Chapter Eight

We're Broken

Angad strolled into Kripa's clinic the next morning and walked straight to the receptionist. He looked around at her desk and spotted the stack of business cards and took one out, putting it in his pocket. "Getting it for a friend." He mumbled to the receptionist winking at her with his elbows on the desk. She laughed shyly turning red and pretended to look through some files. "Has anyone ever told you that you'd look beautiful with glasses?" Angad asked her playing around with a pen. She shook her head turning even more red. He was quite the charmer. Angad chuckled exactly when Kripa stepped out of her cabin. She caught the blushing receptionist and Angad's dazzling smile and anger rushed into her veins. She stormed over to the desk and started searching for the file she needed. Angad watched her waiting for her to acknowledge him. When she started to head back into her cabin completely ignoring him, he ran after and followed her into her cabin.

"Kripa." Angad said. She turned around and managed to throw a couple of pens and almost a stapler at him.

"Woah." He gasped shocked.

"How dare you flirt with MY receptionist in MY clinic?" Kripa snapped.

Angad laughed angering Kripa further. She growled and walked away from him towards the window.

"It was harmless flirting. I didn't mean any of it." Angad said walking up behind her trapping her between him and the window.

Kripa turned around abruptly so she was facing him. She gasped at the proximity. He wasn't even a hand away.

"Harmless flirting my foot. You were still flirting." Kripa muttered looking away so his breath was on her neck instead.

"I'm sorry. It's a bad habit." He said cheekily, tongue in his cheek. Kripa looked at him again and gave him a death glare.

"You better stop that bad habits of yours because i have one too. I really like to kill people that piss me off a lot." Kripa threatened. Angad laughed amused. Suddenly, she grinned. It was almost a mischievous smile. One that he hadn't seen at all. "Or you can always go find yourself another victim." She stated raising her eyebrows at him. He watched her for a moment.

"You're not a victim." He said amused once again. She raised an eyebrow at him.

"Yeah? What else am i?" She demanded. Angad rolled his eyes.

"I don't call my victims, victims to their face." Angad told her smirking. Her mouth dropped open and before she could tell him off, her mouth was too occupied doing something else. She pushed him away roughly.

"Don't touch me." She snapped walking past him. He sighed.

"You know, this is my clinic so i'm sure we can talk here." She said. Angad muttered under his breath angrily.

"Then maybe i should leave." He said viciously. Before she knew it, he was out the door slamming it behind him. She shook her head upset. When was he going to understand? When was he gonna listen?

She glanced at the time and decided to head out for lunch. As soon as she stepped out of her clinic, someone grabbed her arm and turned her around. She glared at Angad who stood there grinning.

"You're out of the clinic now so i'm safe." He stated blocking the door.

"I was wondering.. where do you wanna go for lunch?" Angad asked cheerily following her as she walked towards the parking lot.

"Nowhere with you." She snapped causing him to laugh. Just as she turned right to go to her car, Angad grabbed her arm again and pulled her to the other direction towards his car. She tried to pull her arm out of his grasp but all her efforts went down the drain when he pushed her into the passenger seat and shut the door.

"Khanna, you're too pushy." Kripa told him when he turned the ignition on but deep down she knew that she didn't mind it one bit.

***

A few minutes later, they stopped at KFC out of all places.

"If you wanted to come to a fastfood restuarant like this, we could have gone to Wendy's, or A&W. Ah hell! Even McDonalds would've been awesome." Kripa complained crossing her arms across her chest pouting like a 5 year old who's lollipop had been taken away.

Angad turned to her surprised.

"You don't like KFC?" Angad asked almost shocked. Kripa shook her head, still pouting.

"The burgers are too spicy. AND, too big." She mumbled glaring at the restaurant. Angad chuckled shaking his head.

"Have you tried their twister?" He asked. She shook her head again.

"I hate this place." She replied.

"Try the twister. It'll be perfect for you. If you don't like it, we'll go somewhere else. Promise." Angad said, almost begging. Kripa sighed and got out of the car shrugging. Angad just grinned.

As Angad ordered, Kripa chose a table in the corner. A few minutes later, Angad walked over with the food on a tray.

Kripa hesitantly picked up the twister, unwrapped it and took a small bite. She was quite surprised as she took a bigger bite this time. It was actually really good. She smiled and looked up at Angad to tell him what she thought but stopped when she saw his huge zinger burger and the stack of hot sauce he had beside it. He opened a packet and squeezed in into his burger and Kripa just stared horrified. Not only was that beyond unhealthy but it also seemed extremely spicy. He looked up right at her and gave her that signature dazzling smile of his.

