any naughty plans?" he joked taking a step towards her and circling his hands around her waist, pulling her closer in an instant.

He looked at her slyly and she, for a second blushed. She would have stayed that way, if not for the voice shouting at her from the back of her hand. After a few tries, she wriggled out of Swayam's hold and replied back.

"Very funny Swayam. But right now, I need you as a plumber, and not my sweet, cute, lovely boyfriend." She started out demanding and ended the sentence dreamily.

He decided to use the romantic moment later on and finish the work. The faster he was over with what she wanted him to do, the better and more time he can have her to himself. "Plumber? Sharon, what exactly is your plan?"

"I just want you to block the line for a few seconds." She replied confident.

"What?" He stopped knowing that it was another one of her plan and if he tried to understand, he'd go crazy trying to figure out the logic! Thus he decided to just quietly follow her instructions. "Never mind. Do not answer that. Just go get a torch."

She nodded and left. She was back in no time. Swayam had only managed to roll up her sleeves when she came back. He bent down and sat on his knees while she did she same holding the torch for him. Being smart that she was, she had brought the tool box along with her.

He smiled at her and started thinking of a way to block the water just for a few seconds. He did a few things here and there while operating the main water tap. After a bit of difficulty, he made a hole in the pipe to let sufficient air in and sealed it tight again. He got up with confidence in his work.

"There, done." He said while he got up.

Without letting him take a sigh of relief, she pulled him back inside excited. "Let's see if it worked."

He lost his balance at the sudden pull but she was already running while holding her hand. He managed himself and continued to let her lead him inside. A small smile played on his lips. Once inside, both came to a stop at the same hide out place and watched from around the corner.

They saw Rey and Kriya lost in each other's eyes. Seconds later, they moved their eyes away to their lands which lay on top of the other. Kriya became hesitant again and moved her fingers, letting him know what she wanted. Slowly, he moved his hand away and mumbled a low sorry. Normally, no one would have been able to hear it but the close space between them allowed her to hear it. She looked away and so did he.

Not making another eye contact, she picked up the scrub and did all in her might to calm her breathing and the rise of feelings inside of her. Rey, on the contrary, was having his own pleasure seeing her struggle to control herself. His hopes reached a new level, knowing that it was only a matter of few more days till she was ready to give their relationship another chance. He too got back to his washing.

After putting the plate away, he picked up the bowl and the water went out. Both went confused, looked at each other, and back at the water tap. Rey gently tapped the tap, thinking something must have blocked it. When that didn't work, he transferred the line from tap to the sprinkler next to the tap.

(Khushi's note: Guys, don't get confused here. This actually can happen. I have it at my house too. 😆 Just think of it as a small fountain sprinkler. It's usually available just in case the vessel is big and can't be put under tap.)

That didn't work as well. Sharon giggled softly. That was her plan. The water won't come and then, it would come with such force that the water will be all over them. And that is exactly what happened. Rey moved his face closer to the sprinkler to figure out the problem when the water came splashing on her face, making his take a big step backwards immediately.

In the process, he turned the sprinkler around and the water came on Kriya. She gasped and turned her face away from the water that was aimed right as her. It had started coming again with such force that it drenched both of them. Water started to make a puddle on the kitchen floor as well. Trying to look at where the sprinkler was while avoiding the water as well, she moved her hand around in air.

In attempt to do the same, Rey moved his hand around as well. Now call it destiny, fate, co-incidence, filmy, or anything else, both kept their hands over the sprinkler at the same time. The same as before, both lost sense of the world and looked at each other. The little water that was still coming on them didn't bother them anymore. It was just him and her looking at each other in a deep sense and nothing else.

Kriya hand lay on top of Rey's. When the cold started to take over her, their eye lock broke as she sneezed. Her hands, now covering her face. Rey looked away at the sprinkler and turned it off.

Swayam nudged Sharon and she came out of her world. She was feeling as if watching a live movie with the things happening at perfect timings. She came in the kitchen to act surprised and not let them know about their plan at all.

She freaked, "Oh my God! What is all this?! The water's all over the floor guys. Did you guys fall asleep while cleaning just a few plates and bowls?"

Both felt embarrassed. For cleaning just a little amount, they surely were taking a lot of time! They looked down at the floor and she continued. "And both of you are wet as well!" As if on cue, Kriya sneezed again. "See, you're even sneezing now! Go change clothes before it gets worse. You too Rey; Tell Swayam' he might have a pair for you. I'll finish up here."

They both looked at her and stared, not sure if they should leave. She insisted, "Goo! Don't just stand here!" they took a run for it before she changed her mind.

After they were out of sight, Sharon grinned to herself. Another success for the night! Now just a few more to go!! Swayam popped out of around the corner and gave her a 'thumbs up' sign. She replied back to it and he rushed to attend Rey, before he got suspicious. Kriya had rushed to her room to change. She didn't have to worry about not having another pair of clothes to wear after all.

Swayam entered the room where Rey was about to enter. He quickly threw aside the shirt he had laying around so that Rey would have nothing to change into. And so, the next part of the plan began.

(This is all that I typed yesterday. I had to retype everything as I deleted the word doc while cleaning my folders. 😭 But don't worry, this turned out to be better than what I had first typed 😆 That is the reason I cannot post the full update today. Got held up retyping. I have ti leave now for a party and won't be back till night. I'll complete when I come back.)

And here is the thing. I send 120+ pms and only receive around 55-60 likes and even less comments. I have decided. If in TWO days I do not get 95 and more likes and at least 90 comments of views from different members (this won't mean spamming from one member itself so 90 posts can be made) then I put stop the FF. So now you guys decide. If you want me to continue, then give me the likes and comments. The future is now up to the readers. It would be a shame to stop this FF when it's come such a long way. I've tried my best to not get sad and kept putting notes but I'm done now. If no one is going to read and comment, then I might as well keep the FF to myself.
