O no no'when khushi broke his name in three part things invariably turned into every wrong direction..

"wo..hum.." she closed her eyes and in one breath completed the rest of the sentence "humse aapka laptop kharab ho gaya.."

"WHAT?"

"Humse gir gaya.. humara irada nahin tha..hum jaante hain aapke liye zaruri hai par ..hum gir gaye'aur.."

by the last part she was all choked up..

"Khushi tum.."

"Ek minute..humari baat khatm nahi hui.." she turned back, opened the cupboard and taking the new laptop out held it towards him.

For the next few seconds..he was speechless'trying to understand what exactly was going on.. and when he did..

"Khushi.."

"wahi model hai.. humne khaas dekh ke liya hai!"

"Khu'"

"wo nai hai? unhone toh hume kaha ke.."

"Kh'"

"hum jaante hain uspe aapki zaruri cheezen bhi thi'par hum who kaise laayen? hum.."

silence'

"humne kab mana kiya aapko..? aap.."

breathe in..breathe out..breathe in..breathe out.. control..ok..

"tumhare paas paise kahan se aaye?"

she deliberately avoided his eyes..

"aapse matlab? humne aapke liye naya laa diya na? aur agar who nahi hai toh hame waapas kijiye hum doosra wala le aayenge.."

HP- "Khushiji aapko anjalidi bula rahin hain.."

"Haan HariPrakash ji hum hum aa rahe hain" she said edging past Arnav avoiding his hard stare completely.."

Arnav had rummaged his brain long enough but could just not get it how she had bought the laptop'more importantly why? he had waited for 2 days didn't mean he had to get 2 laptops..

Paayal- "Are khushi... tumne naye earrings pehne hain? bahaut sundar hain.. who amma wale utaar diye?"

khushi's cup shook immediately in her hand spilling some of it on her dress' it didn't go unnoticed..at least by a certain someone on the table..

"nai nai'hum thik hain'haan jiji, kitne dinon se ek hi pehne hue the..yeh hume di ne diye hain" she said smiling nervously towards anjali who gave a broad smile..

"aur hume bahaut khushi hai ke hume ye aapke liye chune'bahaut pyaari lag rahin hain aap'"

khushi looked upto Arnav and the look she got back, she immediately looked away'and that made him damn sure! so this was it'

"haan?"

"apni earrings lana"

"kya lana?" she could'nt believe her ears'

"earrings..jo subah pahni thin.."

"kaam hai.."

"aapko kya kaam hai?"she said gulping..

"tum nervous kyun ho rahi ho? earrings hi mangi hain.."

"hum..hume kaam hai abhi .. aur waise bhi, appko kya matlab hamare jhumkon se? kaunse aapko pehenn'."

she stopped mid-sentence as a fuming arnav raised an eyebrow'

" toh tumne earrings bech din.."

she whirled back..how on earth did he..

"haan bech din'toh?apni bechin hain..hamari marzi'"

" O really?"
