Character Sketch.

Ranveer Mehra
27 . ATB Officer.
Ranveer is a serious, no-nonsense type of guy.
He is also very short-tempered.
He and Arjun have been best friends since the age of 4.
His Mom and Arjun are the only family he has.

Arjun Khurana.
27. ATB Officer.
Arjun is the total opposite of Ranveer.
He is care-free, laid back, and a complete flirt.
He lost both of his parents when he was 8.
Since then he has stayed with Ranveer and his mom.

Anjali Sharma
23. Medical Student .
Anjali is reserved and very intelligent.
She is working on her Medical Internship.
Anjali is the Fraternal twin of Preeti.
& They have an older brother , Raj.

Preeti Sharma
23. Art Student.
Preeti is a modern and outgoing girl.
She is an art student.
Although she and her sister are poles apart,
they are each others best friend.

Rajendra Sharma
28.Various Job Titles.
Rajendra Sharma .. aka - Raj is the legal guardian
for both of his younger sisters.
When their parents died they were taken in
by their uncle (their father's step-brother).
Legally Raj owns a company that sells and manufactures arms.
Illegally, Raj Sharma is one of India's most infamous smugglers.

Raj's Fiancee.
Aware of Raj's misgivings,
She is constantly trying to
bring him onto the right path.

Sameer Diwan.
27. Various Job Titles.
Best Friend and Right Hand Man of Raj.
Hopelessly in love with Anjali.
Although, much to his disappointment,
she is completely unaware of his feelings.

Sweety Modi.
23. Socialite.
Being the only daughter of a millionaire,
Sweety is spoiled rotten.
She has a sense of entitlement,
and holds an old grudge against Preeti and Anjali.

Poonam Mehra
51. Housewife.
Mother of Ranveer and
Adoptive mother of Arjun.

Raunak Sharma
52. Various Job Titles.
Paternal Uncle of Raj, Anjali & Preeti.
Though not by blood.
He was the younger step-brother
of Raj's father.

Hello Everyone :)
{if anyone's even reading this}

This will be my very first FF.
Well it's not so much a FF . . .
More of an original story.
But there are pieces here and there
that might remind people of ' Sajda Tere Pyar Mein '
like -- ATB officer , Shaleen , Deblina etc. etc.

My writing may suck, so feel free to give suggestions :)
They are very much welcome !
Also my hindi isn't that good, so it'll probably be mostly written in English.

That being said, if anybody is interested enough in this,
I will post the 1st chapter soon :)

OUUU ! This seems really interesting. I like hw u mixed up the cast. this is much needed as lots of people r really missin STPM these days. I cant wait for chapter1!!!!!!!! whoz gonna end up with who? lolz.. anyways.. plz plzzz continue soon. im waiting eagerly here

Mumbai - 7:00 am.

*Feel the heat/Feel the kick/Feel the power/Feel the punch/Aao ji, bau ji/Dil se dil milao ji/Aa gaya hai Dekho bodyguard/Sabse hot--* A hand reaches out hitting the alarm clock, trying to turn it off. "Why won't this freaking thing SHUT UP!"... and then, said hand, proceeds to pick up the clock and fling it across the room.

"Much Better." he mumbled into the new found silence. All of a sudden the song started playing louder right into his ear.

" What the HELL Ranveer?!" Arjun shouted to Ranveer who held up his phone with a smirk on his face. "Honestly. Is their no decency left in this world? It's SATURDAY ! I'm entitled to sleep in a little bit don't you think? And another thing! What-"
"Shut up Arjun. Chief called. He wants to see us in his office at 9. Get ready." With that Ranveer tossed the phone at him and started out of the room, leaving Arjun with an outraged look on his face.
" BUT IT'S ONLY 7 !"

" Stupid Ranveer.. thinks he can order everyone around all the time..." mumbled Arjun. Coming to the kitchen, he spotted Poonam Mehra busy making breakfast.

"Morning Maa." he passed by her giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Good morning Beta." she replied with a smile.

Arjun had been living with Ranveer and his mother since he was 8. Both of his parents had died in a car accident and Mrs. Mehra had adopted him. She loves Arjun like her own son and never differentiated between him and Ranveer.

Looking over at Arjun's pout, she stifled a laugh. "What's wrong Arjun? You look like someone told you Katrina Kaif was really a man."

This time she couldn't help but laugh at his horrified face.
" MAA ! Do NOT joke about that. Are TRYING to traumatize me?"

