Part 6

Khushi went downstairs after Arnav left to find di still in the kitchen looking lost. A wave of guilt invaded Khushi as she saw di. How could she be so happy when di was so sad?

"Di are you okay," she was very concerned. Even after a year di still had not gotten over the pain of losing her child, or of that betrayal. She and Arnav had both decided to not tell di the truth, but she had found out anyway when Shyam Jha had been arrested for the kidnapping and it had been broadcast on every network that Shyam Jha had kidnapped Arnav Singh Raizada. They had tried their best that di would never find out, they had gotten rid of cable but when the press had come to their doors, there was nothing they could have done. And then di had gone into labor and lost the child. Arnav ji had blamed even though it was not his fault. Khushi had tried telling him for the longest time, but he still tortured himself. Khushi knew he still held that close to his heart, but he never let her know. Could that have something to do with why Arnav ji had seemed hesitant when she had first told him about her pregnancy?

"Yes Khushi ji, I am fine. What would happen to me?" di tried to hide behind a smile but Khushi could see through it.

"Di don't lie to me. I know what you are feeling di," Khushi said in a sympathetic tone. "Di I didn't mean to open up old wounds. I wish I hadn't told everyone like that," Khushi went on.

"No Khushi ji, it is not your fault at all. You're pregnant with chotte's child. I am happy Khushi ji that my chotte will be a father, that I will be an aunt," she said.

"I know di. I know you are happy for me and arnav ji but still there is sadness in your eyes. I just wanted to say you can talk to me di, whenever you want I will always be here," Khushi said as she put a hand on her shoulder and left.

Khushi had spent the rest of the day doing house work. Everyone had told her to rest but she had just gotten so bored sitting all alone in her big empty room so she had helped Om Prakash. It was already 7 before she knew it and it was time for Arnav to come back home.

Arnav got back from work and looked around for Khushi. Where was she? He had checked everywhere in the house, but he could not find her. Then he went to the kitchen and thought of course she would be here. Of course she would do the only thing he had asked her not to.

"Khushi put down that knife," he said.

"Arnav ji, you are back," Khushi smiled. "Didn't you hear me, put that knife down Khushi," he said.

"What do you mean put the knife down? How will I cut the vegetables?" she asked.

"That is the point Khushi. I asked you to not do all this. Did I not ask you this morning to take things lightly, to rest? And then I come home and find you in the kitchen," he was getting angry now. He had asked her to rest, but she always strained herself. She looked so tired.

"Arnav ji this is nothing. I am just cutting vegetables," she said. Arnav knew she would not listen so he walked towards her backing her into the counter, and took the knife out of her hands and put it on the counter. Then he grabbed her hand and dragged her out of there and brought her upstairs to their bedroom, all the while she kept trying to free her hand.

So guys I dont know if you have read your pm's yet but here is the gist of it: I just started a new FF called wild cat which adds upto 4 ongoing FF. The thing is I can only have 2 ongoing at a current time, so I was thinking about ending Bundle of Joy, but I havent decided anything yet. I was just thinking. If I did end this then I would have time to work on Wild Cat. I have the prologue up. Its a romance thriller and its inspired by movies like Don and the Bourne Legacy. But if you guys want me to continue this then I can put Wild Cat on hold. I can work on it after I finish the Thin Line and Bundle. Please read the prologue first though and then choose, Bundle or Wild Cat.