"You're gonna eat that?" She asked nervously. He nodded and she gulped down the couple of bites of the twister she had ate that had wanted to come back up.

After eating, they left the restaurant with Kripa talking animatedly. Angad shook his head laughing. She talked a lot. Angad drove Kripa back to her clinic and went off telling her he had to go to court for some important work.

***

The next morning, Kripa went down the stairs and found the news playing on loud volume. She saw her dad sitting in front of the TV looking at it intently while her mother stood by the counter watching it as well momentarily distracted from her cleaning. Kripa turned to the TV as well to see what was so interesting. She watched shocked as they showed Dilip Kapoor signing off Angad's property to Angad and giving Kartik everything else. They were officially separated and the property and wealth had officially been divided up among Angad and Kartik. Angad only received the property his biological father had left for him before moving back to India. The property was barely worth anything. Rishi Khanna used to live in the most rowdiest and inexpensive places in the whole of London. It was rumoured that Rishi was a complete drug addict and despite being a successful engineer, he preferred to live his life as a low-income druggy.

Kripa watched horrified as the news anchor revealed that Angad Khanna had demanded for what was his personally yesterday afternoon.

"Now the question is, does Angad Khanna plan to follow his biological father's steps or his step father's? Angad decided to keep his biological father's last name, what does that say about him?" Was all Kripa heard before she turned away to get something to eat disgusted with Angad.

"Kids these days. This Angad Khanna is just beyond my understanding. He's got rich and independent so he's neglecting his parents like this. He even went and demanded for his property! Who can get more shameless than this?" Kripa's father spewed. Kripa's mother shook her head.

"Tell me about it." She muttered.

Kripa sighed as she grabbed an apple. Angad had even dropped in her parents eyes. What was left now? What did Angad want exactly? Today, she decided she was gonna get all her answers from him. Grabbing the car keys, she was out the door.

Once she arrived at Angad's apartment building, she slowly entered and stepped inside the elevator, suddenly nervous. What was she going to say to him? Was he going to listen or was he going to have an outburst like usual? When she found his room, she took two deep breaths before knocking on the door. A minute went by, then another, and then the door swung open. Angad grinned upon seeing her. He leaned over and kissed her cheek before letting her in.

"Good morning." She mumbled picking up a pair of jeans lying in front of her on the floor. She threw them into the laundry bin.

"Good morning." He replied hugging her from the back. She pushed his arms away and grabbed his hand pulling him to a couch. She forced him to sit and sat down herself.

"We need to talk." She said. Angad rose an eyebrow but kept quiet waiting for her to continue.

"Angad, what you did yesterday.." She heard him scoff and turn to look at the front instead of her.

"Angad it's everywhere! How did you expect me to not say anything to you?" She snapped grabbing his face and turning it towards her. He glared at her with so much hatred, any girl would've left right away but Kripa stay put. He was not only her boyfriend but also her patient.

"Look, you're just making the situation worse and it's not going to do anyone any good! Besides, what do you know about your biological father anyway?"

Angad's head snapped up to look at her. His jaw clenched and she knew, he was angry.

"I know he was a druggy okay? I know he also had a problem with alcohol but that false accusation of him being abusive that my mother likes to throw around? That's what angers me! If she had remained faithful to him, supported him, he would've never been abusive! He was going through a tough time and she went and had an affair with that Dilip Kapoor that everyone wants me to accept! That same guy who is the reason why my parents separated. The reason why my father became abusive and went to jail! The reason why my father left me!." Angad yelled.

"Whatever the reason, domestic violence can never be right Angad. I would never stay with a man who physically assaults me either." Kripa said bitterly thinking of her father.

"Your father could have divorced her in the first place! Or they could have sat down and talked! If your father was careless, it doesn't mean you hold your mother responsible. Whatever she went through, whatever she did Angad, she did it for you and you don't even appreciate that!"

"So having an affair was for me? That was right?" Angad asked viciously, his anger rising by the second.

"NO! I'm not saying have an affair was right but maybe that was because of her mental state at that time! She obviously wasn't the most sensible person. You can't expect that from a person who's being physically assaulted by her own husband. But then again, like i said before, the best thing to do was to sit down and talk to him. She didn't do that so yes, she was partially responsible for what she went through. BUT, you can't blame JUST your mom Angad!"

