Hi all! As promised im here with another update of this SS! Definitely hope you all like this part as much as you appreciated the previous one! Would like to thank for all the lovely comments... and please do post your feedback after this part too! Here you go:😊

Chapter 2

Arnav Singh Raizada was now going through a severe dilemma... what on earth could he do which would bring her back to the company and at the same time wouldnt hurt his ego at the same time... when suddenly akaash came into his cabin with an extremely agitated expression

Arnav: Whats up akaash? Is everything ok? You look super pissed...

Akaash: That is cuz I am pissed bhai! I dont understand what is with your ego really? Cant you keep it aside for once?! Khushi is extremely benefitial to our company!

Arnav: I KNOW I KNOW!!! which is why im trying to figure out a way to bring her to us...

Akaash: Well you better end up with some soon bhai.. cuz from what ive been hearing.. she is impressed with the other companies offers and if she is convinced she will end up picking them and not us which would suck!!

Arnav: Fine akaash! You go to her! Tell her we are ready to work with her conditions... but I would like to know what they are and see if she can come see me as soon as possible about this...

Akaash: Thanks Bhai! Ill call her right away..

Arnav: No worries... get the work done

Akaash did what arnav had asked him to do.. Khushi was extremely pissed with the arrogance that man held... but she knew that he would end up coming to him.. and that is what happened... she was proud of the fact that he finally did end up coming in terms with her... and she did agree on meeting him that very evening... Akaash informed that to arnav and for some very weird reason he was nervous... he didnt know why... but he was VERY nervous... and finally the time has arrived when KKG had arrived at AR group! Akaash guided her to arnavs cabin...

Khushi: Pleasure meeting you again Mr. Raizada...

Arnav: The pleasure is all mine.. Thank you for taking some of your precious time out from your very busy schedule.. (he said it in a mocking way)

Khushi: Well I thought you guys are at least big enough to get a second chance.. (smirked)

Arnav: I see! The arrogance is way too much though...

Khushi: Are you kidding me?! Look whos talking... the business tycoon known for his arrogance and snobbishness! Are you feeling insecured Mr Raizada? That someone else can also have their own piece of mind?

Arnav: Well if you must know..

Khushi: (cuts through his sentence) See Mr. Raizada... I believe consist of our very own personalities and characteristics.. so instead of criticising each other and arguing over it which is a complete waste of both of our time... why dont we get to the point? What is it that you wanted to know about me now?

Arnav: (was shocked at the way she spoke.. no one ever spoke to him that way... and she always surprised him with her responses) Gladly Ms Gupta! Gladly! So basically what I wanted to know is that... you said that you work on your own terms... what exactly are these terms that you wish for us to follow?

Khushi: (smirks) see mr raizada... I for one am not at all like you.. not even close for that matter... when I say I work on my terms means that I want equality!

Arnav: (confused) equality amongst who?

Khushi: Amongst the people ill be working with... from what ive heard... I would have Akaash, Lavanya and NK working in this project with me... and of course you too... I want equality... everyone should have a say... and this should be a proper team work which woult make the outcome better... I am not like you.. I dont like to boss around..

Arnav: Excuse me?! You do realise that you are literally insulting me here dont you?

Khushi: Very well... I know what im saying.. and I mean every word...

Arnav: And you bloody well know that these insults can cost you this job.. I might not hire you!

Khushi: Have it your way Mr. Raizada.. its not me here having a second chance.. in fact its me giving YOU a second chance.. I never came here on my own... it was on your request... so please decide what you want... if it is not to hire me.. very well then... I was gonna accept the other job today anyway... I would suggest you stop wasting my time (she got up and was about to leave)

Arnav: (extremely helpless) FINE!! You are the new Project manager of AR!

Khushi: (smirks) I knew you would do that... so predictable... anyways... send the contract papers over to my house.. ill have them read and signed by tonight and ill bring it in tomorrow... when do I start work?

Arnav: Tomorrow!

Khushi: Very well.. see you tomorrow then!

Saying that she made her way out leaving a very pissed of Arnav! He couldnt believe that he had to tolerate this girl through this entire project... how would he survive without strangling her to death! But one thing he did find out... she was a selfless person... if she wanted she couldve been in control of the entire project but instead she wanted equality.. he somehow admired this quality in her...

Khushi on the other hand being the entirely bubbly and chirpy person had to be a bitch around Arnav Singh Raizada.. and this was all because she had always heard about his arrogance.. and she couldnt possibly let him take advantage of her sweetness... her mission was to tame the ferocious lion... and for that if she needed to be a lioness.. then so be it!

Precap: Khushi's first day at work and arnav cannot take his mind off how beautiful she is..
