now this is quite an interesting one...dont understand mayank's logic but i guess when concern doesnt stop a person from being suicidal, you have to resort to such odd methods...nevertheless mayank's character is quite intriguing...find it peculiar that he takes such a special interest in nupur...btw im impressed that you're writing 2 stories side by side 😳 😆

Chapter # 12
Warmth

Nupur sighed due to something hypnotic rubbing on her cheek. Half in slumber, she decided to ignore and sleep again, but the run was so intoxicating that she opened her eyes, and not even expecting in her wildest dreams, it was Mayank, making patterns on her cheek with his fingers, softly and tenderly. Taking a sharp intake of breath, she jerked his hand and sat up straight, "what is it?", she asked, completely dumbfounded to react she just looked blankly, when Mayank moved close and tucked her loose hair behind her ears, "I was waking you up", he smiled and in his voice echoed in the enchanting silence.

"why?", Nupur questioned back, letting his eyes tangle hers'.

"Something as beautiful as you is waiting for you", he whispered, and as he did, he shifted his position and in a flash of second is arms went around her waist and her weight wsa lifted up from the bed, in his arms.

"This time I hope we have a good lift", he winked and too mesmerized to even answer Nupur threw her arms around his neck, and unfortunately or fortunately for Nupur, before she could aim her eyes at his inviting lips, she was placed back on the ground, just in front of the glass door of balcony. She looked at Mayank confusedly, but he was busy opening the blinds of terrace and just when Nupur was about to question, Mayank threw open the blinds and the view caught her breath.

The whole sky was of light yellowish color, and the extreme wind was shaking every single leaf of the trees aside. The whole world seemed to lit up at midnight.

"it's about to snow", Mayank whispered, leaning on her ear, and Nupur led out an audible sigh, "OH MY GOD", letting out an excited giggle, she was quickly busy in opening the lock and Mayank quickly held her hands, "what exactly are u upto now?"

"I am going out on the balcony to enjoy the weather", she untangled her hands from ' and again opening the lock, she was about to throw open the door when Mayank yet again stopped her, "it is freezing outside Nupur!!"

"so?", Nupur smiled, and looked in his eyes, "you said your arms will be enough to keep me warm so now its your problem, not mine", grinning she threw open the door and ran in the balcony, with open arms.

It was indeed freezing outside, just stepping in the balcony; she felt chilled wind cracking her skin. It felt like dawn in midnight, involuntarily her eyes filled with tears, it was silence everywhere, just the sounds of wind were echoing with her heartbeat. She closed her eyes and gripped the ice cold metal railing on the balcony when something warm pressed over her hands. She opened her eyes, and it was Mayank, his muscular strong hands forcefully untangling her hands from the railing. "ho gaya?. He placed a shawl around her shoulders from back and very softly enclosed her shivering body in his strong arms.

With her lips trembling, she tried to utter a few words but Mayank sensed her tries before and tenderly making her turn in his arms, he captured her lips softly in a warm kiss to reduce her shiver,

"enough for today, time to go indoors", he whispered and within a second she was raised from the ground in his arms, and was being carried inside, she decided to throw her arms around him and snuggle and close her eyes. She needed warmth.

Awww.. The beauty of snow and the warmth of thr new relation was simply AWSOME princess! And the description of the scene was visual enough to make one sigh!

Hats off to u ONCE AGAIN!! this update ws a PURE BLISSFUL MAGIC!! thank u soo soo much for makin MN magic still intact evn aftr two years since show ended.. :)
