Leaving you behind Part 4

Khushi had gone over to Anjali's for a sleep over as her parents would be out of town so Nani had offered for Khushi to stay over at their house.

The Girls were sat in the garden on the swing, chatting their head off.

Anjali: Gosh yesterday's incident was just so bad!

Khushi: I know, for a minute I actually thought your brother would turn green and become hulk.

They both burst out laughing at that, but then Khushi went serious all of a sudden. Anjali noticed Khushi become quiet and sad.

Anjali: What's wrong Khushi?

Khushi: I shouldn't be saying such things about him. After all he did this for me.

Anjali was just smiling at how sweet and kind her newly found friend was, she indeed was like an angel.

Anjali: Aww you are such a sweetie.

Anjali's phone began to ring and she excused herself from Khushi to attend it, leaving Khushi on her own.

Arnav was walking in the veranda of the house and saw Khushi sitting on the swing in the garden all alone so decided to go see if she was ok.

Khushi was lost in her own thoughts that she didn't even notice Arnav come and sit next to her on the swing until he started to speak which had caught her with surprise.

Arnav: Are you okay?

Khushi: Umm yeah' when did you come? I didn't even see.

Arnav: Well I came when you were lost in your own world.

Khushi looked down a little embarrassed being caught daydreaming.

Khushi: umm thanks for yesterday.

Arnav: Don't mention it, that Shayam just never learns his lesson.

Khushi: You didn't get hurt yesterday did you?

Arnav smirked at Khushi's question.

Arnav: Do you think I even gave him a chance to hurt me?

Khushi just nodded and looked down.

Arnav: Why are you so uncomfortable around me?

Khushi was taken aback at the sudden question and didn't know what to say.

Khushi: I' umm..

Arnav: I won't eat you, you know' I know I was bit rude the first time we met but it's just that I was busy on my Xbox when I heard the door bell and I had to get up to see who it was at the door and trust me I hate being disturbed when I'm on my Xbox. But umm I'm sorry if I hurt you.

Khushi was shocked and touched at the 'Laad governors' apology. I guess he's not Such a Laad governor after all she thought.

Khushi (smiling): It's okay' well to be honest my first impression of you was that you were an extremely rude person but now my opinion of you has definitely changed.

Arnav: Well I'm glad you at least smiled. I thought I would never see a smile on your face. I mean yesterday while we were in class I actually thought you were going burst into tears.

Khushi looked at Arnav and pouted.

Khushi: It's not my fault that I thought you were such a Laad governor!

As soon and Khushi uttered those words she instantly brought her hand up to her mouth and widened her eyes at her foolishness.

Khushi (thought): Tu toh gayi Khushi!

Arnav looked at Khushi in shock and then decided to tease her a little so looked at her in mock anger.

Arnav: What did you call me!?

Anjali by now had finished her call and was looking at the scene playing ahead of her, Initially she was glad that the two had finally started talking but then Khushi said 'Laad governor' she looked at her brothers expressions and was now dead scared for her friend Khushi.

Khushi looked at Arnav fearfully.

Khushi: I' I ddiiddnntt mmeaann it'. I'm ssso ssorryy !

Arnav looked at Khushi's expression and couldn't hold it in anymore and burst out laughing, which made two pairs of eyes pop out.

Anjali: Is Chotte laughing?

Khushi looked at Arnav with shock written all over her face.

Khushi: You're laughing?! I mean you didn't take offence of the name I called you by?

Arnav: Well, I know you didn't really mean it in a bad way' and I guess, I was a bit of a 'Laad governor'

Anjali just stared at him with her mouth made in a perfect 'o', was this really the Chotte she knew? Before Anjali could witness any more miracles Nani called her.

Anjali: Jee nani, I'm coming!

Anjali walked off still quite in shock of what she had witnessed.

Khushi and Arnav looked at eachother and burst out laughing, there was this relaxed atmosphere between them.

Khushi: You know what, I was wrong about you, you're not as bad as I thought.

Arnav: Thanks, I'll take that as a compliement then' So what say? Friends?

Arnav brought his hand forward and looked at Khushi with hopeful eyes.

Arnav( thought): Oh god what is happening to me? Arnav Singh Raizada is asking a girl to be his friend?! What the?

Khushi looked at his hand and back up to his face and was reluctant at first, she had never really had any guy friends and so she didn't know what to do, but then looking at Arnavs soft expression and sweet manner she brought her hand forward and placed it in his and shook it.

Khushi: Friends!

Khushi and Arnav stood there for a while holding each other's hand like that smiling at one another. Both were at peace and felt as if a missing part of them had just been found.

The two were brought out of their trance when they started to feel rain drops fall on them. Khushi looked up and smiled and released her hand from arnav and spread her hands out and felt the rain and started to spin around, whereas arnav just ran to the veranda and tried to call out for Khushi as well.

Arnav: Khushi come inside otherwise you'll catch a cold.

Khushi was enjoying herself so much that she had not even realised Arnav had gone.

Khushi: Why are you standing there' come and enjoy the rain. You don't get this opportunity every day you know.

Arnav: No thanks, I don't like the rain !

Khushi gasped as if Arnav had said something extremely wrong.

Khushi: You don't like rain!!? What!? How can someone not like rain?

What Khushi did next was something no one did with Arnav Singh Raizada!
