Khushi and Anjali had clicked instantly; they were acting as though they had known each other for years.

Khushi was glad that Anjali was doing the same course as her, and fortunately or unfortunately Arnav was in their class too. As khushi had started college mid-term she had a lot to catch up on and the professor had given Arnav the responsibility of helping her catch up, to which Arnav was kind of glad because this way he could find out what Khushi had said about him and also there was another feeling he was not quite sure of but it drew him towards her. Khushi on the other hand was dead scared and worried, she didn't know what that 'Laad governor' would do to her, she had already seen how rude he was and now she had to get help from him' HIM!!! She thought. Out everyone did sir only find him!!

Anjali had wanted to hook her brother with Khushi the moment she saw him staring at her, they would look perfect together, and now the professor had just made it easier for her.

Arnav went up to where Khushi was sitting and sat next to her as she would need some help understanding what was going on. Khushi was now hell nervous.

Khushi: Hey devi maya !

Arnav heard her mutter a prayer under her breath and couldn't help but smile at her innocence, if it was some other girl in her place she would be drooling all over him but Khushi was different.

Arnav: Hi

Khushi slowly turned to look at him and somehow managed to get a 'hi' out of her mouth in a mouse like voice.

Arnav: Sorry?

Khushi looked so nervous it looked like she would end up crying. She said hi again and this time it was much audible than her last 'hi'

Arnav was starting to worry seeing her state, she looked to uncomfortable and scared.

Arnav (thought): Damn! Maybe I was a little harsh on her yesterday' she looks as if she's going to burst into tears.

Arnav: Are you ok?

Khushi just nodded in reply. Arnav knew that right now it was best to just leave the matter here otherwise he may just end up making her cry in front of the whole class.

After the lesson was over Khushi stood up in hurry and made her way towards Anjali and dragged her out of the class as quickly as she could.

Arnav noticed how quickly she made her exit and couldn't help but wonder why she was behaving like this.

Anjali and Khushi and a few other friends were sitting in the canteen when some guys walked past Khushi and started to wink and whistle at her. Anjali saw this coming, these guys were known for their cheap behaviour, and when there was a new girl then this was bound to happen she just wished Arnav was here. And soon her wish was fulfilled and Arnav walked in and saw what had happened. He walked up to the guys and stared at them with anger pouring out his eyes.

Arnav: What the hell is going on here?

The guys knew Arnav well yet they still liked to push him to the limit rather than backing off. Arnav was the gang leader Shayam's worst enemy; he would do anything and everything to harm Arnav and his happiness.

Shayam: Ooh look who it is, the college hero!

Anjali and Khushi sat there with fear in their eyes as they saw the look In Arnavs eyes, his eyes showed pure hatred and anger.

Arnav: Look Shayam stay away from my sister and her friends, otherwise you'll have to pay for it!

Shayam: I'm so scared!

Arnav: If I were in your place I would be.

Shayam: What will you do huh? Punch me? Go on then.

Arnav had had enough he punched Shayam's face with so much force that blood started to come out of Shayam nose.

Anjali: Arnav!! Stop it!

Arnav was not listening to anything he just carried on punching Shayam until he dropped to the floor unconscious. He didn't know what took over him but when he saw Shayam and his gang misbehaving with Khushi he just couldn't hold in his anger.

Khushi looked at Arnav and then the knocked out Shayam in shock, what just happened! She couldn't understand why Arnav was so angry and why he beat up Shayam for such a small thing, okay fine he was misbehaving with her but Arnav hardly knew her, in fact Khushi thought Arnav disliked her, so then why was he doing this for her.

Anjali knew that Arnav was angry, very angry otherwise Arnav was not known to be someone who is so impulsive. She took Khushi's hand and went out of the canteen.

Anjali (thought): I don't want Khushi to see such a state of Chotte, she's already so scared of him, and this will only make things worse.

Khushi: Anjali, is your brother okay? i mean why did he get so angry. Is he always like this?

Anjali: No Khushi, Chotte ' I mean Arnav is usually very calm, but when he is angry and I mean very angry that's when he acts like this. But you know what that Shayam deserved it. Shayam and Arnav have always been like rivals in everything, they hated each other's guts.

Khushi: But why?

Anjali: It's a long story Khushi maybe some other time.

Anjali and Khushi saw Arnav coming out of the canteen and rushed to him.

Anjali: Chotte ! are you okay ? Tum pagal hogaye kya ?

Arnav: Anji, I'm fine okay? relax.

Anjali: RELAX??!

Arnav knew that his sister was extremely upset and angry at him for acting like that but he really didn't know why he did what he did.

Arnav: We'll talk about this later Anji ,now just calm down.

Arnav looked at Khushi and noticed she was just staring at him questioningly, he knew that she had millions of questions in her mind right now but he just didn't have a single answer.

Arnav: Are you okay?

Khushi came out of her trance and replied a yes.

Arnav: Look you two go home, I'll just deal with all this and come home aswell okay ?

Anjali: Hmm

Arnav: And Anji please don't tell Nani about today' I don't want her to worry unnecessarily.

Anjali just nodded and walked off with Khushi, and Arnav went inside to check if Shayam had come back to conscious or not, he maybe his enemy but he did have the humanity to at least check if the person was okay or needed help.
