okay so this might be a little random, I seriously didn't decide what I would write, but I just sort of went with the flow..so now no sandals, slippers , converse especially stilettos and along the lines to be thrown at my face! :p

Chapter 3:
Swayam was sitting beside Sharon, she was driving. He gazed outside the window, mind totally blank, just staring at the blurred figures. Sharon was sure to get a ticket if she kept speeding like she was. It was late in the night, around two thirty.
She had a calm look on her face. Focused on driving, she was tired though. She kept yawning every two three minutes. And blinking her eyes, and rubbing away the sleep with her knuckles.
Sw: Sharon, shall I drive? You are tired, mera ghar abhi sirf 10 minutes door hai, I shall drop you first.
Sh: no one drives my baby except me! I am absolutely fine, I can drive and I am so not sleepy- yawn- okay, fine a little bit maybe, but I can manage.
Sw: as you wish.
She kept driving, and they were nearing his house, his house was near a hill, a very peaceful place, there was a huge drive way leading up to his house which was set up on a slant. Just adjacent to the driveway were the hills, which led to a forest.
Soft music was pouring out of the stereo. Sharon was listening yo soothing jazz. Swayam was pretty impressed by her choice of music, cause he had expected something very rock, or hip hop from her.
Sw: Sharon, tum jazz kabse sunne lag gai?
Sh: nai , yeh mera pen drive nai hai...it's rey's, he had lent-
Before she could complete the sentence, the tyres screeched On the asphalt driveway, she tried changing the direction, but the force of the car was too much to handle, she tried to shut of the ignition, a stupid move cause that locked the steering wheel, panicked she dropped the keys.
Suddenly she looked over at swayam, seeing him frantically trying to open the door, which was child locked. That was due to her stupidity, she had locked the car so that swayam couldn't escape. She was on the verge of tears, there was nothing that she could do, the car by now, was tumbling down the hill, straight towards the forest.
Swayam looked at her, telling her to open her seat belt. She couldnt register what he was saying, her mind had shut off. He animatedly motioned with his hands to calm her down. He pressed the red button, that held the seat belt.
Sh: swayam what are you doing! Don't open my seat belt! She shrieked as she went flying from her seat and her bare back hit the chilled glass.
They were moving at a really dangerous speed, and to top it, the hilly path was now coming to an end, they were heading straight towards the forest. Which meant a lot of trees.
Sw: trust me Sharon, give me your hand, just le the handle go and switch places.
Sh: are you out of your mind? Both of us will die! Can't you see the steering is locked!
Sw: I know that! Just hold my hand, and listen to me just this once! He screamed.
Sharon hesitantly held onto his outstretched hand. He pulled her towards his seat with full force and she went crashing in his lap. She held onto him for her dear life. The tears were slowly escaping now and soaking swayam's shirt as he soothed her.
They were slowing down, As the slant was coming to an end. Swayam looked out of the window, only to see the car moving in the direction of the tree. Just a minute and they would crash into it. He quickly got up from his seat only to be pulled back by the seat belt. He quickly unclasped the belt and got up, and banged his head on the roof.
Sw: ow! Sharon , mujhe chodo. We will crash Sharon, we have to get out from the drivers seat, please Sharon open your eyes!
Sharon had shut her eyes, she had lost all hope, she was waiting, waiting for them to collide, for the deafening sound of metal hitting something hard. She was glad that she wasn't dying alone. She didn't wan t leave his hand, she wanted to die with him.
Sh: no. I will not leave you. She whispered as she open her eyes.
Sw: Sharon we don't have time for all this! Bloody he'll! Leave me Sharon!
Sharon was somewhat hurt, swayam wanted to save himself and leave her like this? She was furious! This is what she hated about men! They were not trust worthy. She let go of his hand and sat down on the seat, getting a full view of her death, she could see the car nearing the tree, in full speed! They would crash any moment. She smiled, waiting for the impact, for death. Her smile was victorious , triumphant. Her eyes fluttered close and she let go of her body, making it limp.
She crashed, crashed into something hard, all the happy moments of her life were dancing in front of her closed eyes. It was like someone had flicked on a slideshow of her entire life, the only thing that troubled her that, swayam was included in the slideshow, and he was the only thought that she had in her mind.
She heard the crash, a deafening sound. Wait a minute, but it sounded a little distant, it was like she wasn't inside the car anymore. She opened her eyes slowly...sure enough, she wasn't inside the car.
But she could see a large chunk of metal jutting out of a huge tree. The front right hand side door was lying next to the tree on the ground. She hadn't realised that while she was waiting for darkness to engulf her, a pair of strong arms had shoved her out of the car, and she had landed on the sticky, sloppy and muddy ground. Wait? What? Muddy?
