edit edit: Okay, so I will begin by saying what I assume a ridiculous number of the comments for this chapter will probably be along the lines of OMG THAT WAS SO HOT WISH IT WAS ARNAV AND KHUSHI PLZ 2 UPDATE SOON PLZ? (I also hope that some of the people who want to write that comment will see this and be embarrassed into trying to defy me and so put something more interesting for you 😆).

And now for the rest:

Every chapter of Perfection leaves me feeling like I've learnt something. Like I've had a conversation with a really wise friend who is imparting knowledge about the realities of life which makes my head spin. It makes it all the more satisfying to read. And can I just say, I think it's brilliant that it was all done through Payal and Aakash.

I loved the way you kind of lifted the veil on Payal's immaturity- the way you described her irrational and poorly thought-out plan to leave and helped her to grow as a woman through Aakash's understanding and explaining: Instead of making the two characters' calmness and serenity a weakness you've flipped it on its side and made it a quiet strength.

I think if I have to pick a favourite bit in this chapter, it would be how Payal and Aakash both came to the realisation that Khushi would fight for Arnav: that Arnav and Khushi share a love so different to their own but just as strong. Aakash once again helping Payal to grow in her understanding by explaining to her that Arnav does trust Khushi but can't show it. EEE I LOVE AAKASH OMG. He understands his brother and he understands that his wife DOESN'T understand his brother and he tries to fill in the gaps. He's perfect. He actually is. Is the title about him? Because it's fitting.

I actually want to thank you for using a chapter all the sex-fanatic fangirls will read to show Payal's adamant belief that she has the better husband. Payal wishing that Khushi could've gotten a husband who truly cherishes her like Aakash. I hope at least ONE la-la-land lunatic understands that a relationship doesn't have to be full of fights and pain and misunderstandings to be passionate and satisfying and truly loving.

Ooh and one final thing; the battle references, the preparation for "war", the warriors, the knights, the battle-lexicon etc. were genius. Seriously. Interspersed with the fact that it all took place in a bedroom with the people involved relaxing... While the last chapter felt like the calm before a storm, this one felt like people in the weather room looking at the charts and deciding "Ho shiz... We've got a hurricane approaching."

Another absolutely breathtaking chapter.

Hahaah I look forward to meeting Peanuts and/or Pookie Poo. And I don't know. Maybe you're secretly the Arnav to my Khushi and we have secret telepathic conversations which neither of us remember or discuss in the future?

There are two love stories happening here - and I wouldn't expect Payal to have the same insight as what Khushi would have of her relationship. Which is why I liked how you introduced her POV on their relationship, and on Khushi's struggles.

She thought like an elder sister, whose first instinct is to protect her younger sibling form any harm whatsoever. Doesn't matter whether that harm is from a parent or a husband - the sister cannot tolerate any sort of pain that her sibling may be in.

Then she thought like a woman, crying for the injustice towards Khushi throughout this marriage - throughout her life.

And she cried because she didn't understand why the poor soul was being ripped apart in such a way.

Then she thought as a mother. She wished that she could trade places and take away all the pain from Khushi.

All these were beautifully described. It could be that even Khushi may not agree to Payal's view of her relationship, because Khushi is a different character altogether.

She can handle Arnav in her own way. And I am sure she will.

But Payal felt what she saw; she felt what she was meant to feel because that's who she is.

Not sure if I am making much sense. But all I want to say is that I loved how you described the difference in both the sisters in terms of their thinking, their life, their views, their respective strength, and their men.

I haven't read a chapter where someone has managed to get into the flesh of Payal and Khushi, and make those two stand apart in their own way with their own strengths shining through, and their own personalities emerging.

read both the chapters... fabulously written.. Payal emerging in the scene reminds me of the initial days of this FF; where Payal took charge to save her lil sis very very smartly...

the most unfortunate in whole story is NK.. he is what everyone would want as a lover.. he is not boring, very loving and the best friend anyone could ask for.. he deeply loves khushi but he can't have her and can't take away her pain.. the worst is always to see your loved ones in pain... NK has to see but can't do anything about it.. the one who has her love; is the one who gives her the most pain..

Arnav.. he is a different story all together.. in his fight to not become like his father or in fighting the past demons.. all he is doing is hurting and bruising his love, his life.. his reason of existence..

The differences in their characters Akash- Arnav and their relationships is striking! the bond between Payal and Akash is so deep and still grounded unlike Arnav Khushi.
Payal as the wicked witch 😉 nice. I really do hope after the previous update Khushi does fight for Arnav.
