As everything went fine, it was time for gunjan and samrat to enter the next stage of their relation- parent-hood. Every couple wishes to have their child, and the same was with these two, when they realized that it was time for them have a child.

The day samrat came to know that gunjan was pregnant, his happiness knew no bounds. He wished to scream and tell the world that how soon he was going to be a father. Gunjan too was equally happy, but at the same time, she was worried too. It seemed as if something was missing in this state of happiness, and samrat knew that very well. He had tried several times to talk to Dr. Shashank, but he was not at all ready to listen anything. This time, samrat once again made up his mind to talk to him and let him also know about gunjan's pregnancy. He was sure that after knowing that, Dr. Shashank would forget all the issues which created distances between him and his daughter and would once again come on talking terms with her. At times, samrat provoked gunjan to forget everything and speak to her father, but it was quite hard for her to forget that her father insulted her husband in front of her!

"tumse maine hazaar baar kaha hai ki mujhe tumhari koi baat nahi sunni hai, lekin tum fir yahan aa gaye?" Shashank barked in anger, when he saw samrat at his place.

"iss baar main aapse wo kehne nahi aaya hun jo hamesha se kehta aa raha hun." Samrat replied, "balki aaj main yahan aapko ek good news dene aaya hun'"

"matlab?"

"matlab ye, ki gunjan pregnant hai." Samrat replied after a short pause.

Shashank could not believe what samrat had said few seconds ago. It took time for him to realize that whatever samrat had said was true. Padma, who too was present in the room, was extremely overjoyed to learn about her daughter's pregnancy. She had tears of happiness filled in her eyes, but Shashank remained in the same way, but actually, he was too numb to react.

"ab bhi aap apni naraazgi dikhayenge?" Padma asked to him in a teary tone, "hamari beti ki zindagi mein nayi khushiyaan aane waali hai, kya aapka gussa rehna use takleef nahi deta hoga?"

"aur gunjan bhale hi aapse baat na kare, lekin uski aankhon mein takleef maine dekhi hai'" samrat spoke, "wo aapke bahut kareeb hai' aur apni har khushi aapse share karna chahti hai'. Kya uski khushiyon mein shaamil hona aapka farz nahi banta hai?"

"wo apni zindagi mein khush hai' maine aapse kaha tha ki wo hamesha khush rahegi' aap ek baar uski baat maan toh lete' aaj wo maan banne waali hai, isse badi khushi ki baat aur kya hogi!" padma cried.

Shashank again did not say anything. Though the happiness was clearly visible in his eyes, he tried to keep control on his emotions. Samrat went on pleading to him to forget everything and accept that gunjan is happy in her married life. His words had a strong affect on Shashank, as he lost his control over emotions.

"mujhe meri beti ke paas le chalo samrat' mujhe' mujhe usse milna hai'" these were Shashank's words, as he turned behind with teary eyes. A father can never stay away from his daughter for a long time, and especially when some happiness knocked the door of his daughter's life. He was extremely happy to know that soon his daughter would enter into the state of mother-hood, but at the same time, he felt guilty for being angry with her for such a silly reason! She was leading a happy life with samrat- then why did Shashank fail to see that!

Gunjan was impatiently waiting for samrat in evening. Ever since she told him that she was pregnant, samrat made a habit to come home as early as possible and spend more time with her and share some household works with her to lower her burden. But today he said that he had some important work, so he'd be late at home.

*ting*

She heard the door-bell ring and sent a servant to open the door, as she was not feeling well so she took rest in her room. Samrat entered in the room with a jovial look on his face. But he frowned to see gunjan's condition, as her hairs were slightly messed up and she looked pale.

"kya hua meri jaan ko?" samrat asked in concern, as he sat beside her.

"kuchh nahi hua tumhari jaan ko' bas sar mein thoda dard hai'" gunjan replied clumsily. "waise tumhara kaam ho gaya? Kaisa raha?"

"Yes Mrs. Shergill, aur aapke liye ek surprise bhi hai." Samrat smiled.

"kaisa surprise?" gunjan asked with twinkling eyes.

