He saw her……..saw her eyes……..the tears………the pain……..the fear…………

He spoke worriedly "Khushi? Sweetheart…….what's wrong?" She didn't say anything………just stood still…..tears rolling out……..her fear was very strong……built up…….for many years……..few hours of love……..wasn't going to fix the damage……….

He held her firmly…….and asked her again "Khushi, what's wrong?" Arnav couldn't understand her fear……her tears suddenly……..he didn't know………

TRING TRING……TRING TRING – His phone rang again…….

She trembled with the sound of his phone………she turned to look at his phone………..then back at him……with eyes full of pain and fear………

It ALL came back to him………exactly was she was thinking………..that night………..

He wanted to hurt himself for ever causing her so much pain………she was still frightened for something that happened so many years ago…….. it still bothered her……..it still brought back bad memories…………

He quickly embraced her………trying to calm her………to comfort her……….

He said "Khushi…….I am so sorry………please don't cry like this………please……….it kills me to see you like this…….I love you Khushi…….I am so sorry…….I know you can't trust me right away……..but I promise you……I will always love you Khushi……..more than anything else in the world……."

She calmed a bit………..resting on his chest……….surrounded by his strong arms……….comforted by his loving words…………

She held him with all her strength……..as if he was going to leave her……..without saying anything……

He hugged her tight………as well……..and reassured "Khushi………I am not going anywhere……..I won't go anywhere………I CAN'T go anywhere……..without you……..anymore…….I will never separate you from me……NEVER………Khushi……are you listening to me……."

She didn't say anything…….yet stayed exactly where she was………relaxing on his chest…….not crying anymore…….not trembling………just relaxing……..while he held her……….with so much love………

FEW MINUTES LATER……..

She composed herself………moved back……..hitting the wall again……….

He let her move back……giving the space………she needed……….

He walked away from her………towards the table……..picked up his phone………and turned it off………

He walked back to her………held her hands………and said "sorry…….I should have turned it off earlier…….no more distractions…….."