Angad shook his head.

"If it was all for me, then why did she start ignoring me after her marriage to Dilip Kapoor? It was all, Kartik likes this, Kartik wants that. Dilip likes this, Dilip wants that. Angad can just do what they want. WHY? Because i was the step son? Was Kartik not HER step son? Was it because Kartik was Dilip's son and i was Rishi Khanna's son? The man she hated? She took out the hatred for HIM on ME! However my father was Kripa, he loved me." Angad said blinking back tears. He had never cried before over this and he wasn't going to now. He had cried enough as a kid but not now.

Kripa sighed, her heart breaking for him. This situation was much more complicated than it seemed.

"Angad, you know she didn't mean it. You know she loves you. All you need to do is talk to her and all your questions will be answered." She said gently putting a hand on his shoulder. Angad shook his head.

"I dunno." He whispered dropping his head into his hands. Kripa put an arm around him and he turned around to hug her. "It'll be okay." She whispered into his neck. And that was it. That was all he needed. He gave up on holding back the tears and just let it go. Kripa sighed as she pulled him back and took his tear streaked face in her hands. He wiped the tears and took a deep breath.

"That was embarrassing." He laughed rubbing at his red nose.

"The fact that you look like Rudolph the red nose reindeer? Yeah, that's pretty embarrassing." Kripa teased him. Angad shook his head and stared at her for a moment making her uncomfortable.

"There was something wrong when you mentioned how domestic violence is never right. Like you understood. Like you knew." Angad muttered rubbing his temple. Kripa took a deep breath and just stared at the rug. For some odd reason, she felt she could tell him. He told her everything and she was sure she could do the same.

"I guess i was thinking about my father at that time. He's such an odd man. If i had to explain him to you, i wouldn't be able to do it. He has so many faces to him. So many that i can't even call him two faced. He wants everything his way. You know, no one likes him. He's never gotten along with anyone in the whole family. When my mom's parents used to live with us, they'd pay rent. They didn't live with us for free. They even paid for their grocery but if they went out and bought something for themselves to eat, he'd make a big deal out of it. What was his problem if they ate something alone bought by their own money? But no, he'd fight with my mother over it. He pointed out every mistake he could despite the fact that my grandma cleaned the entire house every day. Eventually, my mom had to find them a basement because she couldn't see them get insulted like that. And then my aunt. He doesn't get along with her either. She's his older sister yet he treats her like crap. He hates her older son. He'd keep him up all night, pointing out mistakes. Because of that, he failed grade 12. He never got any sleep or time to study because my father wouldn't let him. And my mom. I can't even tell you about her. He's hit her so many times, i've lost count. She called the police on him twice in all these years yet she's still with him. It disgusts me. The way he treats me and Armaan sickens me too. He doesn't know how to be a father. That's about it." Kripa said gulping the frog in her throat.

"How did you live with such a man?" Angad mumbled shaking his head. He turned to her and pulled her into a hug.

"Angad they don't like you." Kripa whispered into his neck.

"Why?" Angad asked confused pulling away.

"Because of what you did. It was on the news today. My parents saw it." She explained.

"Of course. All parents think alike." He laughed. Kripa laughed along rolling her eyes.

"I'll uh, talk to my mom tomorrow." Angad said looking anywhere but at Kripa. She grinned and threw her arms around him, squeezing his shoulders.

Chapter Nine

It's More..

Angad stood in front of the door to the Kapoor House re-thinking his decision. Moments later, he was ringing the doorbell. The door was then opened by his step-brother, Kartik. Angad moved forward to step in but Kartik pushed him back.

"It's my house and you aren't welcome." Kartik sneered. Angad's eyes flashed but he kept his anger in check.

"Look, i'm here to meet mom. That's it." Angad said calmly and clearly.

"Mom? You didn't think of her before. Angad, you've hurt her enough. You can't meet her. Get out." Kartik snapped.

"She's my mom. Who the hell are you to decide for her?" Angad growled.

And then they both heard footsteps and saw Naina stop at the bottom of the staircase shocked to see Angad. Her eyes filled up with tears and she rushed over to him. Cupping his face in her hands, she gently kissed him on the forehead.

"Angad, why did you leave?" She whispered, tears dropping from her eyes one by one. Angad smiled and pulled her into a hug shocking her. Dilip watched from afar with tears in his eyes and a small smile on his lips.