"udhar dekho'"

Samrat pointed towards the door. Gunjan moved her gaze in the same direction, and she was astonished to see her parents entering in the room. While both Padma and Dr. Shashank were happy to see gunjan, she was still surprised and confused at the same moment. She looked at samrat still with same expression, who smiled slightly and blinked his eyes.

There were so many things to say! So many doubts to clear between gunjan and her father, but none of them said anything. Both had tears in their eyes and a rage of mixed emotions ran in them. In no while, gunjan stood up from her bed and ran to hug her father, who hugged her back with equal love and caressed her head gently, whispering apology into her ears.

"mujhe maaf kar do beta''. Maine tumhare saath bahut galat kiya hai'" Shashank said.

"papa please'. Aap mujhse maafi mat maangiye' aap bade hain mujhse.." gunjan cried, "galti meri hai, jo aapse itne dino tak naraaz rahi'."

"par maine hi tumhe khud se naraaz rehne par majboor kiya tha beta!" he admitted, "galti meri hai' main kyun nahi tumhare pyaar ko samajh saka' kyun maine tumhe aur samrat ko alag karne ki koshish ki'"

They both cried, still hugging each other. Padma was satisfied to see that atleast her husband accepted his mistake, while samrat was happy to see the daughter and father finally re-unite, clearing all the mis-understandings between them and wiping away the distances between them.

"mujhe iss baat ki bahut khushi hai beta, ki tum samrat ke saath apni shaadi-shuda zindagi mein khush ho' aur ab tum dono ki zindagi mein ek naya mehmaan bhi aane wala hai'" Shashank smiled, breaking the hug and caressing gunjan's face, who too smiled back and lowered her gaze.

Samrat and padma stood there, smiling widely to see both gunjan and Shashank happy. Shashank then saw samrat and realized that his judgment about him was wrong. He had gradually changed his thinking towards samrat, as he realized that he has got the best son-in-law.

"mujhe maaf kar do samrat! Shashank said, walking towards him, "maine shuru se hi galat samjha'. Tumhare baare mein hamesha se hi meri soch galat thi'"

"aap mujhse bade hain'. Aapko mujhse maafi nahi maangna chahiye'." Samrat said quickly, "gunjan ko bhi toh y dekh kar achha nahi lagega, ki jisko log itni izzat dete hain, wo kisi aur se maafi maange'"

"par beta, main toh apni galti ke liye hi maafi maang raha hun'"

"maine kaha tha na aapse, ki samrat laakhon mein ek hai?" padma smiled proudly, "iski dil ki sachchai iski aankhon mein saaf nazar aati hai' mujhe shuru se hi bharosa tha ki ye kabhi bhi kisi ko bhi shikayat ka mauka nahi dega'!"

"tum sahi keh rahi ho!" Shashank admitted, "bhale hi main aaj galat saabit ho gaya, lekin iski sabse zyada khushi mujhe hi hai'"

And the things went fine. Though late, but Shashank had understood that samrat was the best choice for gunjan and they both cannot live without each other.

And as the things went back to their normal state, armaan resumed to work in Dr. Shashank's hospital, Sanjeevani, and accompanied him in several major cases and operations.

Samrat's darling sister suhani was living a happy married life with adhiraj and they both even had a one year old son. They named him Ankush, who was a true copy of adhiraj.

Dia, who was still a good friend to samrat and now gunjan too, owned a fashion house in London and was engaged to her family friend's son.

And with this, life had completely changed for samrat and gunjan too. They had finally entered in the state of parent-hood, as gunjan gave birth to two beautiful angels; their twin daughters, who were believed to bring more luck, more happiness and more prosperity in their lives. They both named the first girl as Sonal, which meant 'golden', and the other girl was named as Sonam, which meant 'gifted'.

Hence, their family was complete, with caring grand-parents in Dr. Shashank, Padma and SD, loving uncle and aunt in Armaan, Suhani and Dia, a strict mother in Gunjan, and a father in Samrat who loved to pamper and spoil his cute dolls!

"Destiny Made Us For Each Other" was not simply a love-story of two people who were bound to be together by the games of fate, but, this was also about several other relations which somehow influenced the journey of Samrat & Gunjan from friendship to love, and also, these relations were affected due to their unexpected wedlock.

