D-M: her boyfriend?

M: what do you mean?

T: thats what she said ma'am

M: but...

D: wait a minute. i think i know who angad is....angad..sounds familiar...oh yes, angad khanna!!

M: you know him?

D: no but kripa introduced me to him the last time i went to visit her...i dont remember when

M: so you knew about them?

D: ofcourse not...but they seemed really close. i mean they have known each other for like over 10 years...im not completely sure.

M: 10 years? wow...how come you never told me this?

D: i didnt know until like what 5 months ago...and i completely forgot to tell you about him. i didnt think it was important.

M: important? come on surya...she's my daughter. i have the right to know what she's doing.

D: i know i know...i should have told you. but i cant believe that she never confronted us with this. we are her parents after all...and i thought that after all these years apart, she's going to want to talk to us but...i guess she's never going to change.

M: but we are her parents and we have to forgive her for being so indifferent to us all these years. she always wanted to be away from us and now...and now the first step to making her feel like we love her...making her want to care about us...is by keeping her happy by all means. if she loves Angad then she's going to get angad.

D: yes! we have to do something soon

Kripa was still thinking about her parents. Her tears had dried up but her eyes were still red. She rested her chin on the pillow and felt the cool breeze in her air. She wondered why she was stuck in this life. All the girls in her college were envious of her. She had everything....the money, the lifestyle, the independence, the privacy. But what they didnt know was that she was sick of all this. What was the point of all this money and power if she didnt have anyone to share it with. She knew Angad was in the same position. He had everything a young man wanted too...well, expect a family. They had always depended on each other for the smallest joys of life. They always shared all their sad moments together too and at this time..Kripa wanted to share another sad moment in her life. She had never felt this unwanted in her life. She really needed Angad. Well, as they say...you think of the devil and the devil appears. Kripa heard a noise outside her window which alerted her. She quickly got up and looked outside. She looked around a bit but when she looked down, she saw Angad hanging on the pipes. She was shocked at seeing him. She lend his hand to him and he grabbed it to jump into her room. Both of them fell on the bed.

K:(whispering): what are you doing here at this time?

A: there was

K: sssshhh!!!

A(whispering): sorry...there was no one at home and i was bored so i thought i should drop by

K: acha kiya...i was bored too

A: your parents home?

K: yeah...dono khadus ghar aa gaye

A: any problem?

K: problem? nothing much...just acting like the usual jerks.

A: oh ok good. atleast we can trust our parents with their behavior.its when they are being nice that it gets fishy. they wont ever change...so i just decided to stop thinking about them

K:(looks into his eyes): why are you lying to yourself? i know you want them in your life...dont you?

A: doesnt make a difference...who ever cared about what i wanted?

K: i did! i always...

There is a knock on the door and it interrupts kripa. She looks at angad and quickly jumps. There is a knock again. Kripa gets up.

K: angad utto...mom and dad are...

A: so what? youre scared?

K: me? NO....ok yea i am....leave!!!

A: leave where? from the window? NO WAY

ANOTHER KNOCK

K: angad...ok do one thing...get under the bed....go!!!

A: under the bed? you want me to hide? ANGAD never hides

K: shut up and go!!

Kripa pushed Angad under the bed so that her parents wouldnt see him. There is a knock again and kripa makes sure that everything in the room looks okay. She went and opened the door.

K: yeah?

D: kripa i know that youre a little upset and thats why we came to talk to you about something

K: oh..no its ok. i mean...im not upset!

M: no we really need to talk

They walked into the room, leaving Kripa shocked. She tried her best to stop them, at the same time remaining cool. But it didnt work. She quickly moved towards the bed so that they wouldnt be suspicious about Angad. They sat on the couch right across from the bed and this made kripa sit on the bed to cover up angad.

K: so what did you want to talk about?

M: Kripa we were talking to Teddy and...

D: and we have decided something.

K: what?

M:(smiles) well...Teddy told us everything that happened today!

K(shocked as she thinks about Angad and her): uhhh...everything?

D: yeah everything. and you dont have to be shocked or scared. we love you and all we want is for you to be happy

K: meri to kuch samajh mein nahi aa raha. please khul kar kahiye na

M: ok to tumhare dad ne aur maine yeh faisla kiya hai ke....

D: ke hum jald hi ja kar Angad ke parents se baath karenge

Angad listened up as he heard his name. What were they talking about. He slowly slid his hands to hold Kripa's ankle. Kripa got a sudden jolt but she tried to calm herself down. She pushed Angad's hand a little to get it off her ankle.

K: kis bare mein baat karni hai?

M: tum dono ke shaadi ke bare mein ofcourse!!!

Her mom said it with a big smile like it was some huge surprise. Kripa was completely shocked and so was Angad. She got up suddenly out of the shock. Her parents looked at her and continued smiling.

D: ha kripa. Teddy ne hume sab kuch bata diya. he said you guys seemed like you really loved each other. so we decided to make our daughter happy.

K: lekin Dad shaadi....

M: i know i know. tum yahi soch rahi ho na ke tumhari ummar hi kya hai? thats what we were thinking of too...you are just 17 right now and...

K: 18!

M: what?

K: im not 17...im 18!

M: yeah same thing. so we have decided that...you guys could get engaged now or something and then get married when youre more mature and older. right?

D: i think its a good idea. what about you kripa?

K: Dad I..

M: ofcourse she thinks its a good idea. surya hume jald hi Mr. Khanna se baath karni chahiye.

D: yeah..ok kripa. good night beta. i'll see you tomorrow. i'll be home for dinner i think

M: yea. im going to be here for breakfast and then i'll leave for the day. ok? good night

Kripa nodded her head and saw them leave. She was still shocked about her parents' decision. Angad came out from under the bed and stood next to kripa as she was still sitting down on the bed with her eyes wide open

A: what just happened?

Kripa looked at Angad and stood up quickly.

K: angad ab hum kya kare? i mean shaadi to...

A: pata nahi...lekin ab tak kuch final nahi hua na. so dont worry.

K: what do you mean dont worry? tum mere dad ko nahi jaante. woh humari shaadi karwake rahenge

A: dont worry kripa...kuch na kuch to karna hi padega!!

Angad looked straight ahead like he had a plan or atleast he wanted one. Kripa looked at him with her eyes still wide open and then looked away still trying to absorb what had just happened.

coming up: will they get engaged due to family pressure?

ok guys im off to my vacation. i wasnt going to post another part up coz i was so busy but then i thought that i shudnt keep you guys waiting until tuesday so here it is....and when i come back...there better be a lot of comments and this post shud be upto page 40 with them...is that understood? lol jk.
