"haan...aapko kya..?... oh..achcha.."

Arnav made a 'what?' expression

"Aapko darr lag raha hai ke sab logon ko laga hoga ke arnav singh raizada ki patni zevar bechne aa gayi..apmaan ho gaya aapka'."

he continued to stare a plastic stare at her..

"toh hum aapko bata den ke humne kisi ko nahi bataya ke hum aapki patni hain.."

"Mai.."

"Aur na hum shantivan ki gadi me gaye the"

"Khu.."

"Aur na .."

that was it. she would never stop this way..and he was done with speaking in the fashion of a broken record. One glance at his watch..and soon Arnav Singh Raizada had stormed out of the room holding a bewildered Khushi's hand and was shouting for Hari Prakash..

HP- "Ji bhaiyya?"

"Koi puche toh bata dena ke mai aur khushi bahar ja rahe hain..ek ghante me laut aayenge"

"ji bhaiyya"

"Arre..abhi..hum...kahan?"

*silence*

IN CAR

"Kahan beche hain?"

"kya?"

"earrings..kahan bech ke aayi ho?"

"hum utar rahe hain'" she said holding the car door but the car immediately started..

"khushi maine pucha kahan bech ke aayi ho"

*silence*

"Sia"

*silence again..*

The car screeched to a halt before Sia showrooms..

"Uthro"

No sooner did the two enter the showroom..the owner strode towards them..

"What a pleasure Mr Raizada..aapne takleef kyun uthayi?..hum bhijwa dete aadmi aapke ghar.."

"laad governer".. khushi muttered under her breath..

"No.. actually di ka birthday hai kal.. I wanted to personally get something for her..so ghar pe.."

"Oh of course of course.."

"and" arnav said glancing sideways at khushi.. "meri wife aayi thi subah aapke paas"

"what? oh..oh my..aap..you are Mrs Raizada?"

The confusion screamed out of his eyes..and Khushi felt pathetic'

"ya..she happened to be shopping at Crote's(mall just adjacent to Sia)..and after shopping usne realize kiya ke she left her purse at home'so it was either this or compromise on the shopping and'women!.." he said smiling at a khushi who could fall to the ground any moment..(you can play the bg mentally if u like)

The owner burst into huge laughter'.but of course if 'Mrs Raizada' had been shopping things could come no less than having to sell gold jewellery..so this was it..

"Of course! of course.. pleasure to meet you Mrs Raizada.. agar hame koi idea bhi hota..believe me.."

"No..problem" Arnav broke in'"so'can we?"

"Ya sure sure' this way please.."

Khushi felt numb.. all the way in the car she had been thinking what she would have to go through, the humiliation'but this was...he'.she could'nt believe it'soon her jewellery had been returned with a lot of 'if onlys''

"waise lagta hai Mrs Raizada has had a similar past experience.. humare paas aapki koi aur cheez bhi hai"

arnav whirled his head towards khushi, as two kangans were produced before him..

"haan..woh'" khushi turned red..as she recognized the pair'

"who bhi deh dijiye.." arnav broke in once again., then turned to grind his teeth at khushi...

"I have no idea about all this.. .kuch pasand karo di ke liye.."he motioned at the lines of sets spread before them..

"haan'."

she was perfectly sure di would like it'it was beautiful'would look perfect on her..

"yeh wala.."

arnav looked at it and could'nt agree more with her.. di would love it..his gut feeling told him..

"hmm..xcuse me! ya ..yeh wala please'"

"Must say Mr Raizada" the worker beamed as he handed him the packet.. "your wife has taste.."

khushi gave an embarrassed smile..

"chalen?"

"hm.."

"aap kuch nahin lengin mam?"

"nahi abhi hamen thodi jaldi hai.. phir kabhi.."

"sure and my best regards to your family.."

arnav nodded and soon they were back to the car..

IN CAR

"aapne kyun liye wapas?.."

*silence*

"aap.."

"Kyunke tum koi bhi kaam karne se pehle , 'sochna' last option rakhti ho..laptop do din se kharab tha.."

"KYA?"

"humne itna sab kuch...aap pehle nahi bata sakte the?"

"ya right.. mujhe pehle se samajh jana chahiye that ke tum ye paagalpan karogi.."

khushi gave him an angry look..which was wasted since he was looking straight ahead'

IN ROOM

Khushi sat staring at her kangan and tears glistened in her eyes.. she had missed them.. a lot.. and they were back..she immediately put them on

soon Arnav was back in the room too..

"aapne pehle kyun nahin bataya kal di ka janmdin hai?aap' ab hum.."

"haan nahin bataya" he said coming towards her'" kyunki kal di ke liye, aur mere liye bhi, bahaut important din hai' I'm not going to let anything or anyone ruin it' di kal sirf khush rahengi..i'll see to that'samajhi tum?"

"Kya?"
