thank you so much for loving this ff...i think i might wind this story up in a few more chapters so please bare with me...till then...
NK had been luking for ishika from a long time. He went into the kitchen and found her. Today he would confess his love for her. He went up to her. "Umm...ishika i need to...i need to talk to you!!!!!!" he stammered. "About what??? and please hurry up..." said ishika.
"ISHIKA I LOVE YOU!!!!!!"
Ishika couldn't believe what she heard.
"What did...what did you say...just now...???" asked a shocked ishika. She was too numb to even realize the fact that a boy had just proposed her. And that too in an odd place like the kitchen.
NK huffed. This time he gathered all his courage and went near her. He held her by the shoulder and luked into her crystal clear eyes. He whispred them again. "I LOVE YOU...". He luked up to her face to see her reaction , but he could not decipher her emotions. She was too blank.
Ishika was too shocked to even react. Her mind , playing back those horrorsome images which she had witnessed when she was just 4 years old. The tragic story of her parents.
(Flashback)
"Gaurav please listen to me...don't do this...please..." screamed sharmila , ishika's mother. "Oh shut up , i don't need you and your stupid kid anyways..." screamed gaurav.
"Gaurav for once think about that little kid...your her dad..how could you..." panted sharmila. She was 4 months pregnant and her baby bump was just begining to show. Gaurav had brought in khushi and was throwing out sharmila and ishika out of the house.
"I said GET OUT..."
"Gaurav please...I love you...please..." but her sobs turned into horrifying screames as gaurav pushed sharmila down the stairs and she hit her head. She was bleeding profusely. But the little girl , who had been seeing all this just rushed towards the telephone and called the ambulance.She was emotionless. Not a single tear came out of her eyes as she was tired of crying. She gave gaurav , a one last glance to his new family and went away with her mother.
Sharmila had had a miscarriage and shattered. Arnav's dad Viren , suggested that they should move to london and start a new life. And thier Ishika Bajpai was born. Ishika Gupta died the day her mother was kicked out the house.
And then one fine day , she met Arnav , which a different story alltogether.
(End of flashback)
Ishika jerked off NK's hands from her shoulders. Her eyes bloodshot. She never expected her past to come back in her life as her future. She luked up at NK. Her blood was boiling up each second and she screamed
"IF YOU THINK THAT YOU WILL GET MY PROPERTY THEN FORGET IT..."
NK was dumbstruck at her comment. Never did he expect such an answer from her. "Ishika..." but before he could he finish , ishika ran out of the kitchen , leaving behind a heartbroken NK.
Arnav and khushi came down after thier passionate love making and were greeted warmly by the guests. Khushi noticed that all the girls , who were of arjun's age were roaming around him. And then she spotted arnav , with whom many girls were as usual flirting. "LIKE FATHER LIKE SON...!!!!!!!!!!" her mind screamed. It time for a dance and arnav extended his hand towards khushi. She blushed but took his hand. Everybody was clapping and they went up to the dance floor. Arnav noticed NK and ishika standing at a distance and asked them to join them.
Ishika saw NK cuming up to her and giving her a hand to take. She first refused but when she saw arnav's happy face , she decided to go. She didn't want to spoil Arnav and khushi's day becoz of her past. Both the couples were standing in the dance floor facing each other. The song started. Arnav spun around khushi and took her by her shoulders. He stopped her and luked deeply into her eyes. His soul was eating him up due to guilt and he couldn't take it anymore. Khushi saw arnav's eyes darkening and suddenly she saw arnav , speeding up. She knew he was repenting for his actions , his rudeness , his arrogance was now eating him up.
NK luked up at a disinterested ishika. He even heard her murmuring "Can we just finish this crap fast...". It broke his heart even more. But he wasn't going to give up so easily. He would give his best shot to win her heart. At any cost. He took her hand and pulled her near him. Thier bodies collided with each other. Ishika closed her eyes tightly.

Arnav's eyes spoke volumes to khushi. A silent tear escaped his eyes as he saw her smiling at him. She was sad. She couldn't see her arnav like this. They danced till the song ended , ovlivious to what was happening between the other two lovebirds.
Ishika couldn't take it anymore and she jerked off NK's hand and went away. At that moment the song ended and everybody was clapping. Arjun came up to arnav and kissed his cheek as he bent down. "Dad that was super cool..." he said and hugged his dad tightly. Arnav was proud to have a son like arjun. Arjun was luking for ishika but couldn't find her. "Dad, did you see maasi...???" asked arjun. Arnav nodded. He saw khushi cuming up. Arjun started to walk away as the guests were leaving.
"Arnav...are you ok???" asked a concerned khushi. But before she could enquire further , she found his lips on hers. Arnav was kissing her like crazy. Arnav bit khushi's bottom lip as she moaned and gave him a quick access inside her mouth. Thier tongues were dancing , whereas arnav's hands were roaming around khushi's petite waist. She let out a soft whimper as his touch was sending shock waves down her nerves. At last they broke the kiss as they were out of breath.
"Khushi...iam...iam so sorry..." gasped arnav. Khushi just gave a light peck on his cheeks which surprised him to an unlimited extent. "Arnav...forget the past. I love you and you love me...what the meaning of the other things then..." she said shyly and went away. "Khushi...i promise to make everything right in our lives again...i promise..." arnav said to himself.
Arjun was luking for ishika but couldn't find her at all. Then he remembered. Thier secret spot. Maybe she was there. Arjun ran towards the garden and saw ishika standing under the shamiana. She was luking at the night sky. Her eyes moist. "Ma , did you see that. NK just...he just...he proposed me danmit. How could i say yes??? I don't have faith on anybody else except arnav's family..." but then she remembered. NK was arnav's brother. How could he not be family. "Ma...you know that after that incident i have stopped listening to my heart..." but her silent conversation was interupted by arjun. "MAASIII..." he screamed at joy and hugged her knees.
Ishika sat on her knees to see arjun's face. "Maasi you and NK chachu were great!!!!!!!" saying this he hugged her again. Ishika's blood boiled as she heard his name. But she didn't know why she also felt releived after hearing his name. She was lost in her thoughts when she noticed that she had accidently cut her wrist and it bleeding. Arjun pulled ishika inside the house with those little fingers of his and gathered the whole family there.
"Oh my god!!!!!!! How did you cut your hand???" arnav and khushi said in unison. NK , who was watching this from far , had an urge to go near her and soothe her pain but decided not to go. Whereas ishika was luking here and there. Was she luking for someone????
