Okay there is something wrong with me. Today, I went to meet the head of my dept about being given an additional course I've been angling for at work, for literally four months. i've whined, wheedled, pouted, tossed my hair in various people's faces. done everything I could to get this one course I wanted to teach, and today I got it. The only issue is-it'll be a class that will be taught by me at around the same time as you update daily. So, three days a week, I'll get to read my update on "About Last Night" two hours later than I usually do. Its not that i wont get to read it, or that I'll miss out. It'll just be...later.

So, my dear, I just walked out of my Dept. office, having casually said I'll think about the course, and get back to them. Because my time for checking to see if you've updated WAS ALREADY HERE and I needed to get to my laptop. Fast. And of course, the two hour later thing.

If I am a homeless hobo on the streets, panhandling for Internet cafe money this time next week, Its going to be on your head. And yeah. the pan handling money will probably also be so I can get my ALS update. ON time. This is your review-not of the piece you have been working on, which is so addictive I think you should honestly have warned us before starting on it.--But on how distracting, how integral it has become. Damn you, fantastic writer...my fists are shaking in the air in a vaguely threatening manner...take from that what you will.
