University started and I haven't had a chance to finish the latest chapter yet.
It's only like 3/4 done .
I'm actually working on it now.
it should be up either in a few hours or tomorrow.

Yeah University is making me so busy.
And it's only week 2 LOL
But I will still have time to write. Just not as often as I'd like haha
But promise you babe. Tomorrow a brand new chapter will be up.
I would post it tonight. But I want to edit it when I'm not so tired that I'll miss out on all the mistakes LOL. So tomorrow. PROMISE <3

I just love this part!.. I was just soo fun-filled!.. I loved how you showed the change in the characters - the serious side to Arjun&Preeti and the funny side of Ranveer&Anjali!.. and once again you portrayed it soo well! 👍🏼

Am soo happy the Sameer nd Sweety's plan falied!.. 😆

"Calling the pavement stupid, won't make you any smarter." Ranveer smirked. 😆 I love the relationship between the 2 brothers!.. It soo sweet!..

"Karan, tumhara Arjun kahan hai?" Preeti asked with a grin. 😆

"Of all the people in here, why the hell does she keep finding me?" 🤣 & Anjali had currently situated herself on the ledge of the balcony, throwing chips at the people walking below. "No. I like it up here. And leave me alone. I'm feeding people." Seriously, the dialogues you come up with are just awesome! 👏

Anjali knocked Kunal's 2 front teeth out!.. That would have been hilarious to read!

The scene when Arjun called Preeti beautiful nd she blushed!.. This was me:

"I'm just trying to understand the so-called logic of this movie. So Edwin is a fairy?" he asked, totally confused.

"It's EDWARD, and he's a vampire!"

"Ohh. That's ...no I think he's a fairy."

I was laughing at that for hours!.. Am serious!.. This is without doubt my most fav scene so far in the Fan-Fic!.. You are AWESOME!..

Over to the VM's am actually speechless now!.. How can someone be soo talented!.. The video's went perfect with the song! nd the the effects were just amazing!..

The Arjun nd Preeti VM was awesome, even though they havnt acted together, you made the videomix seem so real!.. 👏

(He's always criticizing what I watch LOL)
But yeaaah. That's where I got it from.
I was tempted to use the whole Vampire Diaries Line
where Damon calls Edward whipped LOL
But I figured I'd leave that for another chapter :)

Hey everyone. I'm really sorry about the delay. It's just that it is week 2 of University. And they've been piling on the homework. So That's why I didn't get to write. But, I won't forget about this story ! I will try my best and update every week ! So once again sorry. + thaaanks so, so much for the comments and likes on the previous chapter. They really mean a lot. <3

Anjali hesitantly cracked one eye open, wincing as the sunlight pouring through the window burned her eye. Her head was killing her and her throat felt like she had swallowed a liter of acid. Quickly shutting her eye, she pulled the covers over her head and rolled over. Much to her shock, she collided into something, or rather, someone.

'Wait, where am I?' she thought, taking in her surroundings. 'This isn't my room.' Looking down at her self, she saw that she was wearing a large, black button down shirt. 'These aren't my clothes!' she panicked.

Suddenly remembering the 'thing' that was also in the bed, she looked over in horror. There she saw Ranveer, sound asleep, completely oblivious to the nervous breakdown she was about to have. Instantly thinking the worst, she couldn't help the tears that sprung to her eyes, and let out a loud wail, effectively waking up Ranveer.

"Whaa-? What happened?" he asked groggily, head snapping up and looking around frantically. Spotting a very upset Anjali, he sighed and ran his hand over his face.

'Well, this should go well.' he thought sarcastically. "Anjali," he said gently, trying to calm her down. Scooting away from his outstretched arm, she scampered to the very edge of the bed, crying even louder than before.

"Look, it isn't what you're thinking ok?" Ranveer tried again. "I mean, if that's what you're thinking, I mean... " he said trailing off, when all he did was make her wail louder. "Just let me explain." He said reaching for her again. "And for god's sake Anjali, stop crying!" He snapped, effectively cutting off her crying.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to yell." he sighed. "But do you remember anything at all from last night?"

She just shook her head.

"Of course not." he said. "What's the last thing you remember?"

Anjali thought for a minute. They were supposed to go home after the whole Arjun-Preeti-Kunal fiasco. 'What was it they stayed back for again?'

"Well?" he asked.

"Sameer asked me to stay back for a while." She said remembering the very unpleasant feeling she had when she saw Ranveer with Sweety. "You were all busy. So I thought everyone had decided to stay back a little longer."

"That's all you remember?" He asked her.

"You mean besides you flirting with Sweety?" She asked him, with a glare. "That's all."

"I was not-" he started, but then thought better of it. "Never mind. But here, let me refresh your memory. You were completely wasted last night. All credit goes to Sameer for that." he spat Sameer's name out hatefully.

