This update is Dedicated to Munazza (Sweet_ Ashum) Hope you like it girl! =D
Dear Diary,
OMG!! Anjali Bua's getting Married!! This all came as such surprise! Anjali bua has been having a really tough time controlling her giggles ever since Rahul proposed to her.
I went to do the wedding's shopping with Mum and Dad and boy! We shopped until we dropped!
Mum and Dad first got so many different presents for Anjali Bua! Dad wanted to give Anjali Bua the best "Dahej" anyone's ever laid their eyes on but the funny thing is, we never got round to buying that! We just brought her some pretty damn expensive Saaries (all designer's) Jewellery (designer's Of course) and some other stuff. Too bad! I really wanted to know what a 'Dahej' looked like!
Anyways, Mum and Dad got me this really hot-looking Dark Grey Three Piece Suit with a black shirt underneath and a red tie (Dad's choice) while Mum after roaming half a dozen malls finally chose a Saari. You can already guess the colour... Yes, Red again!
Dad got a usual black three piece suit and a baby blue shirt underneath. I don't understand it! Why can't be get a different colour than black?? I'd hate for people to think that The Great ASR can't afford a new suit on his own sister's wedding!
Heard the Wedding is being held at some place called Sheesh Mahal. Sounds interesting, huh? I'm terribly excited!

On the day of the wedding, Mum decked me in my suit and I looked like a perfect gentleman until Mum took a 'Pink' turban and plopped in on my head! Omg!! She just can't resist making me a cartoon, can she? She asked Dad to wear one too but he refused point blank.
Then Mum took absolutely ages getting ready! And for some reason, she's really whiney these days. I think Dad's spoiling her too much.
She kept insisting that she looked fat in the Saari while Dad lied through his teeth that of course she didn't.
To tell you the truth, Mum's gaining weight. Her stomach used to be perfectly flat now it has a little bump! But its her own fault! She eats sooo much these days! I mean she has always loved food but now she's always feeling like eating something and the worst part is, Everyone encourages her to! Now you gotta face the consequences, doll!
But I have to admit, she really looked pretty when she was done getting ready and I have to say, My mum and Dad really do make a lovely couple.
I was pleased to find Akash chacho wearing a turban as well. Atleast, I won't be the only laughing stock.
Anjali Bua had gotten ready from a parlour and I think she was a little too over dressed, If you know what I mean. I had a hard time recognizing her!
The wedding was held on the huge grounds of Sheesh Mahal (after a rusty old helicopter was moved from it) and the arrangement was Awesome. Everything went smoothly, I'm pleased to report when so many things could have happened: Anjali Bua could have had a giggling fit while sitting in the Mandip, She could've felt like having a Poja and ran back home, etc but Thank God, everything went silky smooth.
Rahul looked even more funny than Anjali Bua with a turban and a huge Sahra over his head. Poor guy could hardly see where he was going.
After all the rituals were completed (one of them was playing 'Ring-a Ring-a Roses' around the fire! I soo wanted to join in but Mum wouldn't let me) They were finally declared Husband and Wife. Anjali Bua started crying and Rahul too on seeing her, when she met everyone before they set off in a car and I don't blame them- I would too If I looked like that on my wedding!

The house seems oddly deserted without Anjali Bua and her Poja ki thaal. And sometimes I long to hear her teenage-girl giggles but its not so bad cos she lives close by and drops in about 4, 5 times a day daily cos she misses her Chotay and "Chotay kay Chotay" too much (Thats ME! Arghhh! Don't ask)

You must have heard a proverb saying 'swelling with happiness' My Mum is literally doing that! I think ever since she found out that she's gonna get another child, she's quite literally swelling with happiness and seems to be getting bigger and bigger by the day.
And the worst part is, Dad's spoiling her so bad! Yesterday I woke up in the middle of the night to find Dad making Jalebies for Mum! Can you believe it?
Love really makes a person act as a fool! Before, my Dad could do nothing except say 'What the' a dozen times a day and now He does everything Mum asks him to do! Everything! He even sits and watches Star Plus' serials and Salman Khan movies with mum cos he knows otherwise she'll throw a tantrum! He does look bored to death though!
So yeah! My Dad made Jalebies while my mum complained how they weren't perfect. And the weird part was Dad didn't even say a word! I half expected him to yell, "Enough! How dare you suggest that Arnav Singh Raizada isn't perfect?! You're Fired!" Instead he talked to her in mushy tones and fed her himself. With his own 2 hands! To say I was shell shocked would be an understatement!
