Geet: Kya Maan ko apni galti ka ehsaas ho gaya? [Did Maan ralize his mistake?]

Maan: Geet wo' [Geet I was ']

She turned to face Maan

Geet: (thinking) Ek baar apne sachhe pyar ka aaina dhikakar mujhe rokh lijiye Maan main ab bhi saari baate bhulane ko taiyaar hoon' [Just show me the mirror of your true love and stop me Maan I am ready to forget this entire entire episode]

Maan: Wo main tumse [I wanted to ask ']

Geet: (thinking) Bus ek baar keh dijiye Geet main tumse pyar karta hoon'kahiye Maan ab bhi baat itni nahi bigdi rokh lijiye apni Geet ko [Just confess that u love me Maan the situation is still under our control stop ur Geet from going Maan'stop ur Geet]

Maan started extending his hand towards Geet but he stopped midway

Geet's expectations were once again rising

Geet: (thinking) Ghabraiye mat Maan thaam lijiye mera haath isse pehle k main aapki pauch se dur chali jau apna haq jatakar rokh lijiye mujhe [Don't stop yourself Maan from holding my hands stop me by claiming me as yours before I go away far from ur reach]

Maan looked into her eyes and after few moments of hestitation he uttered

Maan: Geet tum ek cheez bhul rahi ho [Geet u r forgetting one thing]

Geet: (thinking)Haan aap sahi keh rahe ho main ye bhool jana chahti thi k main aapse pyar karti hoon par ab dil ki khwaish yahi hai k aap mujhe humare pyar ka kissa phir se yaad dilaye [Yes u r right I wanted to forget that I love u but now there is a last wish of my heart that u should make me recollect the beautiful bond of love that we share]

Maan: Geet'

Geet: (thinking) Boliye Maan ab aur intezaar nahi hotha [Tell me Maan I can't wait for any longer]

Maan extended his hand in front of her eyes

Geet was just about to place her hand in his when he finally gathered courage and uttered

Maan: Tum apna Mangalsutra utarna bhool gayi Geet [U forgot to remove your mangalsutra Geet]

She stood there completely paralyzed this last blow of Maan shattered her innocent and foolish heart completely

Maan looked into her eyes

Maan: Main nahi chahtha k kisi bhi cheez ko dekhkar tum koi galat umeed laga doh mujhe tumhara mangalsutra chahiye taaki humare beech koi dor baaki na rahe [I don't want u to make any false assumptions I want ur mangalsutra so that there is no bond that will remain which might link us]

He placed his hand exactly in front of her eyes

Geet: (thinking)

"Ek sapna tha inn aakhon mein jise humne phoolo ki tarah tarasha

Ek chehra tha iss dil ki panahon mein jise wahao k rango se humne sawara

There was an image in the folds of my heart which was built with the deep colors of loyalty

Geet: Mangalsutra? Kis mangalsutra ki baat kar rahe ho tum? [Mangalsutra? Where is the mangalsutra?]

Maan: Wahi jo tumhare gale mein hai [The one that is present around your neck]

Maan gulped his saliva as once again Geet's one question was enough to make him speechless

Geet: Isse bechkar shayad tumhe kuch khaas PROFIT na ho par ek suhagan ye uske pati k pyar ka wo anmol khazana hai jisse wo markar bhi khud se dur na jaane de [By selling this ornament u may not get a great PROFIT but for a married woman this is a precious possession of her husband's love which she won't allow anyone to snatch away from her even at the cost of her life]

Maan started trembling as Geet's every word was a sharp taunt on his face

Geet: Ismein 2 tareeke k motiyaan hothi hai tumhe toh yakeenan sunhere (golden) rang k motiyoon mein dilchaspi hogi par ek pati patni k liye kale motiyan bhi bade anmol hothe hai [There r 2 types of pearls in the mangalsutra; u might be interested in the golden pearl but for a husband and wife the black pearl is also very precious]

Geet: Sunehra rang k mothiyon se wo ek dusre se ye vaada karte hai k apni shadishuda zindagi ko humesha pyar aur wafa k roshni se ujagar rakhenge [By looking at the golden colored pearl the couple makes a promise that they will enlighten their married life with the beautiful aspect of love and faith]

Maan's eyes started wandering here and there as he did not possess the guts to look into Geet's eyes

Geet: Kaale mothiyon se wo apne rishte ko itna mazboot banane ki mannat maangte hai k chahe laak balaye aa jaaye par unka rishta humeaha kaayam raje kabhi tute nahi [With the black pearls they pray to the Almighty that whatever difficult situations they have to face the strength of their relationship remains intact and their bond does not break]

Geet: Ek dhaage mein in doh motiyoon ko eksaath dekhkar unhe ye ehsaas hotha hai k wo dono alag hai; zaruri nahi hai k dono ki pasand; dono k sapne ek jaise ho par unhe ek sachhe humsafar ki tarah humesha ek dusre ka saath dethe hue kuch khate meethe lamho se guzarkar apni puri zindagi ek saath bitani hai kyunki bina kale motiyon k aur bina sunhere motiyon k mangulsutra nahi banta ussi tarah bina ek dusre ka saath diye unka ye rishta adhura hai [Just by looking these 2 pearls together in one thread the couple realizes that it is not necessary that their likes their dreams may match but they have to walk together through some sweet ans bitter paths in their life as true soulmates as without the presence of black pearls or golden pearls the mangalsutra is incomplete similarly without each other's presence their relationship is incomplete]

Geet: Mangalsutra pyar, pavitrata, wafa, bharosa aur humesha saath nibhane ka vaada hai [Mangalsutra is a symbol of love, purity, loyalty, trust and a promise to remain each others in every phase of the life]

Geet: Tumne jo ye dhaga mere gale mein daala hai uski buniyaad jhooth, nafrat, dhoka hai toh isse tum mangalsutra ka naam kaise de sakthe ho? [The thread that u have ties around my neck is a symbol of dishonesty, hatred and deceit how can u call this as a mangalsutra?]

Maan was silent

Geet removed the mangalsutra from her neck and gave it to Maan

Maan's trembling hand went ahead to take the mangalsutra

Maan tries to pull it immediately from her hand as he was feeling suffocated

In this process the thread of the mangalsutra got cut and the golden and black pearls landing on the floor

Geet: Sahi kaha tumne ab tumhar aur mere beech kuch nahi bacha kuch nahi' [U were right there is nothing else left between us'absoulutely nothing]

She picked up her bag and starts walking outside

She remembers something

Geet: Ek baar tumne mujhse kaha tha k duniya bahut chothi hai hum phir milenge par aaj main tumse kehthi hoon k duniya bhale hi chothi ho main yahi dua karungi k hum ab dubara kabhi na mile [Once u had mentioned that the worls is small we will meet again but today I want to say teh worls might be small but I hope that we never meet again]

Saying so she stepped ouside his house or to be more precise she stepped outside his life