"What do you mean wasted?" she asked worriedly. "I don't drink. I had a Pepsi. That's all."

"He said your drinks got mixed up."

"No. That couldn't be right. Sameer wasn't drinking either." she said thinking back. Last night was becoming less and less of a blur to her.

Ranveer looked up meeting her gaze. Putting the pieces together, he realized Sweety and Sameer had planned the entire thing together. "Those f- " He stopped abruptly. "Sameer and Sweety were responsible for whatever happened last night." He said, more to himself.

"Sameer wouldn't do that." Anjali defended her friend, albeit weakly.

Ranveer turned to her, giving her a cold glare. "Oh, of course. Your Sameer would never do that." He told her sarcastically.

"You don't know him." she retorted.

"Apparently neither do you. You're a smart girl Anjali." He told her seriously. "Think about it."

Looking away, she dropped the subject. "Ok. I was drunk. That doesn't explain..." she trailed off tugging on the shirt nervously.

"It took me about 2 hours to get you home. Thanks for that by the way. Preeti helped put you to sleep." he said. "Then you appear in my room at 3 am, still out of it, and decide that you'll only sleep here."

"And you let me?!" She asked incredulously. "What were you thinking? What will everyone else think?"

"What was I thinking? I was thinking that its freaking 3 in the morning, and if I didn't let you stay, you'd scream bloody murder and wake the whole neighborhood." he told her.

"Did Arjun see me?" She asked worriedly.

"No, he was snoring by that time."

Letting out a sigh of relief, she flopped back onto the bed, only to spring back up again. "Wait. Where are my clothes!?"

Ranveer held his hands up. "Don't ask me. I went to sleep. And you fell asleep on the sofa."

Looking over at the sofa in the corner of the room, she vaguely recalled spilling a glass of water on herself and then changing into whatever she grabbed hold of in the dark. 'I must've forgotten I wasn't in my own room.' She concluded, figuring that was why she had probably ended up on the bed.

Glancing back at Ranveer, she saw how tense he looked. He was probably expecting another tantrum from her. Not that she blamed him. She must've put him through a tough time.

Ranveer averted his eyes as she got up and searched around for her clothes. The last thing he needed was for her to start crying again. Anjali noticed this and smirked at his discomfort. "Kya hua Ranveer?" She asked innocently, going to stand right in front of him.

"Nothing." He replied, still not looking at her.

"You know, it's not very gentleman-ly to make a girl sleep on the couch." She said laughing and turning to walk away.

Before she got away he grabbed her by the wrist pulling her back onto the bed. In the next instant, he had them flipped over so he was on top. Chuckling at her surprised look, he moved a strand of hair away from her face. He internally debated whether or not this was a good idea. 'To hell with it.' he thought, leaning forward and pressing her lips to hers in a scorching kiss, his lips forming an easy smile as he felt her reciprocate.

"NO WAY!" Preeti gasped.

Arjun merely nodded. "Would I lie to you?"

Preeti went to open her mouth, and he cut her off. "Don't answer that. But I'm telling you, Anjali slept in Ranveer's room!"

Preeti watched him with wide eyes. Her sweet, seedhi-saadhi sister?! No way.

"You don't believe me right?" he asked with a knowing grin. "Even I didn't believe it! Believe me, Ranveer is so old-fashioned. I would have never believed you in a million years-"

"Gee, thanks.."

"You know what I mean!" he laughed. Internally, he was already figuring out ways to make sure this fake rishta, became a real one.

Preeti smiled at him. Much to the dismay of the staff in the house, Preeti and Arjun had not fought at all. Not even a snide comment.

"Bhaiya would pop a vessel if he found out." Preeti said, getting up to put her and Arjun's plates in the sink. "Good thing he's gone for a while."

Turning around she jumped back when she came face to face with Arjun. "What are you doing?" She asked him nervously.

"What am I doing?" he asked in mock confusion. When she went to move past him, he put both hands on the counter behind her, successfully blocking her path.

"Arjun, move." she told him sternly. "Someone will see and get the wrong idea."

"And what exactly is this 'wrong idea'?" he asked moving even closer.

"That me and you..."

"Me and you..." He urged, even closer now.

"Preeti baby, Phone!" she heard the maid shout from the living room.

Preeti made a move to go, but Arjun wasn't budging.

"Me and you, what?" He asked.

"Preeti baby, It's your brother!!!!" she heard the maid yell again.

"Arjun, let me go. Bhaiya will get mad." she pleaded.

He smiled, finally released her, and she almost ran into the living room, without giving him another glance.

Sighing, he ran a hand through his hair. "Yeh Raj na, always comes in between."
