She is 18 nd he is 28...jayada difference toh nahi hai... When my mom get married she was 19 nd my dad was 28... Its normal in india... So maan ko kyu problem hai...

I am generally undemanding from the writers I like - I ask only for a good plot and strong mature realistic characterisation.I dont even ask for PM of updates.

This plot does not quite fit into my bill. I am not quite in favor of marriages like this - wide age gap, too young immatured girl, soft character and no ambition in life for studies and job - similarly supported by family, only concentrated on the man and the marriage. I also look for realism in every story and this doesnt look so - nothing is realistic when you are just 18.

Still, I've read this and found it a nice starting. Though I am not sure if I will continue...

Please dont mind my saying this, but that was a different generation altogether.

While the difference between our parents time and ours should have been just one generation, in actuality the difference has become multiple generations. More so when I see people junior to me, say my niece of 15. She totally belongs to a different world.And this is in India.

Age gaps were common earlier, but now urban people with similar background and stature in life as Maan prefer life partners who are on same wavelength. Atleast I have myself, my batchmates, my colleagues for example. I definitely didnt want to marry someone with an age gap of ten years anytime in life, let alone when I was 18. In present times, the consensus is that 2-3 yrs of age gap is ideal.

But again, opinions and situations vary. This was just my personal thoughts.
