Comment for Chapter 18

A chapter which was filled with power, dominance and helplessness. The Power and dominance held by the venom of a father and the power and dominance held by Riddhima's own body. The agony and discomfort of her own body was in conflict with her inner turmoil, her inner desire to win, she wanted to sense the feeling of victory but it every time she is on the verge of getting somewhere she is left disappointed and faced with what she calls her 'death' The more she tries to run away from 'death' the more she comes face to face with it. Death is unexpected, but in riddhima's case can be it referred to as expected? She knows and has accepted that death is awaiting her. Her will to fight against reality and fight against death is admirable. She is so weak...yet she is so strong. Yes she is drained out physically but emotionally she is a warrior in disguise. I admire her courage and bravery, after all she has been through she still has that inner will to fight, to not give in.

Life is all about taking chances, some end up doing you good while others end up paving a path of thorns for you, but nonetheless taking chances gives you a feeling of satisfaction and does not give you an importunity to regret and mourn. Chances are there for taking, while its up to the individual to decide what to do with it. Riddhima is facing a situation where she does not have a choice but to take a chance, a chance to seek freedom, a chance to escape the torture, she was in seek of opportunities and here she is faced with chances, she will take the chances be it ends up making her disappear into oblivion or making her flout in joy.

It's funny how the person who she repulses is also the person she craves for. He affects her physically and emotionally. Her mind is in a state of confusion. She does not know which path to turn to, every trail she follows ends up leaving her imprinted. In terms of emotional turmoil, i hope A comes as a healing factor in her life in the future.

Mr. Mallik is despicable, with every chapter my hatred for him reaches new heights. His petty mind seems to think that he has everything, but in reality he has nothing, and he will be left with nothing. He is a man whose life is meaningless. A pour soul who is wondering around an environment where he is not welcomed - what does that mark him as ? Useless? Yes that's that he is. A useless piece of garbage who does not deserve the privilege of going through the recycling process, even if he does get a chance i doubt he will take heed and turn his life around.

I was very intrigued at how you started the chapter by emphasizing and giving utter importance to the 3 letter word c-r-y. It holds great depth and meaning. Life is a process which cannot be understood, it holds great confusions and many trials and tribunals, it is the responsibility of the individual to take decisions which will make them come out stronger or make decisions which make you drown in a pitch hole. Every person sheds tears throughout the journey of life, they can be either tears of joy or tears to express grief, be it either way, tears are a part of life. You wrote 'life starts with crying and ends with others crying' - that is a very powerful sentence there but very true. Why do we cry when we are born? is it because of the fear of entering a world of oblivion? or is it because of joy? *stops rants* lol.

'The end i was trying so hard to delay i was slowly reaching towards that end' Armaan's eagerness and desperateness in trying to protect riddhima, had be moved. This man here has only been inflicted by pain, he craved for love for which he never received from his demon of a father and when he did acquire that love, it was snatched very ruthlessly, which again makes me wonder is Mr.Mallik scared of being alone? surely every person out there craves for someone to call their own, no matter how dominant and powerful they be, the feeling of loneliness kills a person from the inside, it's like a slow torturous death. Moving onto A, his will to scalp his father, shows as to how much he wants this man out of his life, and to what lengths he can go to keep his promise to R sister *forgot her name* and a midst all this the desire to keep her alive is a need, a secret need which he himself needs to realize.

His reaction in seeing her lying on the ground and then witnessing at how desperately she was screaming at him through her eyes to give her the privilege of staying alive, shows how helpless the two were, and how helpless the situation they were in was. There is no time for thinking, in times like this decisions need to be made wisely and pronto and that's frightening! The inner scourge of having someone's life dependent on your shoulders makes you fearful and increases anxiety, A knew he had to make decisions...good decisions that will benefit them both. His plight is understandable and also very fearful.

I liked reading how A's view on his father has changed drastically. He once was 'father' but now he is merely a man. Being in a situation where the person who you once admired and looked upon at and now seeing him controlling the buttons of your life in a way which can automatically can put an end to your life with the click of a button is a feeling of hurt and betrayal. As much as A hates his father he is hurt as much by his doings, and despite his evil doings he still acknowledges that fact that Mallik was responsible in bringing him into this world and no one can blur that fact, this shows how human A is and that he can never become what his father is, because he appreciates his fathers doings for him. Regardless of all that he is still aware that the person who is in front of him is no longer his father but his enemy.

Mallik knows A weakness and he is using emotional turmoil to shatter him. It seems like he enjoys seeing the plight of his son - what sort of father is he? A realizes that he cannot be the man that his father is, his conscious gave him the support and determination of rejecting his fathers path of life and choosing between right and wrong - that is true strength. As a son he failed he says but i say as a father Mallik failed. A is different to his father and that's what makes him stand out. He is special.

Joseph was a surprise package he definitely took me by surprise. He just popped out of nowhere😆 A savior in disguise. His inner hatred for Mallik gave him an opportunity to lash out his feelings and vuala 3 gonshots! I like joseph please don't make him be dead :( He's mysterious. But i'd be stupid to think that Mallik is dead. I'm sure he escaped. *also hopes that joseph is merely injured* lol.
