Dear Diary,

Happy Holi Everyone!! I can't wait to find out what's gonna happen today! There's so much excitement in the air. Though I'm a little worried about what Mum's gonna dress me in today. She really does have a habit of decking me out in the most ridiculous outfits whenever she thinks there's something important. I sent fervent prayers up to the heavens above as she started dressing me while singing, 'Aaye Meri Zuhra Jabeen' for some weird reason and giggling like crazy. She insisted on me wearing diapers - Arghhh! She makes me feel like a baby. And a goofy baby at that! And the least she can do is tie them loosely so that they give a baggy kinda look but no! She doesn't even do that! To think I'm the kid of the guy who runs a Fashion House!

And then can you guess what she dressed me in?? A white Kurta Pajama!! And for the first time in my life, I longed for my brightly colored clothes. White made me feel miserable.

But then Mum dressed Asmara in a white frock too and Dad declared gleefully that she looked like 'an Angel'. I thought he didn't believe in God, so were did angels come from? Maybe he thinks they can be manufactured at hospitals too - at his order, of course. Dad can be so stupid sometimes especially around Asmara.

We went downstairs and saw everyone in white and I wondered vaguely who would be dying today. I hoped it wouldn't be someone from our family.

Mum was wearing white too and despite red being Dad's favorite color, he still found her very pretty considering the fact that he seemed unable to move his eyes away from her. That lead to one of their Rabba Ve moments as winds started blowing and music started playing in the background and I felt digging a hole and crawling into it for the rest of my life. I was thinking of disturbing them myself as Anjali Bua wasn't there to do the job but then I remembered the countless requests I had received from all those lovely chicks from the IF organization after my New Year Resolutions to not interrupt Mum and Dad's Rabba Ve cos somehow they found them very Hot! What the?? Seriously I will never understand adults and girls to be specific. How can they be so interested in our boring life? I mean, it's just Mum and Dad! Not anyone special like Gopi Bahu and Ahem Dikra!

Anyways, at that precise moment Dadi came and raised her hand as if she was stopping traffic when in fact she was trying to stop Mum and Dad's Rabba Ve moment. Dad looked furious and I thought it would be a good time for him to kill Dadi off as we were all dressed in white anyways.

To my utter disappointment he didn't and picking up Asmara and me, he strode out. That's one of the advantages of him catching and carrying Mum around! He has become so powerful that he can hold both Asmara and me together in one arm each. I love it when he does that!

Ohhh the scene that greeted my eyes outside was blissful! Everyone was running around throwing Maami's eye shadows at each other that were piled up in huge thaals. I don't know how Anjali Bua allowed her thaals to be used for such a happy purpose. I thought she was allergic to happiness.

And then people were running around spraying colors at each other from a nozzle pump. It was so astounding to see adults acting as kids.

Mum took some red paint and smeared it on Dad's face and then some on mine and Asmara's while saying, 'Happy Holi'. Dad did the same with Mum and then everyone started applying colors on to each other's cheek except Maami who refused to have any put on her, stating her skin was 'very sensible'. I think even if she did, it wouldn't have made much difference on top of all those layers of make up anyway.

Dad kept touching his cheek with a goofy grin where Mum had applied the red color and I realized that Dad probably only got the privilege of getting touched by Mum each year at Holi! Poor guy!

My Mum's family was there too. And do you know what I found out recently? Garima Naani isn't my Mum's real mother! I should have guessed that earlier! I mean, she calls my mum Koosi! What kinda mum pronounces her own daughter's name wrong?!

Thank God Dad then left me to play on my own and I went running to the different colors and started playing on my own. Everyone started drinking something called 'Bhang' from large glasses and started getting drunk. If I had thought Manorma Daadi was stupid before, then after drinking Bhang, her IQ had nosedived to such a level that I was thinking of moving her to the poolside so that Dad could water her along with other plants.

A completely drunk Mum was now dancing amidst a group of people while an equally drunk Dad was looking at her with a soppy, slavish look that I hoped with all my heart would never appear on my Dad's face again. I quickly took a mental note: Don't drink Bhang (Ha - A chance would be a fine thing)

'She looks beautiful at this Holi too'. Dad drawled starry eyed, staring at Mum. Dadi seemed to be considering fainting at this scandalous remark of his while Anjali Bua burst into tears stating her Chotay has changed a lot ever since he got married. I think she had thought he would still be running around in his diapers even after his marriage.

Akash Chacho and Payal Mausi were sitting together at a bench giggling like a couple of teenager girls with Payal Mausi saying 'Akash Ji' and Akash Chacho muttering 'Payal' in a cheesy tone. And the process kept repeating like a stuck film.

A completely wasted NK Chacho was stumbling from one person to another while Buaji tried to follow him around like a lost puppy... A huge puppy at that, bellowing, 'Nandkishor, haye roko Nandkishor'. NK Chacho finally staggered up to my Mum and Dad wearing a huge grin, and swinging his arm around Dad's shoulders bellowed in his ear, 'Nannav Meray Bhai!!' before doubling up with laughter.

'You're drunk!' My Dad, Captain Obvious, informed him happily. 'Who made you drink bhang?'

NK Chacho scratched his head furiously thinking hard before asking with a frown, 'What was that film called in which Shahrukh Khan gets married to Kajol?'

'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' Dad answered promptly looking at Mum with a cheesy expression.

'No, no!' NK shook his head furiously. 'The one in which Hritik Roshan is his brother and Amitaab is their Dad and he goes to England...'

'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum?' Dad answered doubtly.

'Yes!! Khushi!! Khushi Ji! Who made me drink bhang?' NK called Mum who grinned at him saying 'Akash Ji' and NK burst into peels of laughter saying, 'That naughty naughty babwa!' and I felt like evaporating on the spot, wondering where to run to get away from this craziness.

So now I find myself in a fix. And what I want to ask you is, do you guys want me to continue with this FF or not? I actually want your honest opinion! Do you guys feel like I'm now just dragging things and repeating them?! Cos the number of Likes are decreasing with every update and I'm not liking that at all!! Although I;m getting new readers with every update still the number of likes is decreasing!! So please let me know!! I know I've some very lovely and loyal readers to this FF who never will want it to end but I want everyone's opinion so please mention it in your comments guys, whatever you want! I won't take any offence, I promise!!