Kartik rolled his eyes and stormed off while Dilip walked back into his room to give Angad and Naina some time alone.

"Mom, i'm sorry. I should've been a better son. But i wasn't. Because i was confused. I was hurt mom." Angad mumbled staring at his hands.

"Hurt? Confused? Why?" Naina questioned.

"After your marriage, you stopped paying attention to me. It was either Kartik or...dad" Angad replied. Naina smiled at Angad's reference to Dilip as "dad" for the first time in 15 years.

"Beta, i never to meant to stop paying attention to you. I was just concerned about Kartik. He had never gotten a mother's love before and he wasn't going through the best time. I had to help him get through that. I knew you'd take care of yourself. I thought you knew that i loved you. I thought Dilip would take good care of you while i took care of Kartik until he needed me. And i know Dilip did take care of you but i guess, you were never able to get close to Dilip because you thought i was distancing myself from you." Naina took his hands into hers and smiled at him gently.

Angad shook his head at himself. How could he have been so stupid?

"I'm so sorry mom. I was so selfish." Angad hung his head ashamed. And suddenly, he remembered Dilip.

"Where's dad?" He asked. Naina grinned as she pointed upstairs towards their room. Angad kissed her on the cheek and ran upstairs. He knocked on the door until he heard a "come in"

He opened the door and stepped in to find Dilip sitting on the bed with his reading glasses on and a book in hand. Angad smiled as he walked over and sat down beside him. Dilip took his glasses off and put the book away.

"Angad. How are you?" Dilip asked him.

"I'm good, thank you. How are you?" Angad asked equally formal. Dilip just nodded as a reply.

"Dad, i'm sorry." Angad mumbled. Dilip looked up surprised at "dad".

"I was wrong. I considered you wrong. I didn't realize that you really do love my mom. And you really did want me to consider you as my father. I always felt that, the affection and care you showed me was to please my mom and that was it."

Dilip chuckled at that.

"Of course not. I've always considered you my son, just like Kartik. But, how did that thick mind of yours actually realize all this?" Dilip asked with a smile. Angad shook his head.

"Kripa. I mean, Dr. Sharma. She helped me understand. She's the one who convinced me to come here." Angad replied. Dilip watched amused.

"Kripa? Or Dr. Sharma?"

Angad turned red causing Dilip to laugh.

"Well, your room is just as it used to be. And-" Before Dilip could continue, Angad cut him off.

"Dad if you don't mind, i'd like to stay at my apartment. I'll definitely come to visit and whatnot but i'd prefer to live at my place." Angad pleaded. Dilip nodded patting him on the back. Angad thanked him and ran out of the house feeling happier than he had ever been in years. And it was all because of Kripa.

***

As he stopped at her clinic, he was confused to find a WE'RE CLOSED sign on the door. He pulled out his phone and called her but she didn't pick up.

Defeated, he sent her a text message hoping she'd reply.

Where are you? I've got news. ;)

Hours went by, he had even reviewed a case but she hadn't replied. Frustrated, he glanced at the clock which read 3 PM. And then his phone beeped and he automatically grabbed for it ignoring his office phone.

With friends. What's the news? XD

Angad glared at the text. Why couldn't she call him? Couldn't she see the "One missed call"? He tapped the message and started to type.

Call me.

He set the phone aside and grabbed his file again. He hated criminal defence especially when it involved rape. Those kind of trials always depressed him due to the gruesomeness. His reading was interrupted by another beep of his phone.

Can't. Too loud in here. -__-

Angad stared at the text confused. Where the heck was here?

Where are you?

His office phone rang once again and he finally picked it up.

"Hello?" Angad mumbled flipping through another file at random.

"Hi, is this Angad Khanna?" A lady on the other end asked.

"Yes it is. And who are you?" Angad asked closing the file now.

"I'm Avantika Aggrawal." The woman replied. Angad actually ignored the beep of his phone this time around. Kripa could wait. He was at work.

"Mr. Khanna, i needed your help. You see, the house i live in is under the name of three people. Mine, my brother's and my brother's wife. Last night, we got into a fight and they've threatened to kick me out and take my name out and-" Avantika couldn't continue when Angad spoke up.

"Mrs. Aggrawal, i practise criminal law. This isn't my field. But i can tell you that what your sister-in-law and brother intend to do, cannot be done. Quite obviously because you're the partial owner of the house." Angad stated.

