Loved it. Arnav hiding under the desk was really funny. Akash and Payal have become friends. Khushi is going to have fun teasing Payal. Thanks for the PM. Love this ff. Pleas update soon.

Shay.

First off, big big BIG hug.

I loved it. One of your best chapters, yet.

Brilliant emotive description. Simply awesome.

Loved khushi's description of Arnav.

The vulnerability you've showcased on both sides.

"Khushi I have spent the last 4 years of my life watching my cousin become detached and so unlike himself. I think it's safe to say I have all the time in the world for your dukh bhari kahaani'he said as his hands went up to quote her words."

Love how you have worded this. Akash's concern. I love how you've fleshed out your characters.

'Imagine having one person you see without fail; who you talk to everyday. Imagine being able to tell them anything. Imagine not having to even say anything, and yet this person understands exactly what you're feeling. That's what Arnav was to me.'

That description was just beautiful. I can't really say anything morer, because it was just that- beautiful.

Akash was mesmerised. His eyes were focused on her serene features as she spoke out with such sincerity. How she managed to stay so calm all the time, he'd never know. He mentally bowed down to her as she carried on with her story, scrunching his eyebrows at the mention of the dreaded 'was' in the midst of it all.

Wow. Whatte. Loved loved loved it. That small "was"- changed EVERYTHING.

'His family were literally my own... Lata Aunty raised me just as much as she had Arnav. And so had my own Amma and Babuji vice versa. They were always there for me... Espeically Arnav. He was always there. He was there whenever I was in trouble. He was there when my parents died. He was there when I went through my adoption. He was there throughout it all'

How you have brought out what they shared. The underlying emotional connection and currents. Loved it.

'He didn't tell me.'

That one sentence brought tears to my eyes.

'For f**ks sake Arnav. This has got to be your lowest moment' he said derisively to himself,-

LOL!! That was hilarious. Arnav being scared of Payal. I love the Payal in your FF.

You were pretty funny though... Bechara, you looked so scared when I was shouting at you,' she said, giving him a mock-pout.

He looked at her intently from his hiding place. Her eyes were lit up, her laughter protruding from within her as she threw her head back and closed her eyes. She looked truly happy.

He thought for a moment and remembered the times when they were younger. The times when Arnav was in Akashs' place. The times when he was the one to make Khushi laugh like that.

He was jealous. Extremely jealous. But it was no ones fault but his.

He closed his eyes tight, her laughter still ringing in his ears as he envisioned a younger Khushi smiling at him, her teeth bared completely in pure happiness. He snapped his eyes open and looked back in to Akashs' office. He looked at Khushi again, his eyes burning as he willed the inevitable blink to stay put a few seconds longer so he could just watch her.

She was happy. She was truly happy in this moment. And in that moment, Arnav realised that this was probably the happiest she had been in years. He himself knew that he was the one to have taken that away from her. He was the one to cause her fake smile. And now, seeing her completely let go, he vowed himself to do everything in his power to keep her surrounded by this happiness, because Khushi deserved nothing less.

And as he looked at them once more - he understood completely that he deserved this. He deserved this distance and he deserved to be on the outside, looking in.

He remembered her words - she needed time, and she needed space. He nodded to himself conclusively.

'Whatever you want Khush... Whatever you want. I'm not leaving you. Ever again'

That was just awesome, Shay. His realization, frustration. His decision and all those unsaid, underlying emotions.

The way you write, it is real. The emotions, the people and the story you weave are things we can relate to. Like when I read, I can see it playing inside my head.

I don't know what lse to say. Just that I love how you write.

I loved the update Shay !!
So much, I cant even tell you !

I love the easy flow of emotions between Aakash and Khushi ! They are just gonna make a rocking pair here, and one things I feel for sure is, though Khushi might have lost Arnav , she definitely has got a gem of a person in Akash !

And the office scene with the three of them ! And payal asking her apology !!
This is gonna be so much of fun when Khushi tells this to Anjali, and Anjali teases Akash and Khushi Payal !! haiii ! I cant wait for that moment !

Arnav, oh Arnav, what am I to say ?
He deserves the distance, maybe he does not, I do not know !
But hearing Khushi's story, he should be grateful enough that he's atleast getting a second time around with her, and I guess he is ! Cause leaving yur best friend totally unknown of whether you live or not, is just so cruel !

Loved the update !
PS: I have a feeling that Khushi knows Arnav is watching her through the glass, will she confront him on that ??

Another wonderful update. Akash know what happened b/w Khushi and Arnav in khushi's pov. Arnav is afraid of Payal. How will Payal react when she will know Arnav loves khushi ? Eager to see that. Finally Arnav realized that he is ready to do what ever it takes to bring his Khushi back. Payal and Akash r cute.

in the language of my students, an awesome update! just loved the idea of arnav cowering under the desk in fear of payal! khushi sharing her pain and confusion at arnav's abandonment, with akash and the latter's empathy was very well delineated... the unbridled joy akash payal and khushi share once their slight misunderstanding was cleared up, especially khushi's plans to tease her sister, was much needed... arnav looking on from the outside clearly showed the extent of his realisation that he was responsible for burning all his bridges when it came to khushi... thank god he has now sworn to keep her happy always... can't wait to see how he abides by his resolution... also keen to watch the budding romance between akash and payal
