It has oft been said that angry people are not wise.

And, though one is reluctant to generalize about an entire sex, this statement is especially true of men. And, most especially true of a man named Arnav Singh Raizada.- Cant agree more with the first line! And the lines in red couldnt be more true!

Arnav saw her face drain of colour. He instantly felt regret. He had hurt her.- I loved that Arnav realized his folly the very instant he saw the effect of his statement on his wife!

But, she had hurt him. She had made plans without consulting him.- Typical Arnav!

Loved the PaYash bits as well. Aakash is a truly loveable husband.

Payal's words assailed Arnav with images of that day. The photo shoot. The red saree. The rain in the parkade. Anger again had made him irrational that evening. She had almost been run over by a car. Arnav's own heartlessness shamed him. His throat locked with self-disgust. He pushed away from the table, and walked towards the stairs. As he began to climb the stairs, something made him stop. He looked back and saw that Khushi watched him. She had watched him leave. Their eyes met for a brief moment. He wordlessly begged her to come to him.

Khushi turned away. - I loved this whole para! Arnav is guilty over how he hurt Khushi in the past,he cant bear it,walks away. But cant help steal a glance at his wife.Khushi,being Khushi,is giving him a taste of his own medicine.

I loved the rest of the chapter. Very difficult to choose a single line/sentence which touched my heart. But yet- I cant help but highlight the last line.

Khushi smiled, pressing her lips to his neck. "Yes," she said. "You are a terrible husband." - I'd like to say that she could have very well followed the sentence up with "But despite that,m madly,irrevocably in love with u!"

@Rae- 👏 😊 I agree with you!

@Constructive Critics- Please do understand that there's a fine line between constructive criticism and Plain obtuseness. For an author- when they are writing a story- there's some basic character sketch in their mind- and for the story to come out right- they have to stick to it. As for the "Thank you for loving me." line, May I suggest you go back to the prequel and start reading from there?

Arnav in Maya's story does not even think about physical intimacy in the beginning. He gives her space- and though he does not really believe in love- he acknowledges his desire for Khushi to be beside him forever. That in ASR terms is irreversibly and irrevocably In Love. There is a subtlety in Maya's Arnav that is very appealing. He doesn't like showing that he cares- but when he does- he does so with the utmost sincerity. Just read the Chapter 44 again you'll realize it there itself.

I'm sorry- But I just couldn't resist it. No intention of hurting anyone! Just felt I should clear some points- as a fellow Author- I know how it feels when a particularly good spot in your story is criticized. Again- No intentions to hurt or interfere here!

The update is lovely. I can clearly understand arnav's insecurity and from where he is coming but I'm more than glad the way khushi thrashed it.