Yes it was raining. She heaved a sigh of relief, she was alive. She smiled. But suddenly a light bulb flickered inside her head.
Where is swayam?! Oh my god! Swayam!! She got up hurriedly, wincing in pain, as a sharp pain erupted in her ankle and her right arm. She was bruised , quite badly. She was bleeding from several places, but that wasn't her priority now. She limped all the way to the car, and searched everywhere around it, but she couldn't find swayam. She was crying again, in frustration , in guilt! It was all her fault. She had searched everywhere.
Sh: swayam! Sss..sway..am! SWAYAM! She gasped out in between silent sobs.
Sh: kahan ho tum? Swayam please, if this is a joke I swear I will kill you!
She moved to the car, as it was the only place left, where she had not checked. She was too afraid to see the car. She felt like it would suddenly turn into a monster, roar back to life and smash her into the tree.
She carefully made her way to the car, avoiding the twigs, and leaves in her path. She took in a deep breath and climbed inside the passenger seat. She bent down, and started waving her hands, searching for something solid, in the dark. Finally her hand hit something like fabric.
She got up and flicked on the small light that was dangling in the air along with the rear view mirror, she was hoping that it was still working. It flickered a little but now she could see, swayam lying on the ground, he had passed out.
Sharon tried not to freak out, as she saw the blood pouring out of his head, and several other places. She dragged him out of the car, as gently as possible. She put his arms around her shoulder and dragged his unconscious self, to the back seat.
She was gasping for breath, swayam was really heavy , specially since his body was life less.
She touched his forehead, which was smeared with blood. He was stone cold. And the rain didn't help much. She shouldn't have got him out in the first place, he was totally drenched now, and his wet hair was making it difficult for her now, to wipe away the blood. He was shivering. He needed heat.
She opened the dash board in the front seat, fishing out the emergency first aid kit. She thanked the car company and god. She was surprised at how calm she was,
How well she was handling the situation. She wiped out the blood with some cotton and the rain water, she knew that the dirty rain water might infect the wound but she had no option.
Once she had firmly bandaged his head, she unbuttoned his already soaked shirt, and grabbed her rehearsal duffel bag. She started wiping the blood and the water, she didn't want him to have a fever too or even worse! Pneumonia! She shuddered at the thought, and quickened her pace.
She couldn't make him wear the wet shirt, and neither could she leave him without any covering. She didn't know what to do. The least she could think of was to cover him with her jacket , which she did.
She sat down with his head on her lap, she rolled down the front window, singular cause the right gate was blown off. She had shut all the doors, and opened the windows slightly, so that they could stay warm. She switched on her cellphone, but couldn't find any network. She had no idea how to get out if this mess.
She was hungry, cold and the most important, she was helpless and clueless. She had food but it was locked, and she couldn't open it since she had lost the keys.
Tears started streaming down her face,as she cried her heart out. It was dark, and they were in a Forest, and swayam's life depended on her. She hugged him, trying to supply him with some heat. Only if she could find the keys, she could at least try to switch on the heater.
She face palmed! How could she be so stupid?! She had a spare key in her purse. She grabbed her duffel, and fished out the key. A little bubble of hope formed inside her. She ran all the way to the drivers seat, avoiding the horrible pain in her ankle which travelled all the way to her body. She inserted the key, and twisted it. She heard a click, and the car roared to life. She screamed in joy, she started reversing the car, only to realise that there was almost no fuel in the car and she didn't know the way. And she couldn't possibly drive up the hill. She burst into a new set of tears, absolutely loosing it! She slammed her face into the steering wheel.
Eventually her tears dried out. And one look at swayam brought her back to earth. She switched on the heater, hoping that the battery would hold that much power. She shut the windows yes, the front window was half broken but she didn't want the heat to escape and roughly dragged the disheveled door to the car and placed it in front of it, making the window rest on the seat, the door blocked a part of the open area though not the whole of it.
Nevertheless , she scrambled back to swayam, and sat down beside him in the same position, with swayam's head on her lap. The car was much warmer, but the faint smell of blood, was making her nauseas.
She gently leaned over swayam and lied down. She shut her eyes, totally exhausted. The only thing in her mind was that swayam should survive, and the next thing that she wanted to see when she woke up in the morning should be a happy and healthy swayam.
She closed her eyes, and wished for sleep to embrace her. She drifted off to sleep with high hopes, fright, restlessness and many other feelings. Wishing for the morning to come soon.
