Part 8:

Khushi was sleeping in her room. It was late night. Her mother slept with her tonight as she was not well. Khushi dreamed..

Start of the dream..

Khushi was in a red colour saree arranging the bed when a pair of strong hands held her waist. She was about to turn behind to see him but he whispered in her ears..

Arnav: I want you to conceieve my child Khushi..

Khushi tried to remove his hands from her waist..

Khushi: How can you even think something like that..

Arnav: I am your husband Khushi.. I have all the rights to think so and fulfil it..

He made her lie on the bed and then started undressing her. She denied but he didnt listen to her even once.. The rest of the dream was blured enough and she could only think what would have happened after that. She then saw herself in a clinic with him and the doctor sitting in front of them..

Doctor: Congratulations Mrs Khushi.. You are pregnant...

And she looked shocked at the doctor while he smirked..

Dream end...

Khushi got up from her sleep and sat on the bed. She was sweating and was breathing hard. She looked at her surroundings and was happy when she came to know this was just a dream. She drank some water and relaxed. She was still scared. She looked at her mother and then hugged her tight and slept. But she couldnt get any sleep. She was scared by his words.. Would he really try to consumate their so called marriage some day? She hoped not..

The next day she was totally fine. She was in kitchen assisting her mother for lunch. Garima saw the nail marks on her wrists and then looked at her. She still looked confused, little worried and little messed up. Though she was helping her mother, her mind was somewhere else.

Garima: Khushi.. Whats the matter? Why are you looking so tensed from the time you came here..

Khushi: Maa.. Nothing.. I am just ok. Give me the tray.. I will serve Shyam his lunch in his room and be back.

Garima gave her the tray and she left. She was in the living room moving upstairs when she got a call on her landline number. She kept the tray aside and then answered the call.

Khushi: Hello.

Caller: Can I speak to Khushi.

Khushi: Speaking.

Caller: Good afternoon Maam.. This is just a confirmation call that you would be visiting the life care clinic today evening at 6:00pm for your check up.

Khushi: what check up? I didnt make any appointment.

Caller: Yes Maam, the appoinment was made on behalf of you by Aman from AR group.

Khushi was pissed off hearing this.

Khushi: I will call you back..

She said that and kept the call. She dialed the AR group reception desk number and asked them to connect to Aman.

Khushi: What the hell is this Aman?

Aman: Well this is not Hell. Its AR group office. May I know who's calling?

Khushi: Its khushi..

Aman: Ohh hey Khushi.. Did you get the confirmation call from Life care clinic?

Khushi: Who asked you to book an appoinment for me?

Aman: Well.. Who else other than your husband?

Khushi was shocked.

Aman: And not just that, your husband has even told me to make sure you go to the clinic today for the check up. If not then he would be dealing this issue himself..

Khushi: Know what.. Just tell your boss to go to hell.. I wont listen to his orders..

She said that and kept the call. She turned back and then saw her mom standing behind her. She was shocked. Hope she didnt hear anything.

Garima: Whose call Khushi?

Khushi: Maa. It was my friends call.

Garima: Name?

Khushi: Aman..

She said that, took the tray and left for shyams room. Garima was now feeling that something is sure wrong with her. She could not tell this to anyone. She thought of something and then went back to kitchen.

AR group

Aman entered Arnavs cabin.

Aman: I told you ASR.. She denied .. Why would she listen to me?

Arnav: Fine. I will deal with it.. What time is the appointment?

Aman: 6:00pm

Arnav: Ok..

Aman: That means you are taking her there?

Arnav: Do you think I have time for all this Aman?

Aman: Well.. you can get some time for her.. I mean I will manage everything here.. If you going.

Arnav: Aman.. I am not going .. Ok? But I will make sure she does...

Aman smiled and went out.Arnav called her again on her landline number..

Khushi was coming down with the empty tray. She heard the ring and then she picked the call. Garima was seeing her expressions from kitchen.

Khushi: Hello..

Arnav: I am sending my car to pick you in next 20 minutes. So get ready and go to the clinic.

Khushi: I wont.. And dont you dare call me again on my home number..

Arnav: khushi .. This is the last time I am warning you.. Dont talk like that to me..

Khushi: Then stop bothering me by calling me like this.

Arnav: In that case you listen to my orders at the first place.. I am sending the car. Dont make me come inside your home and drag you.

He said that and kept the call. Khushi had no other option even today. She knew shyam was at home and she didnt want Arnav to come home like this.. So she went in her room for getting ready. Garima was noticing her expressions while talking and she knew something was wrong. She decided to find out. In few minutes she saw Khushi dressed and going out. She didnt stop her. She just followed her till their gate and saw her entering a car. Garima went hurridly in khushi's room to see if she can find something there. She searched her cupboard and there she found Khushi's Mangalsutra. And she was shocked thinking what is this doing with Khushi. She called up Anjali and informed her of all her suspicions. Anjali too was shocked listening this. She assured garima that she will try to find out what was wrong with Khushi.

Khushi meanwhile reached the clinic and got the check up done. She then returned home.

It was night. Arnav was in RM working on his laptop. Anjali and Payal were seeing Payals wedding album. Arnav was not at all interested in their talks. But he still was sitting with them.

Anjali: Payal remember how Akash lifted you from the door and got you inside?

Payal: Yeah di. Actually Raizada's have nice traditions. Whenever a new bride comes in her sasuraal for the first time, she is always carried inside the house by the groom in his arms.. So Romantic .. Right?

Arnav hearing this was lost. He remembered how he carried unconscious Khushi in his arms yesterday . Even it was Khushi's first entry in her sasuraal. He was lost in her thoughts. Her resistance during the marriage, her scary eyes while signing the legal documents, her applying sindoor in the temple, her fear in the guest house when she was pinned by him, her breathing hard when he said about how he would make sure she would conceive his child if she continues taking those Pills... Everything.. Anjali saw Arnav all lost.

Anjali: Chotte.. What are you thinking?

Arnav: Nothing Di.. Hari Prasad.. Hari prasad...

He started calling for Hari Prasad but he didnt get any reply from him.

Anjali: I think Hari Prasad must be in the Kitchen. You wanted something?

Arnav: Yeah Di.. I have a file on the table in my room. Wanted him to get it.

Anjali: I will get it for you..

Arnav: No Di.. Thats fine.. You sit.. I will get..

Anjali: Ok..

Arnav went upstairs leaving his Phone on the table beside Anjali. Anjali and Payal were still seeing the Album when Arnav's phone which was on Silent mode vibrated.. Anjali looked for the number whose call it was and she read "Mrs ASR".

And she was totally shocked to read it. What did that mean ? Arnav was married? Really? How could he? And to whom? Or was it that he was in affair with someone and was interested in marrying this girl. SO may be he saved it as "Mrs ASR". Well she was about to pick the phone when she saw Arnav coming down and she looked back to Payal as if she didnt see at all Arnav's phone. Arnav came back.

Anjali: Chotte.. I guess you were getting some call.

Arnav: Ok..

He checked and saw it was Khushi's call.

He looked at Anjali to see what her reaction was if she had read the name on his phone but Anjali didnt show anything like that. He took his Phone and went aside to call her back..
