There is this one sentence in the middle that I'm confused about - From what I can figure I think it means that If she had wanted u for herself then why did she make up such rumours about u? or it could mean that if u had thot that u wanted her for urself, then what was the point of all the gossip / rumours about u?
And the last line - What is Lalitha's hold over u that despite the fact that u don't like her, u put up with her when she came to Mumbai.