"Oh. Alright, thank you so much." Avantika mumbled hanging up the phone. Angad shook his head. Shaking it all off, he picked up his cell phone and read the text.

At the fair downtown. It's my birthday so my friends are obviously planning to do something... so i'm stuck at this stupid fair.

Angad grinned. It was her birthday and she was bored at the fair. Of course she'd be. That fair was for kids. He saw the advertisement on TV last night.

Should i pick you up? We can do something much more exciting? ;)

After he sent the text, he dialed Kiran's number.

"At what time are you guys doing something for Kripa?" Angad asked in the inbetween of her "hello".

"Oh. Um. I dunno. Like 6?" She replied uncertainly.

"6 to what?"

"I dunno Angad! It could be a long time." Kiran exclaimed.

Angad groaned.

"You guys have one hour. At 7:30, she'll be with me." Angad demanded.

Kiran laughed.

"Okay. Consider it done." Angad mumbled a thanks and hung up. He then noticed a text waiting for him.

Haha. Sounds good. 7th ave. Hurry up. It's hot.

He grinned picking up his car keys and locking his office on the way out.

***

As he arrived, he found her standing at the intersection. He honked at her and she smiled running straight to him and getting in.

"Thank God! You're my saviour!" She exclaimed giving him a hard kiss on the mouth as he drove. He slammed the brakes down in shock.

"Kripa, i was driving." He said. She laughed and just shrugged her shoulders. He rolled his eyes. She was a little too happy today. About half an hour later, they stopped at a nice little park with beautiful flowers surrounding it. "I thought you'd like a nice walk in a quiet area." Angad said turning to her. She nodded at him before getting out and walking off. She never waited for him, he noticed. And he liked that about her. She wasn't too clingy.

As he caught up with her, she turned and stopped in front of him.

"What's the news?" She demanded. Angad chuckled and pulled her underneath a tree for some shade.

"I went to meet mom. And i even met dad. It's all good now and i have you to thank." Angad said, very sincerely too. Kripa grinned and hugged him tightly.

"Awwiee." She squealed making him give her an odd look. She pulled his cheeks to annoy him and it worked like a charm. He threw her hands away and glared at her. Kripa sighed and looked around until she stopped an ice cream stall.

"ANGAD! ICE CREAM!" She screamed. Angad covered his ears and looked around at the little amount of people that were at the park.

"Kripa, don't scream." Angad scolded grabbing her arm and pulling her close. She frowned at him and pulled her arm away.

"I. Want. Ice. Cream." Kripa retorted glaring at him. Angad glared right back so Kripa walked off to the stall leaving him behind. He shook his head frustrated. How could anyone handle this girl? With nothing else to do, he followed her to the stall.

"One rainbow ice cream. Medium cone." She ordered.

"and one cotton candy, small cone." Angad mumbled right after her from behind.

Kripa held both the cones while Angad paid. When he turned around, Kripa was already walking off. Laughing, he ran to her.

"Why can't you ever wait for me?" Angad asked. Kripa rolled her eyes at him.

"Why should i? Are you 5?" She snapped.

"no. But i am your boyfriend." Angad growled. Kripa glared at him.

"Don't talk to me like that!" She complained. Angad rolled his eyes.

"Don't make me." He replied. Kripa stared at him, then at his ice cream and then back at him again. Grinning, she licked his ice cream.

"You don't get it anymore because Kripa likes it." She stated very authoritatively. Angad watched her and then grabbed her ice cream and quickly licked it.

"You don't get it anymore because Angad likes it." He copied causing her to walk away in anger. Sighing, he followed as usual.

"I don't like you." She pouted when he caught up with her.

"HEY! You took my ice-cream first!" He countered. She turned away from him licking the ice cream. At about 5:30, Kiran texted Angad to drop Kripa off at her house.

***

Angad paced around his apartment until the clock struck 7. And then he finally got a text from Kiran.

My house. Come pick her up.

Once he arrived at her house, he honked about 5 times before Kripa stepped outside looking like the most beautiful girl on the whole planet. It was the first time he had seen her with Indian clothing. She smiled shyly as she opened the car and sat in. He grinned at her. "You look beautiful" he whispered tucking in a strand of hair behind her ear as she blushed a tomato red.

Kripa was beyond confused when they stopped at some farm house in the country. It was definitely a beautiful farm house but why were they there?

"Angad, who's farm house is this?" Kripa asked.