"Accha theek hai baba. I'm done with the jokes. Now tell me. Kya hua?"

At that moment Ranveer walked into the kitchen with a grin on his face.

" Ask him. "

Mrs. Mehra looked over to Ranveer disapprovingly.
"Ranveer. What'd you do to my poor Arjun?"

"Nothing Maa. I swear. All I did was wake him up so we would be on time for a meeting for once in our lives."

"Yeah, well good job! You've woken me up on time, and proceeded to deaf me in my right ear! You happy? "

Ranveer merely shrugged. "If by that, you mean happy about the fact that we'll be on time? Then yes. I'm immensely happy Arjun."

Mrs. Mehra chuckled as Arjun went back to his pouting and grumbling.

" So what do you think this is about?" Arjun asked seriously as he and Ranveer made their way to the Chief's office.

"Honestly, I haven't a clue. All Chief said was that it's urgent."

"Morning Ranveer Sir, Arjun Sir."
They nodded as they passed their colleagues.

They passed by the secretary who motioned for them to go straight in. Arjun winked at her as they passed.
Ranveer shook his head at him. "Tu kabhi nahi sudhrega."
Arjun simply laughed."Hey, why fix something that isn't broken?"

The Chief of the ATB (Anti-Terrorism Bureau) looked at the two men in front of him. Ranveer, as usual looked rather serious, and Arjun was playing with a pen.

He cleared his throat as he passed them each a folder.

"Ranveer, Arjun, this is your new assignment. It will take longer than the others you've had."

Ranveer, who was going through his folder, paused briefly.
"Rajendra Sharma... I've heard this name before."

Chief smiled. "Yes. The two of you should be familiar with this name. It's the main reason you were given this assignment. Perhaps you should read through his background information. It might give you a clue."

The light bulb went off in Arjun's head the same time as it did in Ranveer's. "Ranveer! Don't you remember him ?! We were neighbors. Raj Sharma, he went to school with us. Then one summer he just moved away."

"Yeah, I remember him. But that was a long time ago. Like Arjun said Chief, he moved away. We never heard from him again. What's he got to do with us?"

" Raj Sharma - currently owns an Arms Manufacturing Company. Legally. However, he has been under suspicion of many illegal businesses also. Drug smuggling being one of the top offenses. Others included on the list are illegal weapon distribution, money counterfeiting, murder, you know, the basics of any underworld criminal."

"Alright, now I'm confused. Why is this guy still roaming the streets if you have all this dirt on him?" asked Arjun.

"Because all of these would be baseless accusations in the court of law. There needs to be solid evidence. This where you two come in."

Now it was Ranveer's turn to be confused. "What is it you want us to do? We can't break into the guy's house, guns blazing, to arrest him if there's no arrest warrant."

"No, you most definitely cannot. Ranveer Mehra and Arjun Khurana, your next assignment is to infiltrate Raj Sharma's gang in order to gather evidence. Read through those files carefully. You leave for Delhi tonight.

Mumbai Airport 10:40 pm.

Ranveer and Arjun have boarded their flight.

"Why aren't we in First Class?" complained Arjun. " You think they'll let us switch?"

"Do you ever stop talking? Have you even read the files yet?"
Ranveer was beyond annoyed. Sure, Arjun was his brother, he'd die for him. But sometimes all he wanted to do was slam his head against a wall.

All he could think about was finding a way to gain entry into Raj's house. It would probably be a whole lot easier if Raj remembered them. They needed to come up with a way to win Raj's trust. And fast.

"Hey, Ranveer?"

"Hmm?"

"Have you gotten to the file of Raj's sisters yet?"

"No... why do you ask?"

"You have to see these girls! They're HOT ! "

"I'm going to sleep. Wake me up when we get there." grumbled Ranveer, covering his head with his pillow.

* Well there you have it. Chapter 1.

OMG LIZ. this is FREAKIN AMAZING!!!!

Im in LOVE. Thank you SOOO much for starting this!!! much needed, esp. since we are all missing Sajda and RanYa soo much...

This is really really really good!!! I love the concept, and I love your star cast! Obviously,... the best thing you did here was keep our RanYa together in the form of Ranveer&Anjali lolol and I really love Iqbal Khan, Amrita Rao, and Karan Wahi... so like... this is PERFECT lol I can imagine them in my head as I read,.. and its wonderful! Fab writing!

I love your first chapter, and can NOT WAIT until you continue!!!

This is beautiful. Im just so happy I have this to read now... lol <3<3 YOU ROCK.
