I read your note and I thought there will be no update but then the PM came! YAY! :D

This chapter...excuse me while I smack Arnav (lightly) on the back of his head - You stupid stupid jealous man! Aankhein kholo, bitwa! See how your sister is getting all antsy at Yash and Little Khushi's leaving and not your wife! :s :p

And I loved how Khushi gave him a dose of his own medicine! Atta girl! Stupid bitwa.

Awesome chapter! I like how the focus is shifting now... :)

PS - I have reclaimed my first position...at least for now! MUAHAHAHAHA! ;) :D

and now that yash is away ,i am sure all the focus will be on arnav and khusi ,like rae said !!

Sorry once again for the late un-res, but I did not have the time yesterday, and there was no way I was gonna give up my spot as the third commenter for your fic, so I left my reservation here 😆

Anyway getting to the part, while they are short, they are still full of everything such as impact, drama, emotions and a touch of humour.

These few lines were so ASR that I had to re-paste them here because I fell in love with them :)

The problem was—if one could call love a problem—that the more essential Khushi became to him, the more he feared losing her. And, fear was not an emotion that Arnav was accustomed to.

Anjali's response to Yash's departure was a more than a little amusing. So this...thing that you are hinting at is not just from Yash's side, it can be felt from Anjali's as well. I love a budding romance, and I love the pace at which you are unfolding their feelings layer by layer. First showing the concern from Yash's side, then the motherly love from Anjali's, then the protectiveness from Yash, and then the distress at his leave from Anjali. Even the subtle hints such as him staring at Anjali as he extended the invitation of the "Raizada's" to stay over with them in Lucknow was a beautifully added touch!

Now coming to Khushi and Arnav. I love how you are not linking this jealousy to Arnav's insecurity of Khushi's love, or their love. You are just showing that a man, regardless of whether his woman loves him unconditionally, will still feel jealous and protective if another man starts coming into the scene - even if it's just a friend.

When Khushi tried catching Arnav's eye, and he refused to look at her, it was ASR's way of silently telling her he was not pleased about something. Khushi is all vocal with her displeasure, whereas ASR lets his anger know more by actions and silence, than by words. Which is why I was cheering so loudly when Khushi gave him a taste of his own medicine by not making eye contact towards the end of the part.

I love these little details you add to your fic. It makes it so much more pleasurable to read! This has to be my favourite FF's of all time. Keep writing, Maya! :)

Aw Arnav is still a bit jealous of the doctor! I hope they go to Lucknow, take Anjali away for some time so she can clear her head and build new memories. Little Khushi is adorable! Amazing update. Arnav does have bad mood swings but his wife is no less.'Khushi was most conscious that Arnav had his attention on her and not his sister.'

Does this mean what I think it means 😉

How Khushi's gonna keep his insecurities in check will be a huge task for her...he is madly in love with her but he's got to understand that she feels the same way abt him only and nobody else...now the battle for arranging the birthday begins...thanx a lot for the pm.

Arnav is cute and stupid at the same time. Cute for his "meri biwi sirf meri hai" atitude and stupid for applying it everywhere.

I guess the sparks have started flyin from annali's side for yash. Hope to read their story too soon.
