Swayam Shekhawat had been called a lot of things in his life. Cute, intelligent, handsome, an awesome dancer, a good friend, ridiculously sexy (Yes, that too) and an all-round good guy.

But Prince Charming?

That was a first.

I looked down at the cute curly haired kid that looked awe-struck and said, "HUH?"

Yes, that's pretty much all I can muster up at the moment.

I then looked at Sharon who looked petrified as shit. Maybe she could offer a better explanation to this fiasco.

"Am I hearing this right?" I whispered to Sharon.

"PRINCE CHARMING." Said the kid, louder this time.

I then looked down at her and said, "Kid, you must have this all wrong. I'm Swayam." I said, and offered my hand to her as a truce.

This Prince Charming, familiar name. Where the hell had I heard it before?

"I'm never wrong!" The kid said haughtily. "I'm a genius."

Looks like humility ran all through this family.

"Alright," I said fastening my band-aid, "Who told you I'm a Prince Charming?"

"She did!" the kid said, pointing at Sharon who was looking at me like I killed puppies for a living. The horror was evident in her face.

"YUP, you are a Prince Charming! You look like him too!"

I laughed out loud and looked at the kid. Whoa. She reminded me so much of Sharon.

The kid finished her glass of water and gave me a once over.

"Arya, right?" I said and the kid nodded, "Most Prince Charming's I know don't look even a bit like I do."

"But Sharon said that you have brown hair, brown eyes and cute dimples!" She yelled.

I looked at Sharon in awe. And Sharon looked absolutely mortified.

"Really, Sharon?" This conversation had just become a whole notch more interesting.

"SHA-RON! YOU LIED TO ME!" The kid was screaming like a banshee and I was afraid I would have a seizure any second.

"THAT IS ENOUGH, ARYA!" Sharon yelled even louder.

Now that was the Sharon I knew.

"Go up to bed right now." She said. And Arya gave her a look of the century.

"You lied, Sharon! That's not cool!" She said.

"ARYA-"

"I am Prince Charming." I proclaimed and winced immediately. Dramatic much, Swayam?

Arya looked at me in wonder and said, "You are?"

I shot Sharon a quick look and she refused to meet my eyes. I bent down to Arya's level and said, "Yup, this is me."

Arya seemed to calm down and said, "I knew it! You look like him too! I knew it the second I saw your tattoo!"

This time, I went reeling into shock. I looked at the kid in suspicion and said, "Who told you about my tattoo?"

"DUH, it was Sharon!"

I looked at Sharon, in embarrassment more than anything else.

SHIT.

No one was supposed to know about my tattoo except Rey. And that too because he found out.

"Sharon?" I asked questioningly.

She was beet-red.

"You knew?" I whispered.

She nodded in the affirmative and before I could ask her how, Arya cut through the conversation, "Why didn't you tell me in the beginning?"

"Because-"Sharon started in anger.

"Arya, I don't want everyone to know that I'm a Prince, you know?" I said, hoping that I sounded convincing. Come on, Swayam! Turn on the charm.

"You don't trust me?" the kid asked.

"Course I do, Arya. That's why I told you. It's not safe for everyone to know. I could be putting your life in danger, and I wouldn't want that." I said, quite enjoying the myriad of emotions on Sharon's face.

"Too much hassle, right? Everyone knowing! All the expectations-"the kid started off.

"ENOUGH! The both of you!" Sharon yelled.

"Arya! To your room, NOW."

"I don't have to listen to you, SHARON! I wanna stay down here! It's scary on top and you won't even talk to me!" the kid yelled.

Sharon looked upset and I couldn't help but feel bad for her at the moment. Arya looked equally annoyed.

"AND" the kid added, "DO NOT TALK TO A PRINCE LIKE THAT!" She yelled.

I couldn't help but do a little victory dance as Sharon gaped like a fish.

"Arya, that's not a nice way to talk to your cousin." I said. Sharon looked at me suspiciously.

"But she's no fun and she's mean!" the kid whined.

"You think I'd be hanging out with her if she wasn't nice?" I asked.

The kid scrunched up her face in confusion and said, "Um, maybe-"

"No, I wouldn't be, Arya. She's actually-"I said, looking at Sharon's face with no barriers whatsoever, "Something special."

Sharon took in a deep breath and looked up at me, her eyes all glassy.

"Yeah, SURE." Arya snorted.

AND, the moment's over folks.

I looked at Sharon and noticed how messy and tired she looked. She looked like one of those home-makers, her hair disheveled and her face and clothes full of flour.

Almost realizing how misleading her appearance was, Sharon blushed and stood behind the counter.

"Swayam-"she started off.

"Your highness." Cut in Arya smoothly.

I looked at the kid and couldn't help but ruffle her hair. She was my knight in shining armor.

"YOUR HIGHNESS," said Sharon sarcastically, "We should get on with work. Just let me take a shower."

"Wait," I said. She stopped her fear evident. "What's with this whole Prince thing?" I whispered so that only both of us could hear.

"I'll tell you later." She said, hurriedly and ran up the stairs.

I turned around and looked at the little kid. Wasn't she supposed to be sleeping?

"SO." I said, not knowing what to say.

"Where's your royal horse?" She asked, in curiosity.

GOD, what was I signing myself up for?