This fiction not only covered the struggle through which Samrat & Gunjan went through to get a content life, but this also showed the several relations which hold great importance in our day-to-day life. These relations went through several ups and downs, but the bad times were supposed to be the testing times of a person, to see whether how strong a person is to fight with the problem, and how mature is a person to think sensibly under stressed situations.

This was the journey of a mother to see her children settled in their lives before she dies; this was the journey of a father to see his daughter living a happy married life; this was the journey of a person to win back his love and friendship; and last but not the least, this was the journey of a girl to know where her happiness resides in.

After losing the trust of his best friends (Gunjan & Armaan), Samrat left the country and pursued his studies in London, where he found a best friend in Dia, with whom he shared his every pain and grief. Dia too proved to be an understanding friend. If love was another name for friendship, it could be said that Dia loved Samrat. She can be also referred to as the 'Modern-Age's Meera', who was a true devotee of Lord Krishna. In the reference to this story, Dia has been true to Samrat and always tried her best to reduce his pain.

When the situations became such that Indira wanted to see her children settled in their lives before she died, Samrat unwillingly married Gunjan on the basis of a contract, according to which, they would part their ways once Indira dies. But since the Fate HAD to bring them together, Gunjan came to know that Samrat truly and deeply loved her since their college days, but a series of mis-understandings created a rift between them and forced them to break their friendship. This made Gunjan guilt-ridden, and she cursed herself for not trusting on her best friend and more than that, she could never understand that how much he loved her!

Things started to change slowly, when Gunjan came back at Shergill Mansion with an excuse to look after Suhani since she went in depression after Indira's death, but the actual aim of Gunjan was to win back her husband's love and claim her right in the house. Samrat kept on ignoring her, and his ignorance became even higher when he came to know that Gunjan knew about his feelings for her.

Several times he tried to insult Gunjan, hurt her, show her down, so that she gives up and leaves him forever. But Gunjan was adamant on her decision, and it was her strong belief that even after several trials, Samrat gave up and confessed his love to her with true heart.

And when true love binds two persons together, then no damn problem or mis-understanding can separate the two- the same was with Gunjan and Samrat, who were bound in true love, and nothing could ever separate them. Whether Gunjan's father tried his best to separate them and create mis-understandings between them, or whether Armaan came back in their lives; they were always together and vowed to face any problem together with courage.

Armaan, being a true friend to both, handled the situation very maturely and understood that how deeply Samrat & Gunjan loved each other. There was no point in separating them, as he never loved Gunjan and did not even dream to marry her. She was his friend, and she would remain his friend throughout his life.

Though Dr. Shashank was upset with Gunjan's decision of living with Samrat, he was later on forced to accept the fact that he was the best person for her, and he would take care of her more nicely. Shashank's anger was short-lived, as he soon realized that his judgment for Samrat was totally wrong and that he extremely loved his daughter.

With this, the story came to happy ending, as Samrat and Gunjan had their twin daughters, Sonal & Sonam with them as their future. But this was not the end- this is the beginning of a new life for them. ❤️

So, finally, this FF has come to an end. And seriously, I'm gonna miss writing this Fic, as it's my personal favouraite! 😔😒 But all good things do come to an end someday, isn't it? 😛

You all have been reading and commenting on this FF since one and half years, and it has been a really very nice experience for me while writing this, as I came to learn many things! 😳 After 'Madly In Love With You', this was my second FF on SaJan and third FF after 'Love Knows No Boundaries', which was a MoNaya Fic. And let me tell you guys that I started this FF with an extremely different concept, where Indira was supposed to play a negative character. 🤔🤔

But since the earlier concept was not much appealing to me, so I decided to change it and I hope that you guys loved the journey through this story, enjoyed reading each and every part. 😳😛

I thoroughly enjoyed writing the FF and reading your wonderful comments was like a treat to me! 😳 You guys have always encouraged me to write well, I really give a 'big' thanks to you all and I promise to entertain you guys with my other works in future as well. 😎

And since this Fan-Fic has come to an end & by now you all know the characters pretty well, I simply want to know that which character is your most favouraite in this FF (it can either be the central or supporting character) and also the reason behind that particular character being your favouraite. 😃