"Mine." Angad mumbled stepping out and opening the door for her. He gently took her hand to help her out and then shut the door. As they stepped inside, it was pitch dark. Kripa moved to touch Angad's shoulder since she was very scared of the dark, but he was no longer there. That's when she panicked.

"Angad." She called out in a shaky voice. And then the lights were turned on and she was shocked. There were red streamers and ribbons placed along the staircase, the walls and all the tables and chairs. Right in the centre was a big table with a beautiful chocolate cake on it. Angad stood on the other side of the room near the light switch grinning at her. Other than the decorations, the farm house itself was absolutely beautiful. She walked over to the cake and read Happy Birthday Kripa in red icing.

"Happy birthday sweetheart." Angad whispered from behind her. She shivered slightly at the sensation of his breath on her neck.

"You do this for all your girlfriends?" Kripa laughed.

"No. Usually i just take them out for dinner and give them a card. But that's about it. I don't remember giving anyone a gift but i might have. I think." Angad mumbled. Kripa smiled. At least she wasn't "one of those" for him. She blew out the candles and then picked up the knife and cut the cake. Angad grabbed a spoon and shoved a spoonful of cake in her mouth grinning. Kripa covered her mouth to swallow and then did the same to him.

"I know you're not a very fancy type person so i tried to make it un-fancy if that's a word, as much as i could." Angad explained taking her hand and leading her towards the living room with the TV. He sat her down on a couch and walked off to the kitchen. When he came back, he was carrying a box of pizza and a bag full of other things. He set the pizza down on the table in front of them and then sat down with the bag. First, he took out a birthday card and handed it to her. Kripa took it smiling and opened it, looking through it.

"I'm not good at writing stuff down so there's nothing written." He mumbled. And then he took out a jewelry box. When she opened it, she found a beautiful yet simple diamond necklace. She absolutely awed.

"I saw it and i knew right away that it was just for you." Angad whispered. She looked up at his hazel eyes and smiled. "It's beautiful." Kripa replied leaning forward and giving him a long sweet kiss.

As they sat eating, Angad swore at the ring of his phone. Kripa laughed and pressed the accept button, pushing it to his ear.

"Oh! Hey mom." Angad exclaimed putting his pizza away and sitting up properly.

"Beta, you remember Mrs. Bose? She came to me asking for your hand in marriage for Mishti! Isn't it great? Mishti's a wonderful girl and you were with her too. You two are such great friends. So, should i say yes?" Naina asked excitedly.

Angad looked at Kripa frantically. Mishti Bose?

"MOM! NO. Not Mishti. Please. I'm uh, I want to marry someone else!" He almost yelled.

Kripa laughed while eating at his poor state.

"Who?" Naina gasped.

"Uh, Kripa Sharma!" He blurted out causing Kripa to choke on her pizza. Angad rubbed her back while trying to speak to his mom at the same time.

"That doctor? Aw, that's wonderful Angad. I'm so happy you're in love. She's an amazing girl. Dilip told me she's the one who convinced you. He was telling me how he thinks you like her. But i'm really happy for you two. Dilip and i will go speak to her parents in a couple of days. I'll let Mrs. Bose know that you love someone else." Naina hung up excited more than ever before.

Angad put the phone away and looked at Kripa sheepishly who was ready to kill him.

"Mom and dad are going to talk to your parents soon." Angad said nervously. Kripa's mouth dropped open and she threw the pizza in her hand right at him.

"KRIPA! Come on. I'm not that bad! And please. Don't throw pizzas at me out of all things!" Angad begged. Kripa moved towards the box to pick up another one but Angad had her pinned to the couch with him on top of her.

"What was i suppose to say? Mom wanted me to marry Mishti! MISHTI! That.. Mishti! Besides, you know you love me." Angad winked. Kripa's mouth dropped again and she slapped him lightly on the cheek.

"Kripaaa." He whined. She turned her face away. He sighed as he turned to the TV. He wasn't about to pacify anyone.

Before i knew it, i had 8 pages done of my next chapter. 🤣 And then i started liking what i had going on in my head so much that i wrote the next chapter too. 🤣 And then i kept writing and writing and had 6 chapters ready. 🤣

I guess i was just bored and i've always loved reading and writing as a past time but since the past couple of months, i had lost interest. And now it's back. XD I dunno man. I've got too much going on for me on IF. Don't worry, there's a lot more chapters to go yet. XD
